I didn't realize it was going to look this awesome in the screenshot or else I would've turned off the HUD. The lighting in this game is phenomenal

Yes the lighting is amazing, the shadows too.

And the vegetation draw distance, especially the grass, phenomenal.

Went out to check out this little pier by the lake, I was looking for a canoe. Didn't find one. Ended up getting caught in a rainstorm and hunkered down here for awhile until the storm passed. The ambiance in this game though, damn.

 

Don't go walking slow through the Bayou

 

Better run through the jungle

Just went to Strawberry for the first time. So detailed and so lively town. It first reminded me of the sawmill in GTA V.

 

What happened to places like this? Did they get abandoned, demolished or just developed little by little into something more modern? Or did they become tourist attractions?

Gifs work the same as the photos. But I have had issues with them in the past as welI.
