Holy sh*t, woke up this morning and the thread jumped 12 pages and I've spent the last hour catching up. Exciting stuff boys and girls!

 

I think it's pretty cool that Rockstar are teasing the update by letting us see changes to the map in real time. Wish they would have done this kind of marketing earlier!

 

I think we'll see at least something on the newswire (hopefully more than just a picture and a couple words). If people aren't on here or watch clickbait videos they probably have no clue what is happening

Casino DLC confirmed, "Comming Soon" sign is removed, along with the additon to some props at the entrance. Release will most likely be on the 27th, possible announcement today

Question is did he ment the entire update(which figures) or that R* is going full out and make us pay in access of 20mil for just the casino.

 

The yacht was once 30mil? Inb4 they saw the bankbalance wasnt high enough of the playerbase. Maybe the balance is way higher now and they will charge us insane amounts.

On another topic (although related, obviously) - I'm wondering if we owned the casino, what we'd do for business..? 

To tick some boxes for the re-use of existing missions / tasks, we could have promotional missions (ala Nightclubs) - leaflet bombings, blimp advertising etc. Also to rack up business and interest, there could be special promotional races around the horse track in 'jumping vehicles' (Ruiner2K, Arena vehicles, RC Bandito etc.) to have a high-octane steeplechase or something. 

As for the business end of the business, maybe we'd have to back-up our security if the crowds (or rival gangs) start getting riled-up inside the casino itself. Maybe getting money from the casino vault across town to the airport for 'safe deposits' overseas (or other locations - can you say laundering?). And of course, chasing and retrieving said money when the vault inevitably gets raided by rival gangs or the police. 

Not to mention, potential jobs from wealthy casino patrons in the style of 'Rat Race' or the various Gumball / Cannonball Run franchises.

The buy in will never be that much.  They will never price it more than a Megaldon card as this would price too many people out.  And as others said, it isn’t even clear we will own the casino at all.  Would be cool if we could own underground gambling operations, but I have seen nothing to support this.

it will be for the entire update like usual.

 

20 mill will be enough for the most important stuff plus some extras like cars.

 

it's always been like that.
