SpaceBeagle
Got my first horse, wanted Andalusian but that didn't work out - then totally unexpectedly in forest I found 'splashed white' American Paint girl, that I called - Moonchild!
red-apples
I always end up using the boy he saves from the barn in the Prologue mission at Sadie's homestead. Always named him 'West' to reflect Arthur's longing for the American West.
JB1982
Whenever I start a playthrough, I call all my main horses Old Faithful. Beyond that I tend to just name them randomly out of humour or nostalgia. For example I have another horse on my current playthrough called Boadicea II and third called Leeroy Jenkins.
ViktorFekete
I got the Reversed Dapple Black Thoroughbred I usually name Szélvész (which is 'Tempest' or 'Wind-strom' in Hungarian), and in the Epilogue I use that horse and the Silver Turkoman which I always call Vihar (which means 'Storm'). guerilla_man
I came up with all sorts of names… could not call my horse muffy because it is considered profanity. so I called my male horse boof head. and Xenia for a female horse. Vigorro for a male horse. There is a reason why we have a profanity check when naming horses because people will post dirty names online and people who check these games out complain about the game profanity. If I want to name my horse something no dirty names or vulgar names.
MrBreak16
I didn't change my horse's name. I kept playing with the Tennessee Walker that you get at the start of the game, because of this I kept referring it as "Tennessee." During the epilogue, I found a black American Standardbred and I called him Austin since I found him in the desert of New Austin.
