It's been years since that video was posted and the audio was recorded. You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone that still gives a crap about him these days. The Dispatch missions from last year did nothing to make him memorable or anything. He's just a mascot for the adversary modes (who will probably get replaced by another contact in the update, but that's just my speculation). R* tried to make him a big part of your character's rise up the criminal ladder, but all the updates made him fall by the wayside. He had nothing to do with the heists or businesses (the content that everyone cares about in terms of making money) after the next-gen and PC versions of the game came out (far from the days of contact mission grinding as being a prominent money-making method).

 

Plus, Yusuf Amir is way more fitting for the update, and he's a more popular and memorable character to boot. Heck, even that hobo who gets the diamonds at the end of TBOGT would be way more exciting to see than that prick.

Preferably Yusuf because then he'd maybe give us new contact missions, similar to Lamar's lowrider missions.

This actually pretty funny... makes me wonder if they will have NPC's scripted saying "I lost everything" as they walk out of the casino or something like that. I enjoy the small details like that.

Those are pretty fun to drive, they sound exactly like the Corvettes with the similar drivetrain.

Yes, they use the same engine as the C7 Z06s with the 6.2L V8 LT4 engine but with 10HP less having 640HP instead of 650HP like the Z06.

I want the new gladiator. Wish I had one in rl. Also, a benny's version of the 1940's jeep that can be customized like the military motorcycle in game would be awesome 4th of July content.

It's one of the best handling sedans around. It's so good around a track. It handles too much like a sports car tho it's a sedan. It has a 0-60 in 3.6 seconds and a 200mph(321km/h) top speed.

But it aint no corvette Seriously though I'd well believe it. The last gen CTSV was a good car and helped break the land yacht image of Caddy.

Yeah. They’ve done this twice actually.

 

June 30 2017 - Newswire post about the Vagner plus a paragraph detailing the Independence Day bonuses (MOC livery)

 

June 28 2016 - Newswire post about the 811 plus a a few paragraphs detailing the Independence Day bonuses. 

 

There’s no reason why they can’t mention the Independence Day bonuses in the Casino Newswire.

 

We’ll just have to wait and see on Thursday.

So if it's a July 2nd release, Then are we expecting the trailer Thursday and some details over the weekend, like screenshots? And what happens next Tuesday when RDR updates, or is that pushed to Thursdays? I really don't play RDR to much, but when does there event week end? That could be a hint.

Well, the Corvette has better aerodynamics. But it's only 5mph faster than the CTSV.

I think trucks and off road vehicles are some of the less touched categories in GTA tbh. I would love to see more in this next update.
