If it is on the 6th of June, I will be disappointed - albeit mildly - if they don't add something in the realm of... I dunno, some weapons that might have been used on a historical 6th of June. Vintage Sniper, or Vintage MG, R*, plz?
I speculate that once it drops everyone will be slightly hyped at the car list but will ignore most of the content added after a week. Like with most recent DLCs.

RDR2 was a success.

 

RDO? Not so much, hence why R* started to backpedal with their Gold Bars and started to actually listen to the community, unlike GTAO.

 

Keep in mind that R* likes to treat both RDR2 and RDO as separate games, even when we all know that's complete marketing bullsh*t.

 

On topic, June? Nice! As long as that patch list brings some great news, I'm excited for whatever the new update brings, aliens, mansions, tuners, boats, whatever.

It's gotta be early June. Its been too long. At this point, I got pretty low expectations. You could lay out the entire car list now and, unless they have serious features and customization (like goddamn engine swaps), I can't say I'd be excited till late June.

Rdo is supposed to get out of beta in late June so there is no way R* will be dropping update for gtao then... it has to be early June so they can focus on marketing rdo later

Alien Invasion DLC! Probably in development since Trump mentioned Space Force idk a while ago.. I see they have these space weapons. I personally only use the Up and Atomizer with a gold tint. But my question is.. 

 

What exactly are those weapons tied to? Dont tell me Arena Wars.. I have faith its something better than that.

About red dead - all I can say is my channel suffers badly doing videos on it. Some of the GTA videos can get really big - not so much with red dead. To be fair though, it is a channel created for helicopters and stuff.

 

Wrong thread for that anyway I guess.

 

If it is doing badly, I hope they can turn it around. Need the video editor, showdown creator, and a load of content to play. Also invite only sessions.

Either that or the reverse could be true. Early June for RDO and late June for GTAO.

I mean, I wouldn't mind getting the Programmable AR or the Heavy Rifle in the game alonside something like an Advanced Rifle Mk II or an AP Pistol Mk II.

Actually, most of the Mk II weapons are based on modern RL weapons; for example, the Carbine Rifle Mk II is based on the Taran Tactical Innovations TR-1 Ultralight (yep, the rifle from John Wick 2):

 

 

And the Heavy Sniper Mk II is based on the Serbu BFG-50A:

The way the whole thing played out.

 

R* prepares and upload event weeks to their servers weeks in advance. The Guest List events were no different.

 

IIRC Fun & Wildbrick managed to obtain the Guest List events somehow.

 

That's how we knew about the Speedo Custom, Mule Custom, Pounder Custom, Enus Stafford & Ocelot Swinger about a month before the dlc came out.

 

We also knew about the exclusive liveries such as the Oh Enus! And For Queen and Country. Alongside the free Revolter & free Nightshark with their exclusive liveries.

 

 

As we all know, nothing that happens in the forums stays secret and it was only a matter of time before every clickbait youtuber started making videos about the Guest List.

 

It wasn't a "sanctioned" leak like the crumbs they used to throw at us every now and then through Yan and R* decided to shut down the whole thing.

 

They started encrypting the files and pulled the plug on the Yan's. They asked him nicely, but I bet they had a C&D letter standing by in case he gave them an attitude.

 

Aside from the stuff Fun finds in the files and the tunables every now and then, we've been dry ever since.

The key is there is no need to create something new - better to remake a well forgotten old stuff with "A+" mark (according to players feedback, of course).

Well, I wouldn't define the Mk II weapons as futuristic honestly... At the contrary, I think they're pretty realistic and cool for a game like GTA V where the standard weapons customization is not that great

Success is not calculated on the basis of sales figures. Just because BMW has sold many cars, people are not necessarily satisfied with BWM. Take a look at the Google Trends. RDO and GTAO Worldwide. Both games are currently pretty bad and RDO even worse.

I choose a nice fully packed QoL update over any GTA online content update any day. Let's all start with some buffs for bombs and nerfs for the meme vehicles. But we all know that's not gonna happen.

I'm ok with this as long if Rockstar keeps us updated with some nice info like they did with Gunrunning. The instagram pictures kept going for 1,5 weeks before the release, and it was wonderfull. I'm not a big fan of surprise updates because their is nothing to keep me hyped for 1,2 weeks straight.

Whatever the update is i hope they utilize the yacht, there is so much they can do with it. 

Naval heists or undersea business heck even underwater mansions(not possible i know).
