I strongly doubt they will edit the exterior so the layout of the casino changes.

Bc that would require editing the minimap, which means editing the texture for when it's complete zoomed out in the pause menu, and edit the model that is used when zoomed in or in the radar.

(Yeah the minimap is 3D modelled.)

 

And then they can't edit the minimap for online only.

So if they change the exterior that much, then they MUST update it in Singleplayer too, otherwise the minimap would show a building that isn't in SP

Well...they could make it so the NPCs inside are invincible and don't react to crimes, and disable the thing from the nightclub that "closes the business".

And then just a collision that prevent shooting ANYTHING inside, and i believe there won't be much problems.

And make it that players lose the wanted level when entering the interior so they can't use weapons inside.

Likely not gonna be an issue anyways, I'm sure it will have a loading screen to get inside just like most properties.

I'm fairly convinced we will walk through a corona with a load screen to access the nightclub, if for no other reason than preventing the whole closing business when someone attacks.

Unless they make it taller. Then no mini map changes required.

 

I mean, obviously some of the exterior will get changed. It's not the Be Lucky casino anymore.

Im hoping they remodel the whole property to resemble the richman hotel, but with a taller main building. If we get a massive penthouse suit with plenty of storage, it will effectively be a mansion minus the yard and sole ownership. I just really want pv storage in my suite....and a hot tub by the tv.

If r* goes 'All In' and actually remodels a building for a dlc, then a minimap redo isn't out of the question. They never added any of the stilt house sections, bunker, or facility map updates to sp as far as I know.  It is the cashcow of a billion dollar AAA game company afterall.

They added the missle silo door on Mount Chiliad as well, which I think did require some changes to the mountain? 

 

I'm sure someone is about to correct me.

 

Edit: NVM looks like they just plopped the door prop down on a flat part of the mountain.

But i mean making it longer and wider.

That would require adjusting the minimap and such.

And adjusted minimap means changed building in SP too.

Bc even though R* doesn't change SP anymore, i doubt they would just show a wrong building in the minimap intentionally

The mountain itself wasn't edited.

Thex just put a bit of terrain over the mountain itself and load the silo door bc both are props.

Which is why both mostly aren't there in races or contact missions

If they will redo the place, which i believe they will. I don't know i'm feeling the sensation that we wil going to see another, at least, 2 more weeks of new props, but thye didn't add them yet to not blow up the surprise. Bcz, if it will become larger/taller with a new face lift, it wouldn't be quite unrealistic the only props added are just in front of the casino door and are not a big deal to being with?

P.S.: There will be some changes in that area, 100% correct. Bcz, the "Be Lucky Casino" sign will of course not be there in the next update.

Didn't they update the minimap for the Dam facility to include the bridge? If so it clearly wasn't that big of a deal to them. Plus who wants to enter a pink building with everything R* listed so far in that pink building. A exterior change is almost guaranteed, because of the name change so the current signs saying "Be Lucky" need to go and realistically everything R* listed can not fit in the current casino, but anything can happen. 

 

This can't be that hard, R* probably knew they would need to change the minimap and they already have a solution to it.

I think the same, the current casino building and race track will be removed and replaced with a new building.

 

Current building is too small for a casino and a resort and other featured content that Rockstar mentioned in the newswire.

I just checked the sp map. They did change the minimap, and the pause map, when they added the square stilt part to the houses. If they did that just for the stilt part of the apts, they definitely can for the casino.

Not possible.

They can't have multible versions of a minimap and load one type when going online.

The minimap is updated in the update.rpf, but there is only 1 update.rpf.

And do you think they would make a complete new minimap system if they could just replace the building in SP too and be done with it?

Exactly. They put a lot of detail in the Los Santos map. I doubt they would half ass it now.

We still have to see if they make it accesable with a blue circle or like the strip club.

If it's like the strip club, then of course it needs to match.

To those who don't believe they will likely rebuild the whole casino and resort, the wording on the newswire insinuates the building will be brand new. 'A brand new luxurious location', 'largest entertainment complex' - currently, the rockford plaza is bigger than the current casino, so it has to go, surely......

The square part of the back of stilt apartments they added with E&OC. They added a nearly identical stilt add on to all the stilt apts. Some even clip through existing vanilla backyards/landscaping.
