that technological marvel that looks hideous to everyone, but you just drive it without a care in the world

 

 

that one car we'd use to dramatically pull our friends out of a tough spot, no matter how impractical it is

 

 

that car that handles and drives like a deathtrap, but you look at it and you can't just hate it

 

 

We all got favorites, yeah, but we must have at least one signature car that stands out from the rest. Which car is yours?

It was one of the cars that would often spawn in traffic on last-gen consoles (and still does), so I had to buy it because I loved how it looked. Had it ever since. Most supercars are too fast for me, so the Bullet suits me just fine because I don't end up crashing into stuff.

I cruised the mean streets of Liberty City with it, and when I came to Los Santos, it followed me along. It's not the fastest, it's not the prettiest, and it's not the most economic, but my 1987 Albany Emperor is the only car I've ever loved like a family member.

The one time where the GTAO team really exceeded my hopes - I heard there'd be an "R34 Skyline" coming with Import/Export, but I was hoping for an update of the San Andreas Elegy, with a bit more R33 in it, updated to be AWD to handle more like a proper GT-R, and with all that good stuff at Benny's.

 

...I mean, in hindsight, either someone read my e-mails and liked the idea too, or I got incredibly lucky, but either way, dayum!

Didn't take many shots at the time, but the glorious open world, dynamic weather

and the long, smooth roads with a car as good as the Massacro...

There's a lot of cars I've owned and driven in the game, but if there's any one car that would be my "signature"...it'd definitely be the Massacro & Massacro Racecar.

This is what I would call ideal. 

 

Other cars I'd call my signature are vehicles I always enjoy driving or prefer for cinematic/role-play situations that I've called upon over and over again.

Buffalo S - I had Franklins from last gen but I lost the plate by accident. 9F Cabrio - The first car I actually set my mind to and saved up enough money to buy. Cheetah Classic - Bought this beauty recently, such fun to just rip up the road from Los Santos to Paleto Bay and back again.

Literally in every Heist, I use this.

It's basically a tool that makes a vast amount of setups noob-proof, like racing to PB Plane and killing all the Vagos before the others get there. Then get in the plane and just pray none of them kill themselves somehow.

Try as I might, I can't pick just one car. It's at least a split between:

 

* My original beloved Entity XF (which later got the traction nerf shaft from unscrupulous Rockstar <insert epic cuss words here>). That beautiful thing was like the love child of Spiderman and the Road Runner. Almost didn't need any armor it was so good. I'd happily fork over $20 million just to get that functionality--with a guarantee on pain of death--back.

 

* My Zentorno (the bulletproof back has saved my posterior several times, and I love the engine sound and acceleration).

 

But I also use my OP Stromberg and Armored Kuruma (just to stay alive in a screwed up Los Santos) and love my T20 and Duke O'Death.

Back in the day, I used to drive the Schafter LWB on a regular basis, and I had two of each, one in pure black and the other in aluminium silver. 

 

Not the fastest car ever, but definitely a convenient and useful car when it mattered. It could store up to 4 people, and it's price made it affordable. 

 

I forgot to say the car looks amazing in silver, like every Mercedes-Benz should. 

 

My racing car of choice was the T20, when it was the most expensive car and the best in overall performance, not the fastest or best handling but it got me to places faster than any car would.

Yes I know there's a bit of Maserati mixed in there (particularly door handles), but the front and back are Jag XFR all the way. Gutted I can't turn the trim to cream on this like you can on some of the more recently released cars.
