You know it can’t work that way though. It’s in the game already and people have spent their money on it. There would be unprecedented backlash from the people actually dumping money into the game, and that’s all that matters.

I sent in a request to R* to remove it's homing missile option entirely but I like your idea better.

a thruster mk 2 will fit so well in gta online especially if it has wings that extend and shrink with a press of a button..

like you can be able to wear it and walk or run with it like a body armor and you can fly the moment you want...

 

no weapons and it can't be locked on with missiles, if it happens it gonna be so cool in my humble opinion

Sure, but the Rhino still shot tank shells. The Rhino was still invincible at the time anyway, save for when it was pitted against the few people who managed to jack a Lazer and fly it well. Moreover, the Rhino was much more exclusive and had a level requirement attached to it. The Mk.II wouldn’t just lose a bit of functionality, it loses literally the entire selling point. You think the prime demographic of people buying broomsticks are doing it to move cargo easier or to get around conveniently? Hell no. That’s a portion of it for sure, but the real profit comes from a different audience. Angry kids who want the automatic K/D boost that comes with it.

Of course, there have been and are a lot of jetpacks available throughout the years. The Bell Rocket Belt - that 1950s/60s model - was really more like a "jump" pack, with only a dozen seconds of flight time (which I think directly inspired Fallout 4's jetpack). The high-flying San Andreas jetpack was a bit more capable than even modern packs, though - especially with how Carl could pilot it with another hand holding a gun - and had practically limitless flight. I think the Thruster, while still somewhat fictionalized, is a bit more realistic, even if its speed and handling is a bit questionable for its design.

 

I do take it as a sign there's only more crazy stuff like jetpacks and laser guns to come, whether for the better or worse, water or air.

 

Addendum: I'd be pretty happy with in-game appearances by Paul Moller's Skycar and Volantor if we're going to go goofy, campy sci-fi. And an AVE Mizar if less sci-fi style is preferred.

I'd just love a jetpack that I can use my pistol/smg with like in san andreas. I don't think it will be a boat update just because of the map itself, there's not enough land separated by water like in older gtas other than the alamo sea to make it interesting. They should add more mods and liveries to older cars like they did with the mamba, prairie etc. I'd happily buy older cars if more customisation options were added, maybe even add in new rims and car respray colours.

For me personally, I am looking for solo experiences that can be completed without interacting with anyone else. In other words, taking side mission stuff from old GTA games and just putting them into GTAO for the player to accomplish. 

 

The Nightclub is actually pretty close to what I mean. You do missions for the club, the club makes money as a result, etc. I wouldn't mind a set of properties that had similar attributes. 

 

A mafia style update with several business fronts, ice cream shop, taxi station, car dealership, etc that had you do less than legal things to keep them afloat and producing constant money (like the Nightclub safe) would suite me just fine. It would fall into R*s money trap they have set the standard for-

 

>Buy property

>Upgrade property

>Upgrade property specific vehicles

>Delivery missions

>Increased upkeep costs

A Mafia update is my number one want! You could include some sweet cars, mansions, turf wars, and so much more.

well somehow classic heists, mafia families like in liberty city stories if i'm correct, prison breaks, like a normal classic action stuff won't work anymore i guess.. 

these classic action stuff happen due to poor outlaws who have nothing to lose..  

 

 

 

now gta online is about multi millionairs outlaws.. fleets of aircraft and super cars and deep bank accounts.. so these classic action stuff won't work and won't have the same taste..

gta online now is in highway to futuristic dlcs because things went this way by adding new and better content time and again i guess.. which is fine and cool and somehow thats how things should be.. like it is what it is, and yeah i would love to see a mafia or a classic heist or any classic action story driven dlc and it would be cool,

 

 

 

but also luxurious dlcs as pass time  or fancy hobby can actuall work like treasure hunting underwater and in oceans..

or maybe some futurustic action like saving the world again in a doomsday heist 2.. 

or any kind of a good story would work honestly.. just something fun and make sense.. in my humble opinion

So long as it didn't come with missles but you could use drive-by/bike weapons at the very least.

I still think they should get rid of the broomstick and refund people. I just see how many people mock the game, don't want to play it anymore, etc. thanks to it, and it's hard to think of a lot of good reasons it should stay. It's so ugly and retarded too.

 

Probably won't happen though. But meh, they did ask as to say what we thought.

Unfortunately for us, for every 1 person that are saying things like that, there are 20 more saying they enjoy things like the MkII, and they say it with their wallets.

Actually, yes, why not.

 

I wouldn't have a problem with that or with any of the other jets/planes having a helping hand taking off if it sorted out the obscene spawn locations for things that are supposed to be PVs. Better use of the existing Helipads for Choppers too would be a good thing, I'm royally fed up having to travel Pegasus-spawn-distance to collect my Personal Vehicle.

 

We all know the CEO Buzzard can, usually, be delivered at our feet, same with the OPMKII. Those of you who use Merryweather Heli' pick-up will also know that he will pick you up from most locations. There's no reason we can't have most of our aerial PV's spawn much, much closer to our location.
