what is it with you and cells?

GTA doesn´t use "cells", they use MLO that means outside of interiors nothing gets rendered except there is a "portal" like a window or door.

The teaser was released on the 25th of June.

 

The actual trailer was released on the 19th of July.

I'll respectfully disagree with you on all of this.

 

1) 30 players in the session can own the same stilt house and roam the yards and balcony of the house, and even then there the 4 Hangman Ave mid-level house with a pool that we share with NPCs...So, players sharing the same house is not a creative hindrance for R*.

 

2) Mansions are much more about the interior than the exterior, and the access for interior can be regulated/controlled by the owner. 

 

3) Missions that uses said mansions can just be disabled/deleted...And even then, there's quite a bunch of mansions still unused in the Rockford Hills and Vinewood Hills area. Also again, this is not a creative hindrance for R* since players can own the Facility where a airplane crashes for a CEO Special Crate buying run.

 

REMINDER: Contact Missions are set in 2013, this has not been changed at all, so we could still do Contact Missions in the mansions that we own, all R* has to do is disable the interior corona, which they already done for some businesses in these contact missions.

 

Only real problem would be Dispatch and Repo missions

 

With all of this being said, I don't think mansions will be featured in this update at all, just hunch here but I think we will see Penthouse Suites in the Casino instead.

The only way it could work out is if they make it like yachts, you get to have a different mansion in every session.

Good points, though I don't feel R* would care about a car being delivered next door or something given their keen desire to see us 'compete' but the idea of adding outdoor activities to a mansion and those being disrupted would be a bit too much and don't feel is worth the effort as such.

 

Personally, I think mansion, I think huge garages or showrooms, lol. And I'd love a pool table. Those are why I think mansions would be cool.

 

But I'd settle for the table in the Yellow Jack Inn and buying all the old apartments and garages.

Well thats what happened with the real life inspiration for that building. But I would be rly surprised if thats what they planning to do. Tho Mile High Club building could work pretty well for casino theme.

When that trailer dropped the first think I said was that this dlc will be smaller than we expected cause they kept showing the same mission over and over again but no one believed me at that time...

Lets wait and see what they have for us this time. I just hope they have something more than couple cars, the casino, 4 minigames and thats it

I still think they might use Bahama Mamas for a mission or two. Especially now that they can reuse props and animations from AH to finish it

Great points, I forgot about the stilt apartments. 

 

And I own that facility at the dam. Don't think that job spawns if I'm in/near it but sure I've had it since the facilities were added.

Amazing suggestion, I thought about this as well.

 

In fact, make the Chaffeur drive our own cars, I have about 10 luxury 4 door cars that I don't use as I think they are better suited to chauffeur me instead of being driven by me.

 

My Windsor Drop(which I'm seriously considering to sell to buy the Windsor coupe again), Schafter V12 LWB armored, Cognoscenti armored, Super Diamond, Raiden, Baller LE LWB armored, XLS Armored and at least 8 more SUVs...All gathering dust because in general I don't see the point in driving those vehicles.

Must say, I've enjoyed reading much of your speculations over this spell since we learned of a casino theme. To see so many ideas is awesome as I'm sure if we can yhink of much, R* can too.

 

Weather it lives up or not will probably be forever debated, but the potential is huge and makes pre-DLC days that much better.

When that Trailer dropped everyone was obsessed with the pounder custom because how it was ramming things like a freight train. 

 

 

 

Then everyone bought it and upgraded it believing it was the ramming beast it was shown to be only to be disappointed asking themselves what the f*ck is this. 

 

 

It don't help that rockstar kept hyping it on the guest list login rewards.

There's a minimal radious of proximity of any player in the session when starting any free roam job related to CEO or MCs, so indeed that mission won't spawn if you're in a Terrorbyte and starting that mission there...Or any player is nearby that facility.

Well, what's to say that some mansions (or yachts) can't be illegal gambling dens, offering their owners and customers a greater reward but a greater risk than a corporate, regulated casino?

 

Also that would be quite a shrewd statement by R*, given that gambling in online games is itself becoming something of a legal grey area IRL
