Beautiful car concepts. Imagine if R* would indeed make and add them to the game, only to (most likely) ruin them with horrible handling flags. I'm still pissed over what they did to the Itali GTO.

Mate they had it in the first RDR and RDR Online 10 years ago. That's why it is in RDR2 and RDO. It's part of the experience of Red Dead. Yes they may have timed it like this to gauge the response from the players, but I promise Poker was gonna come to RDO with or without the Casino update in GTA. 

 

Heists aren't blocked in any country. They are just fancy missions, no gambling or risk involved.

@Gentleman With all due respect, I'll also hazard a guess that you are not a game developer or work in the gaming industry. If I'm wrong then please correct me, however;

 

Creating the initial spec for a triple A title, working through drafts upon drafts, liaising with various other departments, working to deadlines and throughout a rigorous QA procedure is far from easy.

 

Please note: I personally do not work in the gaming industry (rather, I'm a web developer), however I have several close friends who do (friends of whom have apparently gone onto work at R* and other studios up here), who advise me that it is no piece of cake.

Without the trade price, I believe the Ruiner 2000 is $5.7m and Deluxo is $4.7m, so if they introduce a new set of crazy / meme / whatever-you-wanna-call-it vehicles, then I don't see why not.

Not sure if this has been asked before but if they introduce a new currency for gambling, would they pay you out in that currency or would you be able to cash out for gta$? If you cannot cash out for gta$ will there be exclusive items you buy with this second currency? I don’t play rdo so I don’t know how the second currency works.

I'd love to have "Let's Get Ready To Bumble" from San Andreas back. I used to visit the nightclubs in that game not to dance but to play that instead.

In RDO you have RDO$(dollars) and Gold Bars, RDO$ you naturally get by doing things in multi-player like missions, robbing stores and or loot bodies - Gold Bars can only be acquired by micro transactions, as such they are worth more than RDO$.

In GTAO it's too late to introduce a new currency exclusive to Shark Cards besides just being problematic in general with those who have bought shark cards and may think that they were ripped off....So, I assume that, with GTAO, they will use Casino chips which you can use in the casino games, said chips can't be bought using GTA$, otherwise you could gamble away all your MTX money and not be paid anything, which isn't cool in most countries.

 

So instead, Casino chips will have to be earned by completing games inside the Casino, that doesn't involve gambling: Maybe resupply missions, or even new Business Battles? Something like that.

 

Said Casino chips can be used to cash out on exclusives prizes that comes with the casino like maybe exclusive vehicles or clothes...Or just discounts too, just like Arena War.

They have barely added any supercars over the last two years compared to other models. How many did Arena Wars have again? One. Out of several dozen vehicles. After Hours? Zero. SSASSS? 4 out of 15 were Supers. Also none of them cost over 3 mil.

 

I don't even buy supercars but to say they have been "adding too many" is simply incorrect. Maybe back in '14-'15 but not nowadays.

 

 

 

Well, technically the Scramjet was classed as a Super, but you're absolutely right. The variety of vehicles they have added for the past couple of year is phenomenal, even if some of them turned out to be sh*t.

Thanks to that addition, we've had exactly one truly enjoyable non-weaponized car (Schlagen GT) since the dripfeed release of the Comet SR on 28 Feb 2018.

Well that's pretty subjective (I know goes without saying). 

 

I know many folks including myself who have thoroughly enjoyed many of the cars that have the flags. A lot of players have no idea they even exist.

Yeah, people act like cars with flags are genuinely broken to the point to where they are completely undriveable. I don't know what that's all about but considering the massive backlash IV received about its driving mechanics and how "unplayable" or boaty it was (complete and utter gibberish, I'm sorry), it shouldn't surprise me. Introduce any sort of difficulty (and yes flags are bad but they're not as bad as people make them out to be) and people lose their damn minds. Smh. I don't care if this update has flags, but I hope it doesn't so I don't have to endure reading endless pages of bitching about how someone flew off the side of a road for the 20th time.

Deveste 8 is an example of flags done right. Now if Rockstar would just add D8 to every other vehicle. It would be great also schelagen gt is also a good example of no flags in cars.

Complaining aside, I hope whatever they add with the Casino doesn’t handle like the Itali GTO or the Nova ripoff, just because I’m assuming we’ll get a few land-yachts. I want something that feels massive and handles like an old luxury car that can eat curbs up.

The Itali handles fine, it rides bad, handling wise it drives like my Bestia with 200 or so more hp. If they fixed the flags on it it would be one of my ultimate favorite driving cars. But sadly the way it bounces on uneven pavement makes it not my first choice.

 

I'd like a 488. But Im with you, more luxury cars. My Windsor is getting lonely. And old luxury does need to be done and done right.

Advanced Handling flags are just a sign of r* incompetence in dealing with curb boosting and mid drive speed boosting from using the hand brake. I never played a real racing game that the handBRAKE made you speed up lol. Or running over bumps. If they are designed for racing why not simply disable them in freemode. They disable the weapons of some vehicles in racing aswell as the KERS boost so theres no excuse. Just enable advanced flags for every car in races, but disable them for every car in freemode. Easy breezy, but r* is more worried about how to squeeze more shark cards out of lil kids than to make the game more enjoyable in general. Any racing game that has catch-up as a default option is a joke anyway. You can curb boost to 1st place just to be slowed down intentionally, but yeah lets add advanced flags to make cars slower and/or handle awkward. R* logic strikes again smh.
