Hey, sidenote: anybody else ever notice the stand up jetskis in the bay area for the yacht model used for the Gunrunning resupply mission?! Just noticed them for the first time yesterday. I've always wanted stand up jetskis since the cover art for VCS came out lol. The model is already in game, why not add it and throw those of us thirsting for new watercraft a bone?? Probably because they would need new animations, but they make those for most large updates anyways, no?

I wouldn't mind if GTA Online went back to the update style of 2014

small updates with only a few cars, clothes and guns. As long as they're good quality, I'd be happy

It beats waiting a whole year for the nowadays only ANNUAL big update

Like I said in my post, it's on the yacht that spawns for FR missions and for Mike's mission in SP. There is an entrance at the bottom part of the back of the yacht, it has 4 Stand ups stacked 2×2, among other stuff. The same entrance that leads to the boiler room of the boat. They're just props obviously, but it couldn't be TOO hard to make them into usable vehicles. Next time you get a FR mission that uses the yacht prop, check it out.

As someone who still loves playing Wave Race 64 and Blue Storm, I would go absolutely nuts if we'd get a standup jet ski. OH boy, just thinking about it makes me want to quote the over-enthusiastic announcer from the 64 game.

Oh man waverace 64... Ugh I remember there was a learning curve with how to make a sharp turn without crashing and going out of bound. I used to play this a lot with friends. Good times.

And I'm pretty sure it's one of the very few racing games where the AI does NOT employ rubberband at all. This comes with its drawbacks, of course. If you mess up, there's no way you're placing first. Blue Storm was even trickier. Especially La Razza Canal.

 

When I ride the Seashark in gtao I always flip the bird when I catch some air to mimic the fist pump/thumbs up/whatever the hell Ayumi Stewart does the racers do when they catch air. There's something satisfying about that.

 

In an attempt of going back OT: It would be nice if we got some new boat in the DLC. We haven't gotten a new boat since Ill Gotten gains, I think. No, yacht doesn't count since it's a prop.

Trailer is top tier of wishful thinking.

 

It's primarily a combination of both;

- us knowing what we shouldn't know (when the Casino Construction Event ends.

- R* have officially announced an update involving the Casino on FB & Twitter, but not made mention of it on the Newswire, and no official announcement goes without a Newswire

 

The reason for tomorrow is because of the Event Week changeover. It'll save the Social Team having to go through the process of getting the article OK'd by the guys upstairs and translated for all Languages twice if they just combine it all into a single article.

Not sure tbh. I dont think this will follow patterns or typical marketing strategies Rockstar has used in the past however. Idk I think this is gonna be more like After Hours where the are using a seemingly random unconventional way of releasing information.

Personally, I'd prefer an info dump over a trailer. Really hoping for;

 

- What the update consists of gameplay wise

- The Shark Card/Gambling legal issue.

- Sneak peek at a few new toys

 

But probably the biggest hope is a huge list of things they've taken ever since the Feedback System update and what they're going to implement in this update.

It depends, there were times where trailers would reveal more than the newswire info for the same update.

Any news would be good. The 8 second gif was good for 1 week of speculation. A longer gif/video with sound would take 2/3 weeks to completely dry the speculation jar. So i'm good.

Well they could always put out a couple of pictures with the announcement.
