Man, just noticed a few of my posts deleted. Mods are getting supremely uppity as this wait draws on. Make one joke about man buns and accusations of homophobia fly (screw you Piro, now i hope we never get Airwolf ) and posts are deleted. This place is getting very authoritarian. Mods have always been overzealous here but this is getting to be a bit much..

While we all here are focusing on DLC, there's little something about the VI. Advice: take with extreme caution, direct past from here.

The matter is being discussed in GTA next topic and some people are extremely sceptical about the 2020, while I think it's more of PR stunt for PS5. My hypothesis is that drought related to GTA info is so bad that Sony may actually use it for their own good, orchestrating leaks like that. Especially considering 'exclusive' talk and the fact that all the news are quite positive for Sony. My take on this is that GTA part is a complete nonsense, while most of the details about the console and some games are true like it should be in the textbooks. Although it's nice to dream that VI is being developed actively for some minutes.

While GTA VI is a guaranteed hit before it's even made, sadly the same can't be said about the next GTAO. I haven't experienced it first hand, but based on what I've been reading about RDO, R*/T2 have introduced some ridiculous/bullsh*t paywalls even for cosmetic items while giving very little in return, except for modes some of which are basically recycled from GTAO and the Grind(tm). Now, I'm not trying to downplay the lure of jumping from the current GTAO into a new, bigger and in all ways more extended map with graphics that melt ice caps, and keep doing the same there as I've been doing in the current one, but RDO has really made me wonder if R* has the innovation or motivation to make GTAO2 that would offer something more than that. At the moment, I'm afraid not. One could argue that surely R*/T2 have learned something about RDO bombing the way it is bombing right now, but then again, the way they have kept on adding AMs no-one wants to play in RDO even after seeing they are not that popular in GTAO either, and looking at the past DLCs, with a few exceptions most of them have been more of the same old, same old. So I wouldn't be drawing a surprised Pikachu face if GTAO2 is a combination of what we have seen recently: same old grind with enhanced graphics and paywalls, and more items/options locked behind hard currency paywalls. R*/T2 are still milking their historically lucrative cow, and I wouldn't blame them for trying to create a cow that gives milkshake. Just am afraid it will end up being a gimmicky milkshake cow that mostly just shakes.

I'm expecting an early-mid May update. Wait til the squeakers finish school and you will get more in shark card sales. Then the last update will be at the end of the year. You can only do so much after a game is 6 or 7 years old, esplly considering how much they've added on. They've basically reached car and property saturation point. 2 good part II DLCs, like Gunrunning and I/E/Nightclubs, would tie up loose ends and finish the game legitimately. I'm barely playing it anymore and am considering selling my console. It's close to being abandonware already.

Even double contact missions, I barely care. I've done them at least 25k times. This fits the pattern of let people earn money, then do a huge sale the next week, to take it back, then do an update. So we're 2 or 3 weeks from an update, I guess.

But I grinded the hell out of those from 2013-2015 and they never added new ones lol

 

They get boring just doing them once, let alone repeating them

If they do triple contact missions, I'm in. I've not ground contact missions since last x2 and I'm still worn out on them. Don't need the money and the rank is meh. Who cares if my main is 552 or 569? And zero regular cars on sale? So why bother earning the money?

I dislike the Doomsday heists. I know the repeat trick and have no interest in it. Don't need money and am most likely going to sell my console. Maybe I should grind rank and sell it as a package.

Doesn't matter to me, I can easily get a single great friend and reap the money out of that. Hurray for 2 people-only heist requirements.

 

Also, the unlocked livery is Skulls for both the Avenger and the Khanjali.

 

I am very pleased with this week.
