Hey guys, I noticed the RDO update is out. I wonder what's in it:

 

Visit poker tables at towns and outposts across the map to challenge your friends to a private, invite-only game of Hold ’Em. Or, raise the stakes and take a seat at a public table, where the buy-ins and rewards are even higher. All poker tables seat up to 6 players, available in 5 locations: Blackwater, Saint Denis, Tumbleweed, Valentine and Flatneck Station.

 

 

You've got to be f*cking kidding me...

 

Let's just hope that after 6 years, we can finally get some game modes like this in GTA Online. And hopefully the payouts aren't completely piss-poor. Maybe this is what we should be excited for, or the unexpected thing we should expect.

The new RD Online update is ok, but for me personally it’s still not enough. Now I really want to see what the GTA Online update is/will bring, let’s hope the 6 month wait means something pretty substantial.

Thank God for RDRO poker. I only had real friends and online casinos to play with up until now. Without this I might have expired from sorrow.

 

Meanwhile, back in 2019 - can I please have some new garage space that isn't set over 3 floors, 2 of which I can't see, or gloomier than a Thai brothel, Mr Nightclub, or set in what looks like the basement pump house of a swimming pool? I'm looking at you Arena garage.

Having said all that, It's probably fair to say that if they ever did give me a giant vehicle warehouse to store all my internal combustion propelled p0rnography, it's entirely feasible that I wouldn't actually go anywhere or do anything again, and just sit there getting nicely toasted and drooling.

I would like to see some new garages that are more aesthetic. I mean the ceo ones are but we've looked at them since 2016. Sonething new would be nice and not in a sh*tty location. Idk about you but i dont wanna store my 2 million dollar in the ghetto or in some underground vault to be forgotten about

call it a guess but think next dlc could be cops n crooks like the beta gta online was to be with cops gangs defending turf etc say that because you had tell me if im wrong seen on a video you had fun 2 finding details for this in the rockstar files not to long ago you have yan 2295 hinting the next dlc will be big plus rockstar love to reuse old content the doomsday heist was unused single player dlc

Well that update to the ToS and T&C's didn't specify which game it applied to, it was a general thing.

I mean hell, with this weird focus on older gamemodes and premium races the last few months, I wouldn't be surprised if the next update is really small but has really unique game design like whippable horse racing.

Yep. We always used legal hurdles as an excuse when it came to the casino ... They have no excuse now lol.

I like that they're making a push against griefing though, that is the mind of attitude that GTAO needs the most.

while players who initiate conflict while in Defensive mode will be instantly pulled out of Defensive mode) and also receive similar Hostility penalties.

 

This could be the solution to passive abusers.

It wasn't a surprise RDO update, they said it would come in spring and it did lol. Unlike GTA, where there has been no announcement at all.

Interesting to is that the "hidden" video on you-tube was in fact for RDO. Something to keep an eye on going forward is if another video is uploaded.. then it's most likely for GTAO.

I think at some point they will add a swanky penthouse, or mansion, with some vehicle storage incorporated into the living space. Similar to bikers clubhouse, or nightclub (The single space by the nightclub). It could be more prominently used as the focus of the property.

We should start a new poll on what theme we think the next update will be. (Mansion, casino, heist, tuners, naval, AW2, Aliens, etc)

I said the same thing after seeing After Hours trailer for the first time...Then the update came and I quickly started to hate it(took about a month but I finally saw how half-assed it was).

 

R* wants griefing in GTAO, it's what drives up Shark Card sales, so I don't see any proper rebalancing of the game through a QoL update at all, and even if it happens I can imagine it being half-assed as well.

I forgot to say this: There's only one thing worse than the advanced flags and that's the toe flag value, god forbid that returns. That value is the whole reason the tulip and Vamos spin out on a straight line.

There is not going to be a QOL update.  You should not get your hope up.

there will not be an update this thursday probably next month rockstar said gta five has sold 110 million copies they right were they want to be now that rdr online is out of beta have two huge games with big maps they can milk for years on next gen yes it has been six months since the last big update but now that rdr online finally out of beta and the pc version of rdr 2 coming this year they will focus on rdr and gta online dlc for the foreseeable future gta 6 should eventually but no half decent leaks have confirmed it best hope is in a few  years rockstar shock us with an announcement bully2  i still think will come purely because yan said it but that was over two years and nothing firm has come out since rockstar have the leg work done now with gta and rdr online and could just release dlc for who knows how long it all in online now fortnite apex even all the call of duty games now are all online only unless this bill in the us goes through which i think there zero chance it will go through  lootboxes might get banned but legal payments  between a customer and supplier  when you know what you pay for no chance this guy a jack thompson deluded

Dude, i think that leak of 2020 being the year of the upcoming of gta 6 is fake. R* didn't say anything and even if it's real and R* come up and say that they will release gta 6 in 2020, tell me how many games of them had their launch dates postponed? Which i think they do that on purpose to do that psychological mind game with us in order for us getting more excited and hyped.

Yeah, that's what I want. There are too many things in this game that make doing things a drag or just inconvenient. Not just stuff with businesses, but for example why can't we pick custom-made jobs without having to back out of the lobby completely or to make a playlist? Why can't we see how much product or supplies we have in our businesses from our phones, or at least the Terrorbyte? Why do certain job types still restrict certain land vehicles, like the APC from missions, or the Dune FAV from off-road races? It's probably a bit of a rhetorical question at this point, but I think you guys can get what I am saying.
