Casino huh? Maybe a heist ala casino heist from SA? If it´s another lame property aka business, it will be sh*t. Or even worse, something like arena wars with random unlocks and sh*t like that. If it´s just a place where you waste money and time, it will be even more sh*t than stilt houses. Hype level at zero for me.

So probably there will not be a new casino like some people were especulating. Like rebuilding the current one. If they toke the park security gate maybe is bcz we will be able to park there our cars. So, the building will be the same, it makes perfect sense.

Hey, by the way, you or @Mach1bud what you guys think?
1) It will be the same gambling system of RDO? (Which some players will not be able to gamble?);
2) If the answer is yes, will at least be there some games that everyone can enjoy? Like slot machines? (We have already arena war wheel and everyone have acess, so...);
3) If in RDO you can't gamble real money, by betting golden bars, it doesn't seem like that there's any problem with "gambling issues" in fact? It was just R* being lazy, like they did saw the list of countries with more strict gambling laws in wikipedia and said to themselves: "ok, so...probably even the players of this countries would be capable of gamble and we wouldn't get in any kind of legal troubles, but...playing safe...f* these players!".
4) Do you think that the Casino will be just a "npc casino" and what we will have are some minor underground establishments of "ilegal gamble" of various types?
5) Is mansions a possibility in this update?

Not really, I don't remember saying anything like that.

What I did say is that there was a casino heist at the end of Trevor's episode.

If there was supposed to be more than one casino, why would R* limit the construction props to Vinewood Casino ?

I hate to be a dick and pull out an almost 5 year old quote (considering how valuable your knowledge has been to the community), but I know for a fact you DID say more than one casino.

 

That's of course not to say we will get 2 or more in the upcoming Online update, but this is just one of those gems I definitely remember from your old SP DLC leaks.

Okay about gambling it was prohibited in our country, but i see a lot of local online gambiling website and they use real money too.

Oof but I doubt R* would add another one. Maybe back then when a SP DLC was supposed to happen they are usually more ambitious.

For what is worth, 

 

IRL the Hotel in Rockford Hills (the one in which we pick up English Dave) is a Hotel & Casino, also the one near the airport. But that’s for L.A, in the Gta Wiki, only the one in Vinewood is registered as a Casino.

I think it's only going to be the one casino imo. And actually im ok with it. I think it will be just like the arena as far as the layout..couple garages, your own customizable "space", and a shared casino floor with other people. I could see having a contact and we have new missions. Interesting thought, what will be the overall purpose of the casino besides gambling. Will it be another business like nightclubs, or a grinding type, that has me intrigued. I'm also hoping the "space" we will customize will have a large selection of things to choose from. I would love to have themes such as modern, asian, etc. 

 

 

On a different note, when we started finding out vehicles from AH, the concept of the mule being a japanese style truck with lots of lights and cool designs came up. I still want this! I never saw that before and now it's on my wish list. I could see us getting something in that regard, just like how we got the disco bus in AH

If this is added, R* will make it as if you are driving drunk, just without the blurriness. 

 

 

 

I had a thought about the lottery tickets in game. I think they may be sold at the casino and convenience stores. Now that the convenience stores sell them, thats why the amount gained from robbing them pretty much doubled... due to them having more "revenue" from lottery sales. I think the most expensive ticket wont be a bank changer if you win as well. And for the casino, if you win whatever game.. lets say slots... the largest amount would be capped somewhere around like 100,000.

If that's the case would that also mean we won't be losing much in the process, I mean without big wins there really isn't any way to spend mass amounts to drain our accounts right?

 

Also hope they don't rig the system to much either, if it seems we never gain I can see people giving up (slots and roulette I mean)

I don't think we lose alot through lottery tickets. I think the chance of winning compared to how much you spin WIN will make it where it's close to evening out. I wouldn't be surprised if its monitored similar to the algorithm used for the "special" crate system or even getting drunk and unlocking the kifflom shirt.

Would be a nice business ff R*added it, maybe do business missions that increases the popularity of your club. The more players you have the more money you'll make.

I wonder if any of the leakers know anything other than the theme.

 

A few of them said to be excited, etc. To be fair that gets banded around a lot. But I have to wonder - the casino alone, is that enough to be excited over? Meh, I don't really think so. It's big news for it to be finally opening, but at the end of the day could easily be a reskinned business with a few neat card games or whatever. So I'm wondering if they know of any of the vehicles coming, or that kind of thing.
