Well can't see that happen really, being able to create a mode of your own be pretty complex I can imagine. However creating a map for existing modes shouldn't be a problem.

I doubt R* would ever do that, Adversary modes are litcherally the only thing R* has without them they're NOTHING, CANCELLED, FINISHED

I didn't say anything about the business itself being liberating. It's dull as ditch water. I adore the stafford, the rest are meh cos of the flags, like the bouncy swinger. I associate Patriots with Arnie and just laugh. I could never own one. I entered the nightclub to mod it, then went in one more time, and I've never been back since. I've never even heard a single song in the whole DLC because I play with the music off. I walk out of Exceptionalists Way, go next door, upto the office and trigger a sale. That's my only interaction with it. The garages are limited because they are so gloomy, so only white or liveried cars look good in them so I use them as a dump for junk. The popularity has been zero since week once because the supply missions are also mindnumbingly boring.  i said the daily half a mil income was liberating. In so much as each day I was finally earning more than I was spending, which freed me up to explore more of the game. I don't know what liberating means in your dictionary, but I'd say it means what I said it means. Each to their own. I don't do pi**ing contests. The only place I'm competative is on race tracks.

This is very close minded. There are a bunch of great adversary modes. This sheep mentality that "all adversary modes suck" is silly. People have been creating their own "adversary modes" for years that just happen to be made with the race/dm creators because it's the best thing we got to work with. People love them. 

 

All of those "car vs rpg" maps? Adversary modes. Those "climb the mountain with stuff falling down" maps? Adversary modes.

Idk, seems to me based on the props they use, they just use the mission creator.

And out of very few good ones the rest suck, than you have ones that ripoff the good ones and do such a horrible job that it gives the rest a bad name...

That'd be nice, but I'd be amazed if R* used nothing but the Creator itself to have made all of the Advesary Modes in game right now. Maybe a few of the simple Team 1 vs Team B Deathmatch style games.

A (good) Creator would allow us to make them golden. Give any community in-game Dev Tools and they'll come up with modes that R* employees can't get through the bosses.

Endless invite to crapy made AMS and the stupid ones that say they are hacked/mod for extra money that only stupid peeps fall for....

I agree with the second half, but the first half you said that all of them suck. That's painfully wrong.

 

I can think of 5 really good ones from the top of my head.

Entourage, Power Play, Slasher, Beasts vs. Slashers, Tiny Racers, Deadline, Vehicle Vendetta, Sumo, Sumo (Remix), most of the Arena modes, Relay, Offense Defense, etc.

 

I know that's way more than 5 I'm probably missing a few others. Just goes to show that you guys have no idea what you're talking about, I play adversary modes regularly and the lobbies are fairly big.

That looks like fun to me. Similar in a way to Sumo (Remix) with the panels dropping out on the platforms. Adds more to it than just the bumping.

 

Deadline, car darts, the Vespucci Job, (and Hasta La Vista from way back when) are a few others I enjoy too. Basically anything with vehicles to be used to bash about, lol. :)

And yet, it looks more interesting, fun, the rotating floor alone makes it less obnoxious than Sumo and on top of that, it pays homenage to the game's lore.

 

Like I said in another thread: FiveM is made for the fans, by the fans whereas GTAO only has been majoritily(is this the right word) about shark card sales...So it's not mind blowing to see that FiveM has more thought put into the new content additions than GTAO.

 

When was the last time that R* actually based a new game mode or content of any kind based on the games lore? I have no recollection of that at all.

 

Here are some ideas of things that could be put in the game respecting and paying homenage to the lore:

 

-Toe Shoes(the actual shoes, not a f*cking t-shirt);

 

-Droid and Facade phones;

 

-Comet Classic with a Targa top option(San Andreas, Vice City);

 

-The TV show Prison Bitches could be made into a fist fight inside the prison with one team using police uniforms and the other using prisoner uniforms;

 

And so many more ideas that I can't think of right now.

 

I mean seriously, there's not even a single mode in Arena War that was called Blood Bowl...With a, you know, a Bloodring Banger that would fit in like a glove in Arena War.

I remember really enjoying resurrection and dogfight, and the latter was because everyone relied on missile spam and thinks the plane cannons are "peashooters" just because they aren't meme beams

Dogfight is f*cking amazing. Killing your opponents with the machine guns, so satisfying.

When R* added both the Widowmaker and the Unholy Hellbringer, which is funny because in the show both weapons fire bullets, yet in game they fire laser beams.

 

Aside from that, I don't remember any more examples.

Except, it's the video gaming industry. Gamers should always be your target if you want to maintain your playerbase.

Eventually, meeting that 'bottom line' will become obvious even to the more casual gamer and then the 'business' will suffer for it.

I know a lot of businesses that have gone out of business from not caring about there customers... Customer is always right not the company :D Businesses are nothing without their customers

Uhhh no, that's called shoddy business practice and poor ethics. Business is not without values and standards. I don't know why people try to justify things because "it's business" no hun, business is not that simple.

Aircraft carrier would be nice actually. I need more aircraft storage.

 

And to go with it, more weapons, countermeasures, helicopters that are incredibly powerful. Special hellfires that can be guided, have a massive blast radius, etc. Bombs that blow up half the map. That kind of thing.

 

Maybe a new Hunter, where  - if you look at it, you die?

Also any real clues in the code about RC race creator? I'm guessing they don't have to add anything new for that to work since people used glitches to make custom rc races in the past. 

Adversary modes aren't actually part of any DLC, they have their own schedule just like DLCs.

If I remember correctly, some adv modes were mentioned in the files but only released later on like a year after or months after with new DLCs.

RC Race creator is available for devs, and I assume it's ready by now, might be part of the summer update drip-feed.

If we get a filler now, they will probably keep updating for the summer update, so not sure if qabeta is anything to go by now?

The problem is that adversary modes work differently, each one is unique from one another.

Basically, each adv mode has an ID to identity itself to enable custom code that was made only for that adv mode.

If we ever get an adversary creator, R* will make a list of templates like "Hold the vehicle" and let you choose which vehicle, the time before it explodes ..etc

Still, that limit your creation to a lower level. A different solution is to offer you a list of features from several adv modes like dev tools, the ability to choose a vehicle and let it boost after it reach X speed or explode or full stop ..etc
