Next DLC Speculation Thread Mk VII

Once GTA VI comes out, GTA VI Online will be its own separate sandbox that we'll have to start from scratch in. GTA V Online will probably remain but with no further support. This is my expectation. They're not going to allow character transfers from the old Online to the new, because there are so many modded accounts with so much money. I'll be happy if I can just save my character's outward appearance and copy that (or easily re-create it).

and would make sense for big dlc to reuse old ideas. 

 

as for liberty city 99 percent certain next gta will be liberty and vice with the east coast coming out in 2022-2023. 

 

that based on solid leaks with other things like the ps5 specs and the microsoft clouding thing coming out now. 

 

when old gta 6 leaks suggested this .

When they shut it down I was thinking its because R* is releasing IV on Ps4/Xb1. Didn't really care about the mod itself since I don't play on PC, just wanted to re experience Nikos story again along with the episodes. Already have SA and VC on my PS4 and I still enjoy them to this date, really hope I could do the same with IV someday.

Technically gtao was supposed to be its own seperate entity merely sharing assets with gta. Its was supposed to grow and evolve through time independently from the current gta.  But that was the Golden Age when the Benz was still running things. Its hard to pinpoint which direction they plan to go next.

So you srsly believe that they will copy the city from GTA V to place it in GTA VI? Even tho everyone is sick of it after all those years of playing gtao? 

Nah man, thats would never happen. I think it's gonna be GTA VI(ce city) and nothing else.

I'd hope for us to be able to keep some of our stuff at least.

i dont believe any rumor about gta 6

 

people can create a fake account that pretending to be staff of rockstar.

rumors is all lies and fake. gta 6 aint happening in 2020. it would be come out in 2021 (just a guess)

Hell no, GTAO character models are so basic, homely and lame. I really hope they have a completely new system and design for that so my character dont be lookin like generic guy #18391923828

Maybe it's just me but I don't want my current character to carry over to the next GTA, I want everyone to have a clean slate. Like @ddarko12 mentioned, the current character creation is basic and also 6 years old. I'd hope they've come up with a better creator for the next game.

 

Not to mention having characters carry over from the current game puts new players for the next game at a serious disadvantage. And from a business standpoint it doesn't make sense for Rockstar and shark card sales if players already come into the game with millions. I say new game, new character

I dont know...it can have advantages and disadvantages doing and not doing a carry over of or characters from V to VI.

I would like if at least we could get different body shapes like in RDO, i would also like we could use gyms like we have in vespucci beach or in a hipotetic mansion we own. I would also like our characters learn some martial art skills like we did in gta san andreas...but i guess R* isn't going to do that is this gta, despite the fact that the fight style and physics aren't that great...the IV's one were better. Not to mention that the "stealth" part only work (and not so great) with npc's...not with furtive attacks to other players...you can crunch a bit, butyour character icon will still appear in the map, against other players is of no use.

 

Btw, i'm the only one here that always thought that a Bennys version of this Blista (and not to mention the normal kuruma) would be must appreciated? XD Goodnight!

Don't trust any rumor claiming specifics, but you'd better believe they're working on it. They have to be. Likely started as soon as the "current-gen" enhanced edition shipped.

They've got to be working on something... they're clearly not putting much effort into GTAO.

My best guess is that it could be either of these! RDR2:O, Gta 6 or Bully 2. Just hoping we all get something great after this drought.

I think we might see a return of Benny's. I think adding nitrous to the Arena War vehicles was a test to see if it could be done, and in the future we'll see cars that can have nitrous fitted, with a nitrous upgrade added to preexisting cars like the Sultan and Banshee 900R. I hope like hell it would be like Tuners and Outlaws. We can pop wheelies in muscle cars and have nitrous in the game, albeit for arena vehicles but it's a start.

 There will be no transfer/connection between GTA-online and GTA-6-online.

 

Why would they give u the opportunity to take your fake cash with  you to next gen? LOL... It'll be starting from scratch again and to me that's not a bad idea…

 

But tbh I don't have high hopes for GTA6 happening anytime soon… My estimate will be 2023 for console and hopefully 2024 for PC, but I'm thinking it might be closer to 2025.

And I'm still also anticipating 'Everywhere'... Might have a better chance of that releasing sooner. Hopefully also on the platform currently used for hosting the domain and advertisment aka PC.

 

Our best hopes for new stuff are the RC-vehicules/planes/helis at this time.. It'll create a new dimension within the current map and offer all kinds of opportunities (for races/stuntraces and freeroam activities) without

too much effort from their side. We won't get drastic stuff anymore on this map...

 

But hey, I'm also just guessing… And my hopes aren't very high. Perhaps they prove me wrong. We'll see...

I just want something new to buy. There wasn't 1 thing from Arena Wars, cars or otherwise, that I thought was worth it. The Deveste or GTO would have been nice without the advanced handling flags...

 

I will probably get the RC car and arena on eventually down the line for Benny's but I'm in no rush.

Yeah nitro from AW was just a prototype (only the person using it can see the flame) so I'm sure they gonna work on that so they can add it to other cars as well. But its not gonna be Benny's workshop thats for sure. They need to add more paywalls after all

We will have to buy another property + special workshop + Benny's mechanic and only then they will let you add it to other cars.

Well if you want to experience it again but with better graphics you should start playing on PC¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Its still gonna look better even without additional mods. And It's way cheaper then buying a new console every couple of years.

I believe we will have multiple locations with the next GTA. I would really love to see expanded/updated Los Venturas and San Fierro. Of course though, Vice City would be amazing for a online empire.

 

I still think a map expansion would be a game revitalize for GTAO. It would be a QOL update and all the other things in one.

 

Back on topic: I think the update will land June 27th... which is still forever away. But I feel like if it's this big, and so much work is being put into it, then maybe a trailer or newswire tease the 13th and/or 20th. As for theme, it's really anyone's guess. I think the only thing that can be certain is the left over AW will somehow be used.

I kind of gave up on the idea of a map expansion/additional cities being added. But then again some people thought we would never get more heists (even though they are technically just some James Bond missions lol). In fact, some people thought we wouldn't get a lot of things in this game. But I still think map expansions are the most far-fetched thing at this point.
