Supercars is probably the 2nd biggest class and the most played races. Unless they're super op, they won't affect anything. And the most expensive super is like what, 2.4 million correct? Not exactly 5 mill.

 

(And I think a new 488 and Zonda should be in the sports class)

That's not going to change any time soon though!  Cars are going to continue to be expensive even muscle cars are expensive

That's also why I don't mind the dripfeed.  Gives me time to grind a bit.

At this point of the game, there's not a big difference btw the price of a sedan and a super car! xD Each one have it's price inflated.

What i notice in this game is a lack of new sport/super bikes and even more compact cars. I know that what sells is sports and supers, but if given a tuning touch, manyh people would buy them, like that blista:

P.S.: I think (and i hope) in this update we will get the normal version of the zr-380 (?) i don't remember the name correctly. And the Rx-7, zr-350 from gta sa.

Super cars are a hot ticket item in any update, and there's bound to be at least one. I think they're something that many people will grind for especially if they're competitive, and people will buy them no matter the price. Hell, I've seen a surprising amount of people driving around in a Tezeract and that's a 3 million dollar car (which is horrendous to drive btw). 

 

As many other people have mentioned, all cars are expensive nowadays, even muscle cars and SUVs are breaking the $500k mark and that's just how things are going to be unfortunately

It’s not illegal in most countries and the game is already age restricted

and to say that rockstar has started to include less supers is not so true.

 

every update still gets atleast 1 super car. it's just that rockstar now also includes different car genres in the updates.

the game is rated M, also they will just lock the countries that can't gamble like they do in RDO.  furthermore a reputable member/code digger/leaker said we would be getting poker, black jack, roulette, and slots.

It probably took them this long because they had to sort out how they could add gambling without being in hot water, but they will most definitely add real gambling into the game. Red Dead Online has real gambling, they just had to add a second currency into the game, which is what I think will happen with the casino

I don't want to make people feel that i'm being arrogant, but it wouldn't be better if the discussion about car performances (excluding which cars we would like to see in the update), handling flags, meme vehicles, toke place in a more appropriated thread for it? With all the hype of this dlc just because of it, we need deal with N pages a day that many can't keep following and lost track, i think we should not spam even more with secondary discussions.

Those are by Lucas Daniel, though he goes by @SilentSoul21 on the forums. There's an entire thread in the Community forum where he shares his sketches, and he's got a lot of good ideas.

I expect one or two ugly overstyled supers depending on the general amount of cars we get. I expect 1-2 quality supers, based on something normal people with taste requested like a senna or aventador, etc. I expect quite an amount of sports, and this being luxury update and hopefully the theme follows suit, a few sports sedans, a few luxury sedans and a few luxury suvs. maybe even a new addition to the coupe class.

If you people want me to be honest, which hopefully you do. This update is definitely not coming out on June 27th, that date is honestly way too close to for comfort. We have less than 35% of information on this update gathered, and we are literally making assumptions of the update coming out on June 27th?

That simply doesn't add up, sorry. I like the concept, it's tremendous, but this update probably isn't coming until July 16th to July 28th.

first of all RDO is successful, while not huge it wasn't a failure, also there has never been a decision to add something to a game because it isn't popular, like ever.  as to the heists, you lost me, they aren't like gambling and do already exist in those countries.  plus it's as I said, a leaker leaked the 4 games it's going to come with, whether or not we see a new currency remains to be seen.

The super cars have been toned down but inflated over the years. The entity xr beats the entity mk2 or xxxr

To your first point: adding a second currency is exactly the same point I made. It makes the most sense to me. Yeah the stakes probably won't be high, but no one should go into a casino expecting to make it rich every time. I disagree that they would have figured out gambling a while ago and just didn't add it. I'm sure they had to jump through a lot of hoops to make this work from a legal standpoint. They tested out gambling with the wheel in Arena Wars, implemented poker in RDO to see how gambling will work on a smaller scale, and they've now used that knowledge to make it work in GTA. 

 

To your second point: RDO not being popular as GTA has nothing to do with whether or not gambling is able to be done in game. It worked in RDO so quickly because they were able to implement a second currency from the start of the game, which opened the doors to allow gambling. Now they've seen how two currencies work and I'm sure thats what they are going to do with GTA. Some countries might not be able to gamble based in their region but they aren't going to completely exclude gambling for everyone because if this. What's the point of finally adding the casino into the game if we can't actually gamble?

you are basing this on the lack of leaks?  that by no means is a metric by which to measure a potential release date.  Arena War had zero leaks, somewhat surprisingly actually.

The Casino update will have gambling, just as RDO does. And no, RDO can't "get away with it" because it's less popular, it's still a hugely popular game regardless. Being more or less popular doesn't omit you from laws lol.

 

They have barely added any supercars over the last two years compared to other models. How many did Arena Wars have again? One. Out of several dozen vehicles. After Hours? Zero. SSASSS? 4 out of 15 were Supers. Also none of them cost over 3 mil.

 

I don't even buy supercars but to say they have been "adding too many" is simply incorrect. Maybe back in '14-'15 but not nowadays.
