The legendary leaker R*Fa***t said before that it depended on who was the manager at the time of the dlc. Some wanted peace in LS, while others wanted complete chaos in the streets.

Was still getting full sessions literally just yesterday actually. Went on call for about 1 min and landed in a full Wreck It lobby.

Isn't that because is on double irrc. Usually that's when is active on my end other than that it's a ghost town. Most of the times.

The odd player would exit with a bunch and have a toy waiting and might pinch the odd kill from someone but rarely anything ongoing like a full on grief fest. Nothing unusual to anyone that's heisted a few, lol.

 

I'm on passive anyway, lol. Seems to draw more attention than not, but I don't care, blow my baby up and chuck the cash away ya just made, doughnut.

I play Arena every day, always been pretty active. No it is not double right now.

That's good then. At least when I've tried to join it takes a while to populate a lobby. Sometimes it be like 6 of us, there and every ends leaving because there isn't enough players to make it worth a while (for cash). I haven't really played it for a while now for that reason. May ask what system you play on?

Oh yeah, I can usually pull up 12+ player jobs in arena too. Occasionally it'll have a few less and I'm hoping the host has sense to keep it open for a bit and see but it's much like stunt races for me, and heists. Rarely more than 2 mins before I get pulled into one.

 

The spinner is a good draw for many too.

 

@Agent 14, PS4, UK/Euro afternoons when folk are more likely to be on around my area.

PS4. I always join on call through the phone though. Never host my own lobbies. I feel like that makes a big difference.

That's probably why then. I usually host when I'm in the mood for it. I'll probably try to joining via call and give it another chance.

That too, on call is one of my favourite features in this game. 

 

@Agent 14. Be sure to turn it into R* created only jobs in the online settings too as, if AP/unlocks are sought, just to be sure to get proper jobs.

 

A good way to vary things up I find, but for me personally, money isn't my aim on this so I can relax more too.

I'm really curious if the horse track will play any role in this, too. I doubt it... but I don't see any technical barriers to prevent them from adding horses to the game, and other animals. Animals work fine in RDO and on every FiveM server I've seen.

No, you'll still get invites to them. That setting only affects which jobs you'll be able to go on call for. (Unless I missed another setting) I've had my on call filter set to rockstar created only for a long time and still get invites for 10 billion rp and cash modes.

 

Halfway on topic, personally I'd rather the casino just be somewhere to gamble your life away rather than something we buy a stake in and get yet another thing to micro manage. I wouldn't mind being able to buy a penthouse suite there though, as long as I get a few more parking spaces for my cars with it. I also think that horse racing could make an appearance without needing actual horses, let me explain: while I was in Las Vegas jumping from casino to casino, I saw miniature mechanical horse racing that you could place gets on. It was neat to see, kind of like slot cars but with little horses. I think something like that could make an appearance.

I was wondering this also. The casino is like 1/3 the size of the horstrack building. Plus it has the suites in it. If they added horse racing griefers would prob just kill the horses tho.

Oh FFS! I misread again. that's twice I cocked it up this week.

 

@Agent 14. Standard Deluxe is right, the invites will still pop up on ya phone, but by selecting the option of R* only jobs, it will stop you getting pulled into player created pap like that though when you go on call. Sorry about that dude. *facepalm.

I can't see them added to the track in freeroam as it'll surely attract those broomsticks, lol. Probably be a bit much, although they could god mode them to stop the slaughter. I wouldn't object to flying past in my blimp as a race goes on beneath though, it would be a sight.

 

But a revamped Inside Track Betting setup like what San Andreas had would be cool and I feel is much more likely. Make one for greyhound racing too. Like being in the betting shops IRL.

I would think if they add horse racing it will be done in it's own private lobby. Like there would be a blue Corona at the entrance and if you want to bet/watch races it will load you into a separate lobby. Kind of similar to how poker is done in it's own lobby in RDO

Right. It would certainly be impossible to have a horse race in a public session.

 

As I said, i don't think this is likely to happen, but the excuse that animals are somehow incompatible with GTA Online doesn't fly anymore.

Someone here suggested there would be horse races on the TV's in the Casino which I think is the most likely scenario.

This is something that's really jarring even after 4 years from the PC release. They can't call it technical limitations when custom MP servers can include animals quite fine. No, I think it's a creative decision to not add them in. You can't even say "PETA terrorist threats" because you can slaughter animals in SP and RDO all day.

All I can say is that the DLC BETTER COME SOON. Im already at the point where Im not playing the game at all. They have a window of approx 3 weeks before i move onto another game. If they think they can wait until July 11, they will be sorely disappointed. Thats damn near a month away and weve not had new content since Reagan was President. Do you know your Presidents?

i know that discussion was hours ago, but the 1st thing i will do after the update got released, is looking into the game files.  

i did that with every DLC
