I think you people are geting hopes too high. As someone explained to me before, this adv. modes will require an update bcz probably it will add new props, if not, they could use what they have in the game and then it would be just a tunables issue, like the simeon missions, but it isn't. So, it will require a update. But if i remember well, never new adv. modes brought new vehiles. This adv. modes will just be to pass the time of waiting until the next update.

if there will be any new cars added with those adversary modes,than i think those unreleased arena war vehicles might be them.

(the congoscenti etc). i hope not since i rather have NEW cars without weapons on them but i'm not expecting much else untill the actual summer update.

Is there a guess as to when this mini update of adversary modes is supposed to come out? I'd wager soon if there's going to be another larger update sometime between June and July.

I'm not sure why you guys are complaining on this upcoming update. It's a small one but R* could leave us without new content for a month or two.

Simeon missions were nice, the bonuses we received were great too, and now we are getting new content even if it's only adversary modes.

This is better than waiting for the summer update without anything new.

i don´t complain.

bc even small updates would mean possible stuff by accident in the files.

like maybe hud icons like with gunrunning and the bunker icon.

 

but what is your guess?

THIS! Certain cars should be hard to drive, but not the way they are now.

 

The Vamos is Nova. It should be stable at speed, it's the turning corners that should make the car roll and it should have traction loss when you just put the pedal to the floor from a stand-still. GTA5 car physics are retooled for people too young to legally buy GTA5. I will hold true to the fact that GTA5 in general is a major downgrade from the physics, car, ragdoll etc of GTA4, but even with this sh*tty handling some cars can still be fun...WITHOUT FLAGS.

 

Remember the Viseris before advanced handling flags? That car was hard to drive. In the sense that I needed to gradually apply throttle and brake before turns etc etc then they nerfed it so the kiddies could just hammer down without consequence.

 

EDIT: Fun2, I'd rather have nothing and enjoy Horizon 4 in peace than have you doting out sweet nothings to the community to build up a hype train for a new adversary mode.

I already clarified my tweet is for the summer update, not this upcoming one.

Let's agree to disagree because it's great to see R* updating us with new content from time to time.

It's not a glitch. They gain speed because of suspension compressions as a result of the car bouncy due to the bouncy flags. Cars in this game have always gained speed over bumps, nothing has changed, the only difference is that the cars bounce more causing more compressions thus increased speed. The advanced handling flags can stay, well the 40000 value can. The rest can crawl into a hole and die, the toe angle flag can also piss off because it ruined the Vamos and Tulip.

 

I will be so pissed if the next DLC drops and the performance of the Clique, Itali GTO, Toros, Impaler, Deveste Eight is altered in any way because they handle great. I drive them all the time, they're honestly not that hard to control... Just don't floor it over bumps and you'll be fine.

 

ETA: So I just read through the last couple pages and basically the next update is dropping this month, it's an adversary mode? Wow. So glad I waited like 4 months for an adversary mode...

Were complaining because almost 7/10 times adversary modes are trash

I'm seeing so many low ranks lately that I'm guessing there are still the same amount of new players in the game but many intermediate and advanced players have left. So I guess that explains why we are getting an update just for advisory modes only a month before the proper update drops anyway and it's been months since the last update so why we need one now all of a sudden.

So, as long as we get new "content", no matter how rubbish it may be, it's better than nothing?

 

Contact Missions were met with praise because, unlike Adversary Modes, we rarely get new ones.

Glitch, bug, quirk of the game engine, my point still stands. It's rather obvious that cars shouldn't gaing absurd speeds by driving over curbs. I hate curb boosting with a passion, but I have how these "advanced" handling flags either bog down the performance of good looking vehicles or make them just not fun to drive unless you're hardcore about racing.

 

At first I actually liked the handling flags, at least in concept, because it meant that R* was looking to fix curb boosting. But seeing how they're basically throwing sh*t at a wall and seeing what sticks (I mean, how many handling flags do we have now?) I lost any hope of R* fixing the problem in a competent manner. I'll rather deal with curb boosting nonsense than with crippled cars, thank you.

I mean, it's not like cars would suddenly become slower, most of them would keep the pace with the top dogs (Itali GTO), would break the class (Tyrant) or would remain slow anyway (Ellie, Deviant).

 

I mean, look at this, the Itali GTO without flags would give the overpowered Pariah a run for its money:

 

 

I honestly don't understand how you guys and gals enjoy driving these cars with suspensions made of Jello, with all due respect.

If curb boosting was eradicated it would kill part of the community in this game... Stunt racers need curb boosting to be able to go through tubes and wallrides without falling and exploding. In regards to the second part, well the Itali GTO without flags is much slower than the Pariah so I ju-

Uh nah we're just saying it means nothing really for most people. I sure as hell wont use it, whoever does more power to them I have nothing against them but I personally could not care less unless they add vehicles. Otherwise same exact thing as waiting for the big update. No change essentially.

The very same community that complained when R* removed bike gliding from the game to the point that R* brought it back, to the detriment of any casual racer in Bike Stunt Races, right.

 

It's like the so called "grinders" that don't want the you-know-what-vehicle nerfed because it makes grinding a breeze, the rest of the playerbase be damned.

 

It's outright selfish not wanting a broken feature fixed just because it benefits you in some way or another.
