That's a really tough choice. I've always wanted my own Island, but i've also always wanted Mansions and something involving the Casino. I'd probably choose the Mansion/Casino. Tough choice.

Just so you know, I'm not suggesting that R* should add a Deluxo Mk II, I'm just memeing.

 

On topic: Seeing thay R* is now willing to go back and add new features like customization options to old vehicles, I think they should consider to do the same for all Pegasus aircraft, when applicable, things like:

 

- Functional side doors (Maverick, Frogger, Annihilator, Savage)

- Upgrades and Countermeasures (although that would mean that the weird hitbox in th Savage would need to go)

- Liveries! (both unique ones for each aircraft and Bunker Research ones)

- I'll gladly trade the overly generous splash damage radius on the Savage's cannon for more range and even a fully movable turret.

- I'll also would trade the Explosive Cannons from the Hydra and Lazer for either low powered Explosive MGs  (like the ones in the Rogue and B-11 Strikeforce) or Machine Guns and the ability to spam missiles and put upgrades and countermeasures on those.

 

Just my $0.02, of course.

Annihilator needs an upgrade for armor and cannons. It would make it be the beast it once was. I've said it a hundred times, but I'm gonna say it again and again, and again until Rockstar do it.

Yeah, I know that, but I don’t see how that contradicts any of what I said?

 

RDO will be new by christmas, so I don’t think we’ll get an update for that until after christmas. There probably will be some kind of timed tuna bowl holiday gifts unlocking for us though.

 

And GTAO should get its usual December update some time before christmas. Would make most sense to me.

 

And yeah, R* uses the term ”beta” to have their backs covered in case RDO has anything close to resembling the disaster launch that GTAO had. But I don’t think they’d admit that and say ”Here’s content in another game for you as compensation.”, especially seeing as we have to pay for that content and it won’t be a giveaway. Well, I guess we’ll see.

The poor Black Hawk always got the short stick when it comes to colors & liveries in GTA. First the Raindance & now the Annihilator.

 

Even with the Hangar. You can remove the camao from the Titan, Hydra, Savage & Valkyrie, but that awful yellow stripe doesn't go away.

When that guy from rockstar was asked about the future of gtao a few months back, he didn't specify if updates would continue after rdo, but he did say they wouldn't be happening during it. So when rdo launches end of this month, the whole of December will be only weeks after it, ergo the same period of time. As such I see no update for gtao other than a few low key Xmas things. That then means that for the first time since launch, they've stopped with updates. How likely are they to restart doing something they have stopped on a five year old Game? Of course it will make them money if they start again, but so will selling Cadbury cream eggs make money after Easter, of course the magic disappears though. It's about resting the format before people get sick of it, which by the way, many are, even on gtaforums.

Naval DLC may be a good excuse to add another 20 slots to hangar storage space. Those multi million dollar aircraft like your Hunters and your Molotoks and your Pyros probably move as many if not more shart cards than over priced supers do. Would love for a naval update to not only bring weaponized watercraft, but also add appropriate planes too... F-14, F-35 Lightning II, and maybe a Hydra Classic that is 100% Harrier this time, and yeah, an Annhilator Mk deuce could be pretty wicked if given the love the Hunter and Akula got..

If they released a completely stock Deluxo, I'd be totally fine with paying 1.21 millions for it.

I will be floored if they let the money from a December DLC float away. I’m expecting a pretty sizeable update.

As has been said, Rockstar wants players to swap between Red Dead and GTA - maximize their profits and playtime - so, even if a mid-December update to GTAO seems soon when RDO is only a few weeks old, Rockstar isn't losing anything. They'll rope players into GTA, retain those who are dedicated to Red Dead, then maybe swap around and have an update for Red Dead come spring. Besides, the PC only crowd doesn't even have Red Dead as an option right now, and that's a big market to let lie. A winter update is sure-fire.

 

At any rate, everybody should remember: This too shall pass.

that was then, since then Strauss Zelnick said GTaO would continue to see content updates indefinitely, this fall is the first time we missed a quarter since the fall between IGG and E&OC, and only because of the launch of RDR2, there is no way they are going to forsake holiday Shark Card sales, not to mention they are two separate teams, R* is a multinational company with studios around the world, sure they might share resources but each project has their own core team.  this notion that somehow updates have slowed down is ridiculous, every update since F&F has been huge, the 1st quarter updates are always small, first it was CS: Special Vehicle Circuit (Heists was meant to be a Dec update), then part two of that, then part three of that mixed with a whole other update, SSASSS...  I mean the only reason AH was in July instead of June like all the other big summer updates is because they knew there would be no fall update this year, but yeah, I digress, just look at F&F, Bikers, I/E, GR, SR, the fricken DDH, and AH, all meaty updates with tons of content...  the development of RDR2 had zero impact on the quality or amount of content in GTaO at all, like I said, the release has been off this year, but that in no way means they are going to stop updates on their flagship franchise that makes them literally billions anytime soon...

You couldn’t be more wrong. There’s an update coming in December. It’s not even a debate my dude. There’s literally no point arguing about this.

If anything, Red Dead Redemption 2 only strengthens the argument of a sizeable GTA Online update in December. 

 

Rockstar’s customers have been playing their latest game, and now after an update in GTA Online, have even more need for Shark Cards since they certainly haven’t been playing GTA and saving cash.

As I see it the last meaningful update was doomsday, smugglers and gunrunnung. I don't see why they would go an entire year releasing two low key updates and then return to original content, after all by your guys logic they have gone crazy and missed out on shark card sales this year?

 

If I'm wrong, I wonder what actually would be in future worthwhile updates? In terms of theme, so forgetting mansions and aircraft carriers for a minute. I only see tuners and law and order left to do. The latter I don't think they will ever touch as they have said many times there has to be limits to anything and one of gtas is that you are always a criminal.

I agree it's unlikely we ever see an update where we are police officers. A tuners update is definitely possible though. They could even sprinkle a bunch of tuner cars into many different updates instead of having an actual update theme dedicated to it. That's what they did with I'm Not A Hipster 2. They sprinkled the cars into a few different updates. I definitely see Mansions coming eventually. I hope they come in December but if not I definitely see them arriving sometime in 2019.

Would be cool to get something related to RDR 2.  I don't know anything about that game but I could see RS trying something like that.  Like maybe a time warp that sends you back to the old west...
