I always knew rdro wouldnt have much active players after 3 or 4 months. The game has a very specific public they cant experiment as much as they can with gta. 

RDR2 is a game that you buy for the story (which is touching perfection) not for the online mode

Wow didn't see contact missions paying double money especially after especially after the whole Lester glitch fiasco. Better event week for me as most contact missions don't require that two player bs, and with stunt races doubled its time to see what that Deveste 8 can do on a track.

So I’m guessing what Fun’s saying is that we’re getting the update in March packaged with 2-3 months of dripfeed.

We usually get march updates, typically within the middle to late range. so yeah.

 

I honestly have no clue what they'd be adding tho. like the last update not gonna get my hopes up even tho i was surprised the last time. this time tho i dont know.

I'm expecting nothing more in March than another stunt racing update, this time using the arena vehicles.

For what I'm reading on the newswire, plus what Fun said. Not in March, if they really start to listen what we want, is no gonna be March. Probably, we are gonna get some update with cutout content from past dlcs in March, but not a big one. Just my opinion.

After a 2 year delay. And it was supposed to be in at launch. Heists doesn't count as a normal update.

Bear in mind that was announced WAY back 2014. It was a different time.

Any later and I expect more than just leftovers, races and an advesary mode, I personally would expect something new.

R* did whatever the hell they want, look RDO all the we listened to the community feedback, and the update is really bad and not what the community wanted. All I'm saying is same as you, no big update in March, I don't know what you read. The heist date was to imply that R* do what they want, whenever they want, without listening to the community.

The business update in 2014 and Heists in 2015 clearly don't count, the game was very different back then. As soon as the game's updates became next gen exclusive we started seeing this pattern, so that's about the last three years in a row now.

Read my previous post. Anyway, I got to go. Hope I'm wrong we get a nice update in March. Besides, the only info we got is there are gonna be more updates, and this is a speculation thread. Other people can think different than you, you don't have to agree. I'm just "speculating", or saying what I think. I also don't see the point on keep arguing about dates.

And even if they are going to start magically responding to player feedback, it's a bit late in the day, surely? There's a whole lot of stuff that can't be changed/undone at this point (I'd personally love it if they did a Thanos on pretty much everything starting with Gunrunning...), and I'm not sure if it's worth getting back into GTAO again if all they do is fix the annoying hairline texture glitch, or some other fix that would be welcome, but isn't exactly going to make the game a million times better.

 

That, and if the Red Dead Online feedback page is any indication, it'll be next to useless, anyway - try pointing out specific texture errors and the like (with example pics) when you've only got 500 characters to play with...

Oh great.  Contact Missions are flooded with noobs setting the difficulty to Medium.  Looks like I'm gonna be doing missions solo...

I'm just wondering what good any of it'll do, considering some of us have been badgering R* to make improvements/fixes, and add certain things, for years, and they've either ignored that feedback, or misunderstood it spectacularly.

 

At this point, I don't know what's worse: R* ignoring things, or R* attempting them and screwing them up. For instance, I used to want new clothing items, but now I'm just dreading to see more over-sized garbage with crappy textures. Likewise, do I really want to see a '90s Mazda (like the RX-7 FD or MX-5 NA) added? I can't specify to R* that they get the person wot designed the Stafford to do it, so it'll probably wind up like something like the ZR380, with similar problems.

 

Like I say, I've done this dance too many times already, and it's been an utter waste of time - I'm a lot happier with my expectations set to 'zero or lower', spending time playing games that do more of what I want straight out of the starting gate, and only checking in on GTAO if and when anything half-interesting happens.

Tactic for those who own an MKII during double contact missions:

 

1. Ensure you're in the Dispatch mission cycle.
2. Set vehicle access to everyone for your MKII.  
3. Just stand back and let eager noob rush to get on.
4. Go grab a beer or a sandwich whilst eager noob rushes off to destroy objectives.
5. ???
6. Profit!

 

More often than not, the noob, unless he is a complete f*cktard, should be able to do the mission successfully.  Noobs love any chance to get to try out the MKII.

If anything, what with the recent glitch, more noobs have access to their own one anyway lol.

But YES!  This is kind of a victory for us all, now we can call Pegasus vehicles in for free.  Sure, it's very minor, but cool nonetheless.
