Oh I am playing other games now so no money spent lol

Last time I logged into GTA and played for hours was with the merge glitch (which got me to spend a lot of money btw but Rockstar decided to patch that) other than that the game got really stall.

Me and my gta squad recently jumped on the Ghost Recon bandwagon so we are occupied by that for the moment until Rockstar finally realizes that they are being dumb with this whole secrecy and no content nonsense.

Nah I think it will be in June like it usually is. I know they skipped March but I think that the summer update will still stay consistent. At least I hope so anyways.

I think that was a hint...if the dlc was expensive but sh*tty, no one would care to spent money in it...at least for myself i speak...i didn't spent a penny in any AW vehicle (just that muscle car without crazy customization which just cost 350k if i remember correctly). So, probably it will be an update where we'll want to spend the cash = a nice update.

Oh man... I hoped for reasonable prices next, but above all, a smaller DLC... I have no intention of going back to below 5M after the DLC drops (like I did with Arena Wars).

 

I surely will take a step back when it drops.. No immediate buying over here ( like with AW)…

And here's me, a complete paranoid wreck, here's a list of how much money I had fora bunch of updates, bear in mind, no Shark Cards were used here.

Finance & Felony: $7,000,000

Gunrunning: $10,000,000

Smugglers Run: $8,000,000

Doomsday: $20,000,000

After Hours: $50,000,000

Arena War: $50,000,000

 

Currently sitting at: $65,000,000, I did have it at $69,420,000 but then I bought the Cerberus and Sasquatch for funsies.

That's fair, but it's not like there was even a hint of how close the next update is in anything Fun or Yan has said, and with the March update having been skipped the next likely bet is the Summer update, either in June or July. In my deleted comment I stated that what'd be best for this thread and the people viewing it would be if Yan or Fun simply stopped talking about what's to come as if they have any idea, even if they do or not. At least that way people would avoid getting needlessly hyped, the annoying "clues" and "puzzles" would stop and so would the circle-jerk of mods who've been told whatever info lording it over everyone else, playing their own silly games in a poor excuse to get people excited. People will be excited regardless when the update actually drops, and after so many years of having everything leaked in advance, finally having a few good surprises in the twilight years of this game would be better than the nonsense of the alternative.

I think people rather enjoy getting hyped. Seeing a lot of excitement in this topic since the comments from Yan...

 

I say the hype, the puzzles, the hints, etc are all part of the fun. If it bothers you that much then you are free to visit other active topics, such as the B&M.

 

Now I just wish I had anything at all to make a hint out of.

I enjoy getting hyped as well, but I'd rather something substantial to get hyped over than some daft riddle that only exists to mess with people before actually just telling them whats coming. What bothers me about it though is when it leads nowhere, Funs most recent "juicy leaks" nonsense filling this thread with nothing but "gib info pls" for several pages, then turning into disappointment before going back to actual speculation and discussion, which is the whole reason why I visit this thread. Its frustrating to come home and find the usual page and a half of comments has turned into 6-7 pages, only to read through it all and find it is just people begging for info because of one stupid comment made by someone with a history. Seriously, go back to when Fun said that and count how many needless posts there were. Hell, even just count the number of posts that were literally just a pair of emote eyes. I come here to see peoples interesting ideas and thoughts on what might be to come, not over 30 posts of "  " in a row.

@SickBoy What you forgot to consider is that people get excited regardless of whether there's a leak or not.

People hyped themselves every Tuesday/Thursday during March/April assuming there's a update or R* is about to drop new info, you can go back and see people thoughts about naval DLC and various vehicles.

You remembered what I have done a month ago, but the moment I did it, a number of pages appeared so quick the hype died a few days after that.

It only happened once yet you make it look like I'm doing it every week, if I recall correctly I talked about why I made that "post", because I was checking R* behind the scenes so anything could pop up which may be juicy for this thread. Basically, that post wasn't about what info I had at that moment but also what info I may know about in the future.

You assume I was messing around but I bet you didn't consider that I may have been waiting for more info.

One more thing to point out, go back to leaks that have happened in the past. For example, Yan leaks about After Hours featuring nightclubs and business consolidation, people knew about that but the hype died because Yan shared it too early, hype can live for 2 weeks as maximum.

After that, it will lose the excitement and people won't share interesting ideas and thoughts like what you want from them when checking this thread.
