As to RDO example, many forget how buggy broken GTAO was in 2013 when first released.  I would get kicked off sometimes every 20 minutes or so.  People don’t like it, but RDO is still listed in Beta (something they probably learned from GTAO issues).  As for quality of content generally, what “standards”are you using?

I remember very well since I was there however they fixed stuff rather fast. Yeah the Beta was obviously in response to GTAO so therefore it was a Beta aswell by that logic.

 

Idk don't have anything in mind for standards but maybe something like Kojima Prodctions to compare to if we are to compare slow releases between games and standard for releasing quality games.But then again maybe I'm setting the bar too high.

Just compare r* vehicles to r* vehicles. Some are polished and high quality, and some look like low res buckets. Some have full liveries and tons of customization, while others have nothing. Some are plagued by crippling advanced flags, while others dont have them, or are barely noticeable.The recent Jester Classic was so horrible that the outrage of the player base forced r* to redo the model.  Some cars are so bad it doesnt seem r* even bother to play test them before release. R* used to stand for high quality, but have evolved to just another cash grabber company. Mostly because T2 owns them, and greed made them fire The Benz.

 GTAO was not as half as buggy as RDO2 is for months now

You had some good points until you said “crippling advanced flags.”  I am part of the minority here, who, while prefers no flags, think that this is very exaggerated by people on here.  Crippling goes too far.  Otherwise, you raise good points.

Actually I will use 3 vehicles for example. Grotti Itali GTO is a beautiful car with crippling bouncy suspension, due to advanced flags, that makes it nearly impossible to drive in the city under full throttle. The Pegassi Toros is a nice suv with advanced flags that are barely noticeable imo. And lastly the Schlagen Gt has no advanced flags, and is fun to drive. All 3 cars came from the same update but are affected differently by the flags showing the lack of play testing, or a lack of caring about quality, on r*s part.

I agree. As a console player, I don’t know what the numbers are for GTAO players. I’m sure it’s high, but I can’t help but assume each DLC brings back less and less players because everything comes back around to PVP. 

 

If they just focused on player interaction rather than strictly decimating every single thing that breathes, Los Santos wouldn’t feel so puny and barren. There’s nothing to do but kill each other. I’m tired of rolling around and bobbing back and forth. I’m sure they’ve got a million ways to create engaging content that allows you to make friends outside of adversary modes.

If they gave us passive mode lobbies that function like mission lobbies, where friendly fire is disabled, but still able to do job missions. Plus more interactive minigames like pool, air hockey, arcade games, casino, etc. It would be a huge step in the right direction imo. They just turned freemode into a giant DM where toxic players bloodlust is the only thing that matters. They just fly around in military vehicles trying to inflate their kd's and e peens. Chill players are just target practice. Ironically theyre afraid to do dm's that reward you for killing each other. It kills the whole sandbox concept imo.

I recently tried playing Death matches and LTS modes because you know...people there want to PvP, right?

 

I had 3 matches with one time more than just one. After that I gave up because obviously nobody plays other game modes.

 

I'm gonna be honest here. The only game modes besides free roam that are being played are races and the weekly moneyboosted modes. If you now look at how much stuff we have...why should Rockstar ever bring new stuff? I mean sure, activities in free roam is a different thing but why should they implement these drag races? Even normal races are not being played by a lot of players.

 

I always wonder what the "non toxic" part of the community does in this game besides trying to grind in free roam. Because I can't find them anywhere else.

As much as I loved Yusuf in TBOGT (Seriously, almost everyone is an ass towards Luis in that game) and would love to see him in gtao, maybe it's better if we don't.

 

They can't ruin his character if they don't reintroduce him.

I have to disagree about the races. Stunt races are alive and well, unless by normal races you mean the stuff that came with the base game rather than anything that isn’t double cash.

I get into full lobbies both of adversary modes AND stunt races even when they aren't double money.

 I just want a GTAO DLC and a new GTA game sooner or later. I don't care what the theme is at this point... Even AW2 would guarantee more muscle cars.

it's just that i still got 37m and normally could justify logging in, knowing something interesting is around the corner, which isn't the case nowadays.

I think it's not that simple...if rockstar know that there's only one guy who have direct acess to leaks, in this case, Yan, would be very easy to make him the first suspect. Also, it's a matter of word of his, if he said he wouldn't leak anymore, he need respect that vow. (I think that Yan is probably some nephew of the Houser brothers or something, lol! Just kiding).
