I hope they do some west side story type stuff with the outfits looking like 50s and fancy monster type clothes. Also the idea of areas around the map up for lease would be dope but I just wonder how it would fit in the casino theme.

Maybe they will stop releasing content for the old gen just to give us better updates for PC and next gen? Maybe they will bring back animals, add some reshade mods similar to Redux?

edit: there are also reshaders that cause no performance drops at all so theoretically they could add those even now

You’re kidding right? You don’t find it weird to rerelease (a probably 8 year old game at that point) for the 3rd time? face it they’ll end this current GTA online at the end of next year because it just makes sense. It seems like they are slowing down updates. Probably for a reason.

I said a good while ago that they could switch gta back to Tuesday when a update comes so the game with the latest update has Tuesdays as release and tunable day. Why do that? I really don't know because it really doesn't matter imo  

I also think Thursday is most likely but it's not written in stone imo 

 

 

 

Didn't know they changed it to Thursdays before must have been during the months I didn't play at all. If it wasn't for RDR I would think it would be Tuesday but seems like a lot of hassle to switch up the days of both games. They could even do it on Tuesday and have the event week end early.

Who said anything about rereleasing it for the third time? backward compatible means that you can run old games on the current gen, right? I wouldn't know, I play on PC.

I didn't say that they will do it, I just said that they could keep going until gtaVI is announced. But you probably right. 

Also didn't they rerelease resident evil 4 like... 20 times by now?

I worry about one thing. Advanced handling flags. I really hope none of the (probable) vehicles in the casino update will have them but I'm also pretty sure I'm about to get disappointed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They will lol. Dont even expect them not to, maybe there will be a few without them like the schlagen but trust me, no matter how quality the car looks or performs normally, it could 99% likely have flags

If they choose to inplement the player feedback in this update, they might, otherwise they will stay were they are...

I’m just saying they’ll probably stop updating, not that you can’t play the game on the new console. It doesn’t make sense to keep updating on old hardware. It just seems like a good stopping point. I mean they can’t keep going forever. 7 and a half years would be a good enough run. But that’s my opinion.

well take it from me, if you get temp banned for something stupid that someone else most likely instigated, that kind of leaves a bad taste in your mouth about a whole site.

R* like to make a song and dance about their updates to GTA Online, but we've never had something like what the Casino has had before were there are in-game updates prior to an update. The closest we've had to any pre-update buildup was The Guest List last year, and even then, that was more just a bunch of login bonuses.

 

Given the last couple of weeks/months surrounding the topic of monetization in gaming drawing attention from the US Government, have we considered the idea that R* might not focus this update so much on the Casino opening up and letting us gamble potentially GTA$ including Shark Card money, but more on the (possible) fact they're making a huge sandbox rebalancing after updating the feedback system?

Sony said PS5 would be backwards compatible with ps4 and you can also play with your friends that still have ps4 iirc. Maybe that's a given since it's backward compatible..
