Imo there are more than enough cars now, especially sports classics. AW2 is the best we can hope for a small update, the alternative as stunt races part 273 is painful to think about.

R* could bring literal UFOs for all I care as long as there substancial QoL and rebalancing fixes in the next update.

 

An I'm not talking just about slightly nerfing the Oppresor Mk II and call it a day, I'm talking about a complete overhaul of the game's mechanics, systems, weapons and vehicles.

 

And no, there's no excuse left whatsoever, they can certainly afford it, they should to, they have to.

And please fix the missing doors in I/E missions, the drone photo mode bug in targeted data, the accidentally exploding i/e cars, the missing crates and so on

I haven't been too active on here since I've got some big midterms coming up. But from what I've read it's looking like it's gonna be April. Though there's still some March left and I'm holding out for the 28th. Mostly because my spring break is the first week of April and it'd be sweet to get to enjoy the update for a whole week.

Pretty much the same for me.  If it's AW part 2 then I'm just going to find something else to play for a few weeks/months before coming back and picking up whatever's good/meta relevant.

 

Might actually be for the best, I have a backlog of about half a dozen games I want to play, on top of my yearly Mass Effect play-through....

I honestly am not sure if  R* is stupid and out of touch enough to do a Part Deux of this trainwreck. If anything, I'd expect some dripfeed arena vehicles, but not an entire update focused around it. The first one was already too much, and ironically not enough at the same time. Reminds me of Lowriders: Custom Classics - it came with some great vehicles, but overall people hated it, because it was merely a repetition of what came not so long before it. Just let the Arena die for good, like smugling, and forget about it.

 

Literally the only thing that would motivate me to revisit the arena workshop would be addition of some new non PvP gamemodes, some of which could be enjoyed solo - like Dirt Ring. Other than that, I'm pretty sick and tired of returning to the game to do the same things I've been doing before the update. After Hours added few generic sale missions - whoa, how ambitious, how much playability they contain! Arena Wars added literally not one thing that would even remotely interest me gameplay-wise. So both times once an update dropped, I was still doing the same as months prior - sell bunker stock, sell biker businesses stocks, occassionally do an I/E job, and heist/play contact missions. That's it.

 

I need an update coming with new activities, something to occupy my time with - not an empty shell, a paywall with no real value.

If they ever add Gauntlet Classic i think it should have convertible option. It's the car that fits most and we haven't had convertible cars in a while now.

The biggest problem with AW is that there was no PvE activities to do. It was all PvP. And you can only do this if... ya know, other people are playing the same mode? Even if you have other people on your friends list who play GTA, none of them want to touch these modes. They're long and arduous, pay out sh*t rewards and get boring so quick.

 

The only thing I liked about AW was some of the new weaponised vehicles and some of the clothing, all locked behind horrendous prices.

 

They could have at least added some new VIP missions using these new vehicles, like set fire to the gang hideouts using the Cerberus or crush enemy vehicles using the Sasquatch, hunt down enemy agents on foot using just the blades on the Death Bike and so on.

Exactly.  Even if they allow the Arena War modes and even races and TDM to have NPCs as opponents rather than other players, it would suddenly open up tons of different modes to players who tend to play solo, either through choice or because they simply don't have other friends on their list to play with.

 

And anyone who says "but then races and these modes against NPCs would be too eazyyyy!!" clearly have never raced against that Octopus or WizPig in Diddy Kong Racing...

oh man...i´m sad...i had the best dream about a update being released and it was massive!

 

 

5 mountains had big rooms and tunnels added to them, next to mount gordo were a few highways that led to a new map (looked like a expanded VC somehow but with swamps to the upper left), funny cutscenes that had everyone, Bryony, Agent 14, karen, lester etc.

and then they also added christmas designs to the widowmaker and there was a scene in which you would get kidnapped by aliens and you would see planets and stuff.

and then some other creatures would shoot at you with the widowmaker.

 

my dream got me hyped 

 

IT. WAS. AWESOME!

But I have to say that R* announcing something rly crazy on 1st of April (like aliens, zombies, oppressors mk3, helicarriers or horses) would be hilarious.

maybe the one is going to be a big update and they release a filler update in summer ? they can always change the patterns like they change everything in gta online every update they release

The cut vehicles from Arena War, and R* not releasing Arena Premium Races.

Import/Export had the ability to make Special Vehicle Races but R* kept it locked until it released a whole update about said feature.

Same thing with the Doomsday Heist, and SSASS update.

I believe the same thing is happening with Arena War, this next update could center around Arena Premium Races aka Arena War Part 2.
