Final set of changes will happen the week after. By June 27th, we should have all changes applied.

So, two weeks from today? Very curious to see how they handle gambling if gambling is even coming. If it is, I'm also betting on an AP style secondary currency. The real question is, if so, how will said currency be earned/accumulated. Better not be through something tedious like with arena war. Heck, can't they just disallow money obtained via shark cards from being used??

What if you can only bet earned GTA$ and GTA$ bought with Shark Cards is "protected" of being using for betting?

 

I mean, does the game recognizes between earned money and bought money in some capacity?

what I'm thinking now is who is the new Character in this DLC, I mean like Tony Prince in the after hours, Ron in Smuggler, Agent14 in Gunrunning?

indeed, that's a great move! Makes me think that they're actually caring for the next DLC...   In some sort of way to appologize to us for updates like Arena Wars (which is only good for the cars) or After Hours (which could be better). I wasn't hyped for a Cassino DLC, because I don't like playing those games; but this change made me think about it and considering on looking for the things this upcoming update has to offer before dumping everything.

Yep, as far as I know the game recognizes each income.

In the background I'm fairly sure it does. Afaik when someone gets the 30 ban and account wipe when they start over any shark card money they bought should be waiting on their level 1 character.

In this universe where sneakers cost 50k, I'm guessing the best we can do is to buy a share of the casino, IF casino will even be a business for us. If it's a heist kind of a DLC it may not be a necessity. Unless, again, it's like an insider job, where to be able to host the casino heist you have to buy a share to get access to some areas or info that is required to do the heist. In any case I'm quite happy about the premise, having visited casinos near and far from home. Almost could say around the world.

I'm glad that everybody's getting their Casino DLC that they've been champing at the bit over for...jeez, since I joined the board a few years back, at the very least, but I can't lie and say I'm excited. I've been to a casino IRL a handful of times and maybe spent $20 on the floor, gambling's not really my thing. Cheers to everybody else for getting it, though!

 

I'm interested in what cars and meme vehicles are added, mostly. I don't think a mech suit is likely. Bummer.
