What are you on about? They brought enough QoL updates over the past years. What game are you playing? And ofcourse does QoL sell sharkcards. Who would buy in-game currency on a game that's not optimized via little QoL updates? All of those little things do add up to complete an entirely playable game.

How do you think a 6/7 year old game like GTAO still brings in millions of dollars? That's right, Updates and QoL changes.

If you make updates to sell sharkcards only, you won’t have any players left after the third update. Mixing both is the right formula imo. 

 

+ they do QOL improvements each updates (small or big, it’s still a fact).

Of course it does, lol. 

 

If a player logs on and isn't sure yet, like most noobs could easily be with the overwhelming amount of content to a new player here, they should start small if they do buy cards to minimise losses if they end up disliking it.

 

If they like what they see, they buy more potentially. If the game is a broken mess and they quit, no more cards can be sold to that customer.

 

And an old game at that needs more care than a new one if to keep up and appeal to today's market too.

This couldn’t be further from being right, I hate when people take the high ground and say “why is this hard for people to understand” as if people are lacking common sense when they are in fact wrong 

Also I can guarantee you there will be QOL stuff in the next update so let’s end that there

I'd rather the whole system get a rework but don't foresee it, but adding ways to get AP quicker is gonna be an easy positive for me. 😁

This makes sense.  Keep in mind every update includes bug fixes.  So RS does do both.  But you will never see update centered around QOL.  What sells cards are: 1) new things to buy; 2) new activities to do (often behind paywalls).  We may be saying same thing.

With R* adding a new feed back site, this is the first DLC since and many of us are hoping R* does a little more than remove glitched outfits or fix money glitches.

I understand a little bit better now xD I was lost wondering what that acronym meant. 

 

 

 

I do hope they don't fix the CEO office telescope glitch as messing around adding hats glasses and masks to the character is harmless. 

 

If they should fix something it should be god mode and money glitches and glitches that makes the game unplayable.

 

Also nerf the damned jets.

that is if they actually add gambling. god i hope i get me some slots. i wanna gamble without any skill or brains required.

I don't think any outfit glitch has ever hampered a job I'm on at all TBH. I don't get why they don't add many to the stores or as VIP options in the inventory when a CEO/biker. 

 

Seems to tick every box. Popular, requested, stops people looking up how elsewhere (exposing them to more) and more importantly for R*, would sell well, possibly increasing the odd card sale. (Though just the one outfit is less likely to be considered a card boom, lol).

Yeah but rockstar has a track record of being fun gestapos. Patching harmless glitches like the launch into the air glitch and deleting harmless outfits like the cops and garbage men uniforms we were able to copy from when adversary modes were first introduced.

Nah I've tried the tattoo shop launch glitch years ago and it was patched.

 

 

And I think (not sure) they patched the creator mode glitch that had you dupe birds so you can try to get the IAA badges.

They dont fix those glitches because "F you, players". They patch those glitches because it brings stability issues to the server. Clipping our of bounds with tanks can cause mayor lagg to the people surrounding the player. If a glitch is totally harmless against players or the server then R* could care less. A lot of wallbreaches still exist, even when they included deathbarriers. 

The beach launch glitch with the boathouse and the tank still exists btw.

Wall breach should definitely be patched. Because people use them for the wrong reasons. While I can agree with you that launch glitch can bring destabilization to the game. Most people who tried these glitches did them on private lobbies with friends who were also doing them. I understand why they patched it. But some people miss the days where we could just go in private lobbies and have fun with glitches like the launch one.

Pretty sure my garbage man outfit were pretty harmless against both players and server, same with my paramedic outfit, have a lot more but I think you get my point :)

Belittling other players because you think you're always right is not fruitful discussion.

 

As everyone else has said, QoL changes absolutely sell shark cards. Who is going to keep playing a game that is frustrating to play? Last update they shortened the cooldown time for calling your personal vehicle and people went nuts over the change because it improved gameplay for a lot of people.

 

Secondly, no one that I've seen is asking for an update just centered around QoL updates, they're asking for content updates with accompanying QoL changes. Is that so wrong to ask for improvements to the game?
