Next DLC Speculation Thread Mk VII

Ok here is predictions on how it's gonna go down-

Initial setup is gonna be a similar deal to Nightclubs. A character is gonna introduce you to the Casino, which you are going to buy a share of, or go into business with the person. It will be fully customizable inside, visually of course, and you can choose which games you want. You can do missions to unlock more games or slot machine types. There is gonna be some sort of passive income based on how many people are in your casino, much like Nightclubs. No ties to old businesses though.

 

Games include Poker, Roulette, Blackjack, Slot Machines, some special games similar to the arena war wheel, and horse race betting. All games are multiplayer obviously. The horse racing has you watch TV screens in the Casino which show a horse race on the track outside (which isn't actually there cause GTA logic). 

 

The parking garage isn't where you store your car, but when you drive in you will see a elevator that lowers you down to your personal garages, which are visually customizable as well.

 

There will be some sort of separate currency added, in order to gamble. This is what they tested with Arena Points. It's gonna be limited per day and amount as well. Most people are not gonna a get rich off of gambling, much like real life.

 

The cars will be full of highly requested vehicles much like the last few updates. Many more movie reference vehicles. They are gonna add more liveries for existing cars. Also some cars that were very highly requested will show up in the dripfeed. Dominator Classic, Comet Classic, etc. 

 

New radio station and trophies will get added.

Doubt they are gonna add that after they already made the Vigilante tbh. Its back end was clearly inspired by the Tumbler.

 

But yes there are many legal reasons why the actual car can't be added.

All of that sounds plausible and I hope to be true. However... considering how they handled this with nightclubs, literally dripfeeding us liveries instead of cars and really having them in place of what couldve been cars. I personally hope not. If theres one thing I wish they did its fix existing cars that could have interiors painted but for some reason didnt make it to launch even if they were literally advertised with interior colors... think you know which cars that was.

 

I will never for the life of me understand why trim colors isnt standard on all dlc cars. Its 2019. Its just lazy not to have that option.

Copyright, Warner Bros has the creative rights to the car.

 

Regardless, the rear of the Vigilante is pretty much the Tumbler already.

I hope they add really luxurious and expensive cars like the cullinan so as other fellow forum user said we can creates plates such as URPOOR or RICHA$$, a lot of grinders have millions waiting make it happen rockstar (and please vapid Uranus too)

I've been thinking a lot about this.

I have similar thoughts as well on this dlc, but with minor discrepancies:

 

-I think the Casino will not have any business attached to it, it will be just a penthouse room + garage you can buy which then grants access to the High Roller tables, pretty much like the Arena War itself...Out characters are done with the illegal businesses anyway. 

 

-I don't see them adding another radio, unless it's San Andreas Master Sounds FM, but even then I don't think the majority of players will actually care about it.

 

-There won't be meme vehicles at all, except for a single one which will be downright broken and will effectively turn the OP Mk2 useless.

 

-Horses....I don't think so, unless your suggestion for the horse-betting TV involves them using RDR 1 cutscene footage, like that Capolavoro movie.

Oh rest assured, Rockstar will disappoint many here with some daft decisions. There will be cars that are messed up in one way or another. There will be a massive dripfeed until Christmas I'm sure. There will probably be an OP vehicle or weapon. Everything will be super duper expensive. The games won't be good enough for some.

Meh all that can happen, as long as theres two or more things I end up driving a lot like Arena Wars I'm happy. Best update, it takes more, but much less for me to be happy. They could make us run a Burger Shot and serve customers but if theres a cullinan in there, 8/10 update

I expecting that this wont hit until mid to late July. We know there will be 3 more weeks of cosmetic changes, so why not 2 or 3 weeks aboard the hype train after that?

I don’t think either we will be able to own the casino itself and i think your idea is cool but where would be the penthouse ? I would totally agree if this was an Hotel & Casino, but the casino in LS (and the one in LA) is just a casino with no hotel or building attached to it to have penthouses (or suites), unless you mean having this penthouse not in the casino’s area ?

uhhhh we only know of cosmetic changes this thursday and next thursday, that's it. Multitude of reasons why it coming on the 4th or after would be just odd. I expect 4th at the latest, the Thursday after if they really didnt get their sh*t together or pull some hype campaign out of their buttocks

Looking at the Arena War spectator box, I could see the casino having some sort of VIP lounge that's set up a similar way. A big fancy room on an upper floor (maybe this is the part we own?) With a bar and lounge seating. Maybe a private poker table for friends and associates?

I am wondering if the presence of construction supplies is an indication the Casino is about to change in a major way.

This is possible.  I was thinking maybe they add a floor.  But really, RS doesn’t really care about interior and exterior matching up.

I highly doubt. With major aesthetic exterior changes/additions, there would be tons of scaffolding surrounding the structure and maybe a crane or two. Unless they add that stuff by the 27th... I really doubt it. Right now it just looks like, honestly, minor interior adjustments and restoration.

I'd say that's overthinking it. The props were chosen because they were easy to place. Not because they chose them to show what kind of construction is going on. 

 

I mean, it's not like there was all of a sudden giant tractors and stuff digging holes for the facilities.

The Casino is a big building. Doesn't take much to fit in a living area for us. I definitely think there will be one.
