I can see the future: this thread is getting locked until the trailer is released, because right now we don't have anything beyond the fact that DLC is not going to be released in the space of 2-3 weeks based on the earlier findings.

To be fair, that thing has a V8 under the hood - and putting it in the vans category could potentially destroy the Vans race class - on the other hand, all the other classes are ruined already, so why not   

 

And IMO, since the Lost Slamvan already is in the muscle category, a stock 'Lost' Slamvan should be there too, with all its Slamvan big brothers.

Talking about vans, i thought when they added regular civilian vehicles, we would be getting the clown van. Sadly this never happened.

You know what would be a cool way to introduce a civilian panel Slamvan?

 

Do a mini-heist on the Lost MC clubhouse and steal their drugs, then sell it for profit. Hosted by Ron, 2 to 4 players.

 

 

Mission 1 - Lost but Found:

Locate a Lost Slamvan in one of the Lost MC warehouses. Kill the security, stealth optional. If stealth is not successful, enemies will spawn on the street. Damaging the Lost Slamvan too much makes it unusable in the Heist. Deliver to apartment.

 

Mission 2 - Wolf in Sheep's Clothing:

Locate specific biker outfits stored in the Lost MC trailerpark, stealth optional. If stealth is not successful, enemies will spawn on the street. Outfits stored in a Journey, deliver to apartment.

 

Mission 3 - Slow Schedule:

Get the time schedule of when and where a Lost Slamvan should come and pick up the drug shipment that the Lost is planning on selling. Schedule is located on a Tugboat south-east from Los Santos. Steal the Tug, deliver it to the docks near the big helipad thing. Enemies spawning here and there.

 

Mission 4 - Spraying:

Go to Davis near Franklin's old house, locate some Ballas spraypainting on the wall. Kill them and steal their spraypaint box. Ballas will come after you in their cute lowriders to try and stop you. Deliver the spraypaint to the Single Player Garage (where you deliver the JB700, Cheetah and so on from Story Mode). 

 

Heist - The Club Score: 

Get in the Lost Slamvan, drive to the Lost MC clubhouse to pick up the drug shipment, act as natural as possible. If 4 players, two of them goes in the back with the drugs. Close the cargo doors and you're on your way. What you won't expect is that the MC leader has asked his buddies to form a convoy around your Lost Slamvan to make sure you get to their expected location. Keep on driving with them until Ron tells you that there's an alley you can drive through in an attempt to lose the convoy. Enemy Lost will come after you, setting up roadblocks with Gang Burritos, Daemons and Technicals, until you reach the Single Player garage south of the police station. Kill all pursuers. Drive into the garage with the Lost Slamvan to make it into a "civilian" Slamvan by 'spraypainting' the Lost MC logos away with black paint (where the game essentially "swaps" the Lost Slamvan to a civilian panel Slamvan). 

Meet at Trevor's temporary warehouse at the train track stations to deliver the drug shipment to Ron, you get paid by Ron from the TPI business, and Ron will move the cargo to a Camper van, driving it to Sandy Shores. 

 

Once Heist is completed, you get the option to purchase a civilian, Benny-able panel Slamvan.

Difference is we can gamble with fake money that we can’t buy with real money in RDO. The only thing they let you buy is gold and that isn’t something you can gamble.

 

In GTAO there is only one currency...money. If there was two kinds I’d say a casino dlc is likely. But since there’s not I don’t have much hope.

Blow up iv if you do 16 minutes you get $46200 and 10000 rp or you can do a playlist of all Repo and complete it in 4/5 minutes...  There is a twitter of fun 2 with detailed information

I hope we get Pegasus storage soon.  both the Patriot Stretch and Turreted Limo are shorter than the Stretch, it would probably need a special slot, like the large slots in the Arena garages and the ones in the facility, but I would love to see a civy version of the Turreted Limo w/o the armor and gun, and since it's shorter than the Patriot Stretch it could be a regular PV.

Of course. I just think the chances of them introducing a new currency this late in the game would be an odd move. I feel like that's something they would have done years ago if it was going to happen.

they added a new ranking system complete with it's own XP system this late, also the TOS was recently updated with language that suggests gambling is coming.

I think poker in RDO was just a test for both RDO and GTA. Introduce gambling on a small scale to see what works and what doesn't work, tweak it, and release it on a bigger scale

Don't GTAO and RDRO share that TOS? It could have just been for RDO and have nothing to do with GTAO.

Socialclub has a TOS, then each Online has their own that you must agree to the first time entering

although to be clear I don't know which TOS was updated, I thought the GTAO one was, could be wrong

It is simpler than this.  You complete casino heist and get casino chips that you can gamble.  Or they could use job points which would encourage people to play.   Question is, if this doesn’t drive SC profits, would they do it?  But the logistics are not difficult.

I know the RDO TOS was updated for gambling for a fact. I don't know if it applies to GTAO too. Can anyone that knows confirm?

They could do this or have us work for a Casino boss who gives us casino chips in exchange for services rendered. That seems way more likely, IMO.

the only argument against the casino is the pc version. it needs to be cheaterproof and if you play on pc you know thats almost impossible. cheaters today can cheat everything without getting caught.

Fair question, but the answer is fairly simple.

 

Put a plethora of expensive stuff in AH and AW with to bankrupt players with very few ways of making money back quickly, (unless your a multimillion multibusiness grinder like myself), go for nearly half a year with no new updates to bore a significant amount of the playerbase.

 

- Then announce a Heist update (which brings the players in),

- based around something people have wanted for years (the Casino, (even if the FB commentors wanted it for the wrong reason))

- with a short release window, (so they can't make money fast enough to be ready day 1),

I'm gonna take your use of the word gambling literally and ask both yourself and anyone else with those hopes; Why? In a game like this that is designed to sell in-game money for real world profit, how could you ever love the concept of gambling either what little free time you can afford to earn said money or your real hard earned money for virtual money?
