Well, i guess you are more in the roleplay/character construction of the thing.

I can't say to fully understand this, i am more "Who care of the character in an online game, i want to play an action game, explore the map, run with cars ecc" type of player, i never take photos for example, just screenshots of funny moments/bugs/weird things in general, nor drink in a property or things like this, for me the character is just a ragdoll i use to play (In an online game, of course, in a well made story mode is different.)

I love how Rockstar is focusing on the "Role Play" aspects of GTA Online with the recent set of big Updates:
After Hours, which allowed you to visit a Techno Nightclub with actual DJs playing, in which you can dance and drink.

and the Casino is going to be similar, I believe, but a lot more expansive obviously.

 

I feel like in a future GTA Online(as in the Online component of GTA VI) Rockstar might focus a lot more on these aspects, and a lot less on aspects like a damn Oppressor flying around and gunning everyone down, or you running errands for your business constantly.

I also believe the Housers might have had a big influence on these types of Update themes, especially the Nightclub and Casino ones.(as it is rumoured that R* Upper Management tends to go to Casinos and Nightclubs and get drunk very often.)

Interesting to see someone on the other side of the online gaming spectrum, as someone like myself has roleplayed so much that I've somewhat taken on my characters personality even outside the game it's very interesting.

That's what I've been thinking, what if they actually add more stuff, hell, even alter the entire building. From what it sounds like the current size of the casino doesn't look like it would fit all the stuff that we heard about. And considering the possible release date it may be the case.

Yeah I'm starting to expect another round of props as well.

I expect nothing to happen. In typical rockstar fashion they probably designed 3 weeks of props only and then when their projected date changed they like -oop, well I guess we just leave em there!

The new update needs at least 40 new cars. Maybe some new planes, boats, and bikes. They need to go ALL OUT with this update. Especially since it's been 7, maybe 8 months since the last update. Be The Big Dog.

And the dripfeed will last, probably until GTA 6 which will come out in 2021 (according to CEO of TakeTwo)

Am I the only one expecting doomsday quantity of cars at the most? Idk. Something telling me it will be a decent amount of cars but not a crazy amount.

Yah im with you I would say maybe around 5 cars on day . Then about 15 in dripfeed I hope they have a good variety

I wouldn't be surprised if there was just one car on day one. How many were there in past updates day one?

During an interview with the CEO, I'll get the link. He said that Rockstar taking 8 years to release a video game is too long, and won't happen again after, I'm assuming GTA 6. I might be wrong, but that's what I'm getting from that article.

That‘s a Clickbait  garbage headline.

Strauss Zelnik was talking about games of T2 in general and never said anything about Rockstar titles or GTA in specific. And all he said was that they are aiming for more frequent releases

Idk but as we know the past updates have been miltaryish. If this is a more down to earth dlc I would say 1 super ,1 sports and 3 luxury

I don't care for things like, i dont'know, the shower, drinking in property, you know, all things that are not properly gameplay, i can do them one time, just to see the animation, but it ends there.  I'm not even much a pvp guy, i love deathmatch, but i avoid freemode, only go in dedicated jobs, i like races and collect as many vehicles as possible, not just cars useful for racing, i like every class and i hate the garage blacklist thing, i flooded the feedback page with message with only "REMOVE VEHICLE BLACKLIST AND GIVE GARAGE FOR LAND PEGASUS VEHICLES".

But my favorite jobs are heists and contact missions, i like to do them as realistically as possible, without meme vehicles and trash like that, even without Kuruma, when it was popular.

But really, i play substantially every mode, even adversary modes when they are 2X, i just don't care for the obsessive roleplay like the vallet parking, i just leave my car on the road, if some tryhard destroys it i can call it again, i really don't care, it's a game.

 

PS. I never either went to strip club to "use the service" for example, just some police shootout.

Arena Wars- 12 if you don't count all 3 variations of the arena cars.

 

After Hours- 6

 

SSASSS- 5

 

Doomsday- 16 counting the Thruster.

 

Smugglers Run- 9 but only 2 of them were cars.

 

Gunrunning- 9 but two of them were trailers.
