Next DLC Speculation Thread Mk VII

One of the only hints we've got so far is that this DLC will be loved by some and hated by others.. I think a casino update would be universally appreciated, it's been one of the longest reoccurring suggestion/wishlist items. A casino heist? Maybe. But owning it as a property or being able to actually gamble in it still strikes me as extremely unlikely.

 

My best guess is either Midnight Club/something car related or more military themed stuff, be it naval or otherwise. Either of the above would be loved by some and hated by others. The case could be made that both car based updates and military stuff have had their respective times to shine.

 

If I had to pick between naval and tuners I would go Midnight Club every time. I/E was nice but it was kind of a tease. Just imagine a massive car heavy DLC that brought all the JDM we've ever asked for as well as a bunch more classic American muscle and luxury cars. Add in WB kits and NOS for all cars, engine swaps and decent clothing and it could be the best GTAO update of all time. They could also squeeze in a Comet Classic and a some modern supers

I agree, i'm between tuners and casino themed dlcs... a lot of ground work is there or was already created via SP or what not. It would be easiest for R* to create a dlc on either theme. Plus, they are both fan requested and IMO fit what GTA stands for.... more then the military or sci-fi themes. 

 

 

 

Another thing I wanted to mention, late to the party of course, is that talking about the after hours trailer... lets not forget that's when we got confirmation the jester classic was finally arriving, and I think that's something everyone appreciated.

BTW I do all my I/E, Gun running and Nightclub sales in public sessions because the sale vehicles of these businesses can't be locked onto, and I just use Ghost Organization in case someone tries to push their luck.

 

But on MC and CEO special crates the Mk2 can still f*ck you up by spotting you in the map with the homing missiles...And that is assuming you're selling in a land vehicle, If you're in a aircraft or boat then you're just a sitting duck really.

I don't consider it an exploit since it is something that should have been in the game in the first place there. I refuse to play on R*'s terms in this one, I'm primarily a PvE player and will not be forced to play PvP something that was designed as PvE especially with how unbalanced it is.

I don't give 2 flying farts what those lowlifes have to say, they call it an exploit yet there they are using and abusing all the possible exploits in ruining other players fun. If it were up to me they would be banned for life for all the sh*t they cause. But sadly it won't happen since that's what R* wants as it makes them money, if they continue like this R* will join EA, Activision, Konami and Bethesda as one of the most hated companies.

 

 

Also I find it unlikely that if it's a Casino update that we will be able to own it, don't see it happening.

I personally think that the casino will be exactly the same as the nightclub but with different additions if we do get it (yes we run a casino). And maybe that image a few posts up is the casino garage (or one of) floors

I really don't see how its unlikely. At this point they can turn literally anything into something you could buy. Even a car dealership

No one can know. Rockstar builds GTA V daily, it's probably associated with the next title update/patch or content update but there's no way of actually knowing what it is. Builds are finished and submitted daily between 6 and 9 PM GMT, sometimes earlier, must depend on the studio that is handling stuff that particular day.

Or you could just have a share in the Casino. That made me remember that gta san andreas mission, where you went to the Four Dragons Casino to get a cut as a owner of it. But oddly enough if it become tecnically our property then, why didn't we got that icon that generated a sum of income like the other bussinesses?
Hey Mac, i don't think you (we) own the entire arena, just one garage inside, if i rembember well the phone call from that girl asking us to buy a garage there.

Just how I feel about it considering all this around gambling that has been going on. But yeah not saying that it's impossible.

My bet is still on June 27th as the release date. Get them young-uns money at the start of the summer. Maybe R* even have a car to release for the 4th of july theme this year. The days line up pretty good for Thursday releases. So maybe a trailer with this dlc... and if so the 20th of June being the soonest. Having Tuesday be RDR day kinda makes it weird to release any news near a Tuesday. They could release something the wednesday before, or nothing at all.

I'm sick of pizza delivery "missions", all the same, all without a soul, all in freemode, missions made only for grinder-maniacs who play the game as a job, and to push normal people to buy fish cards.

I want true contents in terms of gameplay, i want jobs like contact missions, heists, even some versus missions, i used to love that, basically competitive contact mission, a mix between pvp and pve, its a shame that r* abandoned them for crapversary modes.

Can be any theme, just NOT another repetitive postal dude business.

But then again, stuff like that wouldn't be a bad idea in general, being able to do more legal jobs which we could use as a cover for the illegal stuff. Doubtful to see it in Online now but I surely would like something like that in GTA6 Online.

Im making a prediction about next week. Rockstar will announce GTA VI and at the end of the announcement they will leave us with the next DLC for GTAO.

That's clearly not a priority because a lot have already started summer or starting it. If that were the case, I would love this to release Thursday bc then all the good dripfeed could be had throughout the summer vs extending into my semester like late June/July would thus I wont be able to just hop on and play the later stuff.

Hotdog stand DLC. You are be able to buy a hotdog stand on Del Piero Pier, and you'll get passive income. From time to time your stand will get raided, so you'll need to defend your sauce. You can call lester for more sausages though.

I still feel like 20th would be ideal. 27th likely. 4th unlikely. Why 4th unlikely? Because imho unless they plan to launch later than the 4th, itd be better to launch before it because then for a dripfeed week we'll have 4th of july stuff rather than launching with it which would be weird. And then not launching til after the 4th would be weird, just kind of dumb to miss out on that day.

I think they will announce first RDR 2 on PC and then GTA 6 but who knows...
