Next DLC Speculation Thread Mk VII

Un-related to the next DLC but it's really interesting discussion until we get some actual details about the next DLC.

Mansions, people think I have some info about them on twitter of which I reply back by saying I don't.

Here's the thing, the whole point of mansions is to have that huge big area outside of your mansion.

You want to have that unique feeling of owning a huge area just for you and your friends, but imagine if every god damn player own the same mansion as yours.

It will lose the feeling of being unique or super rich. More to that, some missions make use of some mansions. It will be awkward to see some dude deliver his car to your mansion.

The only way it could work out is if they make it like yachts, you get to have a different mansion in every session.

You raise a good point. I think this is the reason why we dont have active balconies in the game. OR they can make it so that you're not actually "outside". Once you walk towards the gate you will get a loading zone, teleporting you outside. Then you're in your frontlawn/backyard, you will not see the actual world outside. You will just see a simulation of the world outside. So when another player lands your helicopter, you wont actually see this, unless you walk outside of your entire lawn triggering a loading zone. It would be like an invisible dome arround your house, while inside you dont see other players, and they wont see you, nor can they attack you. Once you walk outside of your yard, you'll trigger a loading zone, puting you back on the streets were everyone can see you again.

But thats what we all asked for didn't we? We complained about the silence for months and months and said that we just want to know the theme so we can speculate and R* delivered

Thats probably the reason why they stay so silent all the time... they know that hype dies very quickly if you announce something months in advance.

Good point. I can see two ways of doing it:

A - mansions without that huge area outside. Something like this:

B - mansions on small private islands that work exactly the same way as yachts (+ those underwater lairs you mentioned before)

The solution? High-end motorhomes! 

 

Of course they would need antiaircraft missile launchers, side flamethrowers, landmines and submarine capabilities.

Do you guys think Rockstar will knock it out of the park with this new dlc? I'm hoping so. I have faith in them. They're one of my favorite developer studios and I trust them. As long as they get the Casino aspect right I'll be one happy camper.

I was thinking yesterday - what if, Rockstar wants to troll us a bit? Yes, they will add the construction props near the real Casino, but what if they will build it in the Construction Sites? Either in Los Santos or in Paleto Bay. Just a speculation.

and it won't look fancy if it's paired with weapons. and also, yeah we need amphibious mobile base where we can control all of business we own and also start some missions or small heist inside

After Hours was delayed. Just an fyi. Every single source here has also been directed toward late june to early july and it still hasmt changed.

All they need to do to make this DLC for me is to add Super GT (with few modifications ofc, don't make Cognoscenti again ffs!)...

All I want rn is more IV cars, because we are slowly reaching the end of GTAO and we still have about 70 cars stuck in LC... T_T

the hype is like a drug that keeps us grinding money for DLC

27th is the expected release date according to the prop leaks but delays are always possible. Like remember july 17th being the original release date for after hours according to the guest list leaks but it was delayed to 24th?

Or when the heist took about 2-3 years to make it to online after rockstar kept pushing them back?

Can we just please have chauffeur if not mansions?

I'm sure we all have atleast one luxury vehicle, LWB vehicle which should be seated on the back...

Chauffeur could work like taxi drivers.

 

Oh and, Piro's solution to mansions are great. I'd grind all day to buy that stuff.

I got no problem with that as all we do is speculating here. The After Hours trailer got published a month before the dlc dropped. Just saying.

Heists were teased in the first gta online trailer in 2013 but they were actually released in 2015 lololol

Yeah, good call. 

 

It's a bit like The Simpsons/Family Guy or a Game of Thrones (bloody Ed Sheeran, lol) or something like that. The game/franchise is huge within the gaming community and I can only imagine some musicians love to smoke it up while playing whatever, Premier League football players are often seen playing games like Fortnite (apparently one of the main things my England team did during their downtime during the last world cup too).

 

Same with The Simpsons for a long time, or Family Guy. So many celebs just love the shows and are more willing/keen to get involved. Of the 4 DJ's the nightclub gave us, it really did feel to me that The Black Madonna really enjoyed being involved.

 

Of course, could be a coincidence that she plays Stepping Out and that she's just relishing the exposure, but I feel she wanted to be involved as much as see a potential to grow her career. 

 

Would be fun to find out who likes their GTA, lol.

The construction props in front of the Casino leads me to believe that they aren't just opening the Casino, they are remodeling it.

 

Plus R* has already showed from time and time again that they do not care about the interior of buildings to match the exterior, so all they have to do is change the "Casino" lettering for "Hotel and Casino".

 

They also don't need to make the building 100% accurate to the real life building. 

 

Plus the place is near a highway on the outskirts of the city, right in front of a bus stop, so the place is already perfect for a hotel.

I respectfully disagree.  you could have a blue corona outside the gate and make the grounds it's own cell, you wouldn't be able to interact with the session, so another player in aircraft wouldn't be able to interact with you and vice versa, but I would take that over having my mansion change location every session.
