Unless they're doing April/May, August & December releases, I can see them moving to 2 dlcs per year scheme & balance the books with RDRO stuff.

 

If that's the case, we could be in for a beefy dlc and a potentially longer than usual dripfeed.

For each year updates are -1.
2015: 7 updates
2016: 6 updates
2017: 5 updates
2018: 3 updates
2019: 2 updates
2020: 1 update. "One more big score" - Dutch. And I guess it will be the last one before launching PR company for the next gta. To be hyped again, to boost ps5 sales, and sell the new game (gta6) as much as they (R*) could, we need a gap between gtav (gtao) and gta6. (see how we are crazy nowadays about the next dlc? the same but more will be with gta6)

They have changed their focus.
It was obvious since R* has changed GTAO updates from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Primary days are for RDO and GTAO as secondary. (tho GTAO brings more money than RDO... but it 5.5 years old already..)

Hmm... if its not dropping next week then maybe they are slowly stretching the gap between updates? 

126 days between ssASSs and AH
140 days between AH and AW

so maybe 150-160 days between AW and next dlc?

Waiting for RDR2 to be released on PC - thats depressing. Also those RDO updates are pretty small after all, right? They are like Beach Bum DLC. And its a new game thats still completely empty and people are constantly complaining about it. So obviously they will pump those updates faster for the new game.

Releasing something for GTAO on the other hand? Thats like adding another level to a house of cards. One mistake and everything crashes down.

Well they been doing that for years now. They will either:
a - add something thats even more OP
b- they will nerf Mk2 just to introduce something thats equally bad as mk2

Lol those people are total idiots. Why would someone care about KD in a game thats so unbalanced? I mean KD makes sense in competitive online FPS with anti-cheats and balanced gameplay (since thats the only point). But in GTAO? Thats just stupid.
I will never understand those tryhards... They are literally the funniest thing that this game created. Like I can't even imagine any other game where people kill themselfs to avoid being killed and they think thats a strategy.

And the funniest thing about it? They all look exactly the same! In all those years I never even looked at someones K/D, I just look at their outfits. 

Also I didn't know that KD is even counted in adversary modes. Especially in race modes like tiny racers Oo

It's all a matter of opinion, but I saw it the opposite way.

 

RDO updating on Tuesdays gave the new product the historically familiar time where players we're already use to checking for news while GTAO updating on Thursdays manages to give the ever popular cash cow top billing on the Newswire and across social media for 5 days out of every 7 day cycle.

Imagine if they are going with 2 dlcs a year so we might get lot of content that will be dripfed for 6 months.

A mini update would have made this drought a hell of a lot more tolerable. Imagine a few weeks ago, if they were to drop a two car mini update like the Banshee R and Sultan RS, but this time it was a stock ZR380 and a Euros (San Andreas version of course). Many, many, many of us would not be bitching and moaning right now if they would have thrown a little bone like that..
