After this speedweek event you could be right, if it is happening i would buy every single hideous supers just to burn and destroy them and post it in the appreciation thread 😂

And please fix the missing doors in I/E missions, the drone photo mode bug in targeted data, the accidentally exploding i/e cars, the missing crates and so on

The I/E randomly exploding is not a bug, if you're talking about the car catching fire, it's a fix for a dupe glitch. If other players leaves your session and you end up alone, the car will catch fire. If someone fail to join your session, it will catch fire too because it will count that as the other player leaving (even if you never saw someone else join).

As for the talk of QoL update, I see that people have a bit too much faith in the soulless machine that R* is now.

Seems like a cheap and lazy way of 'fixing' things. Then again, they resort to cheap/lazy method to make earning cash difficult (cue in point DDH AI).

With a decently skilled friend and some practice, Act III at least is a walk in the park if you don't rush things. The AI is only overpowered if you stand in the crossfire for too long, so making extensive use of the game's cover mechanics is essential in my experience, along with knowing where to not hide. But the spawning points of the AI are fixed so again practice comes as a huge help since you get to know where they will come from, specially in the hacking part of the finale.

After doing Act III quite a bit I can tell that the only moments when the AI can insta-kill me or my friend is when the connection lags. That's the cursed moment when they can shoot you through walls or send a barrage of 20+ bullets with 100% accuracy in a second. So watch out for your connection, it can ruin an perfectly smooth run out of nowhere, quite literally.

But, putting myself in the perspective of a player that's new or not used to Act III, it's easy to see that it's a very challenging mission indeed. It was for me at first.

Don’t think so. Pretty sure Fun mentioned two weeks is generally how long the Sony/Microsoft approval process takes. I assume that no more qabeta updates means it’s just been sent off.

So them managing to hit you with minigun bursts while you just peek your head to align your aim isn't overpowered?
Them managing to shoot your hand and kill you or leave you near death isn't overpowered?
Them spawning (sometimes infinitely) in hallways you just cleared isn't overpowered?
Them tanking headshots, sometimes from snipers isn't overpowered?

Actually you're right, they're not overpowered. They're lazily programmed.

So how do you expect them to make the enemies more difficult in comparison to the original heists ?

The original heists enemies were fine, just give them better weapon variety and better tactics and done. The lack of heavy utility heists in DDH was a buff in difficulty enough.

Man ... I still want a DLC that revolves around these RC vehicles, a business that lets you to grief NPC with these RC vehicles, I'm tired of those business DLC that requires you to set yourself up and give other players are chance to grief you, in order for you to earn money.

i dont think so, the original heists were too easy, you can complete them without even need to snacking if you know what you are doing. Also the weapon selection couldnt become much better since the original heist enemies already uses ARs in some cases. I think the difficulty of DDH is on point, i can even argue they could make them harder and i wouldnt complain, forcing people not to rush as it still possible to rush on most missions.

Anyway, the 100% accuracy is kinda a meme i get it, but they are clones with a robot brain after all.

I guess it depends on what you consider a "big" update. Imo we haven't gotten a big update since Doomsday.

You could look at the size of the updates.  Anyone who thinks AH update wasn’t a “big” update is out of their mind.  Might not be lyour cup of tea, but the sheer size of the update suggests otherwise.

The problem isn't that they are difficult, it's that they've been made difficult in a cheap and lazy manner. I don't really need to debate anything with you if you can't see that yourself.

Brushing it off as clones and robots doesn't exactly excuse it. The same can be said about the annoying cop AI, brushing off half-arsed programming with "but it's LAPD brutality parody".

In the end, it's laziness.

Size doesn't define the update, the quality and target of the update does. After Hours may have been intended as a big update but a lot of content in it ended up disappointing, at least revolving directly around what it's supposed to be.

Size only matters when talking about dicks.
AH was full of music so it makes no sense to compare its size to other dlcs, it all depends on compression. But it wasn't big in content thats for sure. After all when it dropped many people speculated that its just part 1 of 2 for a reason.

1 hour ago, Marciliojunior01 said:

Well I don't know
- riot shields and helmets
- different AI behavior and weapons
- security system, drone turrets, robots (we are fighting evil computer after all)
- by buffing them but not ridiculously?

Literally anything they could do would be better and less lazy then what they end up doing with DDH... they just added couple 0's to HP and perfect aim. Making me headshot the same target over and over again is not more difficult, its just wastes my time. If you didn't notice it was intended to not be profitable. I'm sure 90% of people spend more money on that facility then they earned from doing all those heists (not counting glitchers).

And also suddenly after 5 years theres this new invisible npc glitch (still not fixed) that happens in only one setup? What a coinsurance...

Lazy excuse not to make different enemies and just reuse players model with a mask. If they are "clones with robot brains" then why are they sound and behave exactly like every other npc in the game? You can't pretend thats not just a lazy excuse to cut corners.

No he's simply pointing out that everyone universally agrees that its just lazy programming. It's something very obvious.

In the end, it's laziness.

It seems like you see laziness into everything, things are not that simple. What i was trying to tell you is that there is no other way to make the NPCs more powerful, they already have the best weapons in the game (improving this part is impossible). What else they can do? Form a team and having some going upfront while two backwards or find a way for flank you? they already do that, there is no ground to improve other than aim and health.

That's pretty much it. It's lazy and ugly when you realize it but it's nothing unmanageable. They're pretty predictable in my opinion, the only unpredictable things that happen for me nowadays is due to connection lag or the rare NPC that slips past my view and sneak up on me. But then again, there's only one place where this happens, at the tunnels where you have to destroy Clifford's supplies. A lone NPC can spawn behind you there so I pay extra attention usually.

1 hour ago, Pankypops said:

So them managing to hit you with minigun bursts while you just peek your head to align your aim isn't overpowered?

As I said, in my experience sometimes this isn't really always because of the way they're programmed, but actually could be the result of a brief lag. Well at least for me it usually is. When it's not the case it's because they're already focused on me and firing constantly. Since it's dozens of rounds per second, it can be pretty easy for them to hit even your hand if it's exposed, specially given their Agent 47 levels of marksmanship.

1 hour ago, Pankypops said:

Them managing to shoot your hand and kill you or leave you near death isn't overpowered?

Connection lag, I'm pretty sure of it. Really, how else could that or the shooting through walls thing happen? Lag + aimbots are the deadliest thing you'll ever see in this game. Even a small lag have screwed me up at times. It's quite the bullsh*t.

1 hour ago, Pankypops said:

That only ever happens on the hacking part of Act III, and it's clearly on purpose to make it harder. I only do this Act though so excuse me if it's frequent on others. Oh and I'm not counting setups and preliminary missions. But that it's still lazy is an undeniable fact I'd say, since it's the easiest way to make it harder.

1 hour ago, Pankypops said:

That's quite confusing because indeed they can tank shots from snipers yet when I'm using an AR they will almost always fall in a single headshot. Juggernauts are an obvious exception given their health, but overall I'd say that it's just inconsistent.

Guess my reply came a little too late, but since it's off the thread topic I was wondering if I should really reply or not. Also, I'm a bit slow at typing which doesn't help either :p

As the others have said, the file size (GB) is completely irrelevant to what we mean when an update is "big".

A big update changes the game considerably in a meaningful way. Heists did that. Finance and Felony did that.

Although Arena Wars is my favourite update ever released, I can clearly see it's impact on the game as a whole was very small. Just another set of (imo really cool) adversary modes and a bunch of great vehicles. Nothing that makes it feel like a fresh experience for the masses.

I think the Death Bike is pretty cool as well. I like the Apocalypse version with the riot shield on the back. The double minigun looks really tough. Really cool design choices, just wish it had a sidecar so I could really live out my Mr. Grimm fantasy.

It's inclusion in some Arena modes was a bit daft but tbh I haven't had much issue with them aside from the Flags mode. The bike itself is cool though, which is how I view most vehicles.

Yeah analizing it by itself is a cool vehicle (like most of the ones we have in game), but ruin the arena modes in general. Luckly people are starting to do "bike banned" arena matches, and i have to say, without it is so much more fun.

I like the Death Bike too.  I wish the Future Shock version could have standard miniguns though and not the lasers.  I find it odd they didn't allow this, as you can with the other FS versions.

Yeah deathbike is pretty sweet (especially with that old speed glitch). We definitely need more bikes that can boost and jump. Heck just add jump, boost, armor and countermeasures to all normal cars at this point. Thats the only way to balance civilian vehicles.

yeah robot face placed on old models and animations from single player, nothing new... thats my point. If they wanted to sell it better they should have robotic voices, different movement, shutdown animation, electric sparks, maybe even explode into pieces.

But if it acts like old enemies, speaks like old enemies and dies like old enemies - its just the same old enemy but with a new mask on and sh*t ton of HP

A simple turret gun would be something new at least...
