Like, I took the Deveste Eight for a Stunt Race the other day and while the understeer was manageable (I actually liked it) it was near undrivable on the loops.

 

Just remove the damn advanced handling flags and call it a day, I'll rather have to deal with curb boosting scrubs again if that means being able to actually drive my cars instead of fighting them.

I prefer with the bouncy suspension flag than without it. These cars are so fast when curb boosting that the guys who abuse it cant do without losing control.

 

Rockstar instead of removing curb boosting, made it so strong that is unpractical to use. Is kind of a shock therapy, and i have to say it works, i never saw someone in a itali gto curb boosting in the street races (stunt races doesnt count in this because they are made to hotlaping, so everything can be used)

Deveste Eight and Deviant have the flags done neatly. The Itali GTO is fun for its challenging nature and resulting speed from the excessive bouncing but if you put these bits aside the car just sucks, very hard to drive in a game where the other cars are very easy to handle so it's no wonder why nearly everyone dislike it. It's out of place in the game. The Toros has a similar situation, being rocket-fast for its class but quite a handful to handle.

 

About the Deveste, thinking about it, I'm not really sure if it's done right because about 80% of the time I don't even remember that it has the flags. If it's intended to be like this then why put the flags in the first place? Could have been left flagless like the Schlagen GT if their effects are supposed to be so minimal. But I only use it for racing though so I might be missing something.

It's Rockstar logic done right, perhaps? But that's how I see the AW flags too. They saw our complaints about the first advanced flags so they turned around and cranked curb-boosting up to 11, making it unpredictable and unreliable. But being Rockstar, it couldn't be perfect so we have this inconsistency in how cars are affected by the new flags. Street races are a interesting thing because depending on the track, an Elegy Retro can still beat a bunch of Pariahs, but I have to wonder what kind of brave soul takes the GTO for one of these old races?

No. Videos on Privat are counted on Youtube. Socialblade only counts what you can see.

Maybe is just something related to RDO, i am surprised people arent talking about it as well.

I get your logic however they are investing heavy into RDO lately (and screwing up story mode in the process) so i think there is a possibility of being a new mode announcement or a oficial response to the downgrade thing.

Investing heavy as in releasing time limited clothes and adversary modes, while ignoring Story Mode. It's GTA V all over again, except that there's no whales to fund online. R* need to get their sh*t together, the "success" of GTAO made them think they could milk players with the same dumb recipe without putting much effort into it. I hope RDR2O flops real hard so that they learn their lesson, but Zedick won't care since there's GTAO.

aren't they still waiting on confirmation from sony and Microsoft about the dlc? trailer might be ready to upload but couldn't it be days / weeks before it is actually uploaded & announced?
