Same drill; speculate about what the next DLC is going to be, share leaks and opinions, report in event weeks, whatever. Some quick info for those interested:

• Obviously, no spamming. Occasional high quality sh*tpost is fine* but don't go overboard. * - Varies depending on staff member

Bring it on R*, surprise me. 

 

Genuinely feel this and RDR could be two peas in a pod if they really went for it. The money side of it and the balance has always been contentious for some, but I really don't care if R* clean up there, want them too really so we get more sh*t and more expansive/diverse gaming. Just needs tweaking to appeal to more and a few common complaints addressed and they can score so many easy wins if they do.

 

Felt this year, combined with RDR's story push at present, this game has done a far better job to appeal to lone players, small teams, and groups alike. More of that please!

These latest event weeks have had some hefty discounts on some cash sinks. I have to wonder if we're getting another update in the near future, and this is prep.

Curious what next week's event will look like with RDR 2 out. Hopefully there's no log-in gift so I don't have to change discs solely to grab a shirt or something

Why do people want mansions so bad? I have an apartment with 3 floors which is big enough for me. People already bitch about running through the facility or nightclub. Why would a mansion be any different. A big house with a bunch of rooms with sh*t in them wtf lol

Kinda like mooching about and looking, but it is limited with how little interactivity there are in most property.

 

To me, mansions = garage space. And that's essential for me if car choice grows. A house/apartment means 10 spaces, a mansion could be the key to a 50 car showroom, lol.

 

A pool table in a games room though, that'd do it.

Mansion? Noo! They need fix invite system for players in jobs! They forced players for only classic maps - it's shame! No one join in custom maps, but if you hosted classic maps, full lobby in 1-2 mins!

Because those of us that want one will never get one irl

And mansions of course = more garage space, more than a seventh apartment would provide. It'll likely have underground garages like the nightclub

Not enough.

 

Don't think we'll see anything decent in the next months. Maybe December will bring something, but my hopes are really low and that's not because of lack of DLCs, that's because Online finally showed me the true age. It's been more than 5 years I'm playing this game. Thousands of contact missions, 3 platforms, etc, etc. I don't mind a good coop, but people barely do heists these days and I've seen couple of crews disappear into the sunset from 360 to PC, the crews I loved, like BF Surfers cruisers. That were the times... People are cruising on Forza Horizon 4 now, but that's different: you can't get out of the car, the camera is different... At this moment I'm ready to part with Online, finally. 83 millions in the bank and nothing to buy.

I guess i can see people wanting more garage space but those could be added with any new property type. If nothing else is added like a new mini game i dont see much point to it though. Clubs fixed the garage space issue for me. I habe 2 characters with over 500 vehicles combined. So unless they release a sh*t load of very unique and desirable vehicles im good.

why do people play this game?  to live a virtual life of luxury in a virtual LA, and to customize their virtual avatar, not everything added needs to help you in PvP.  why buy clothes at the clothing shops?  why buy a supercar that isn't the best in its class?  why buy one or more luxury apartments each with a different customization?  why do people play The Sims, or Civilization?  why ask why?

and for real, not tryna tell people "what to say", but THERE WON'T BE A QOL UPDATE!!  each update from here on out will have a theme, just as every other update has, and there will continue to be QOL changes with each update, as there has been already, if there is ever an update with a bunch of qol changes, it will also have a theme, other than "this update fixes a bunch..."

R* break more than they fix in each update. So you can stop with this "they fix things every update" bullsh*t.

I mean, people weren't expecting a new Heists with The Doomsday Heist or a (flawed to be fair) business consolidation update with After Hours.

 

And now with RDR2's release (and many other games like BO4 and FO '76), it's in their best interest to actually fix the game's issues or they will face a serious exodus of players. People can only tolerate so much bullsh*t until they get fed up and leave.

Not everyone has two characters though.

And there's really no point in having a second character, you don't have access to the same vehicles. I like having everything in one place

Since we're now on an actual new thread (yay!), I'll repeat my previously shared thoughts. I figure, since not everybody is movin' on over to Red Dead Online come November, those of us sticking to the streets of Los Santos will still see a decent December update. Content to keep the GTA-only crowd (and us stranded on PC) satisfied, if not a massive narrative-packed thing like last year. Oft-requested vehicles like analogues to the VW Beetle, classic Porches, et cetera. I wouldn't be surprised by the long-awaited arrival of mansions, following on from the nightclubs of After Hours, but that's just... well, speculation! Definitely looking forward to something big in the wake of After Hours, and, with luck, big enough to draw the players from Red Dead into GTA for a week or two.

 

A bit of shameless wishlisting from me is necessary, though. I would be super happy to get some of my most favorite, most iconic cars in Online, finally. A Checker Marathon and a Land Rover Series II analogue would surely scratch my itch!

I don't think we'll see anything in November with RDRO (b) coming online & we'd be lucky if GTAO isn't affected by the inevitable servers' crash.

 

I do think that we'll get a dlc in mid December. The holiday season has proved time & time again to be the most profitable session for R* & they'd be crazy to pass on that gold mine. I don't think it'll be DDH sized dlc as all hands were on deck with RDR, but it'll still be a big one.

 

 

On a side one, to capitalize on page 1, I really hope they add an X6 M...

 

I'm down for either generation, but I'd prefer the F16 GenII.

 

I don't even need exterior mods, just give me a well designed exterior with a colorable Nero interior & I'm golden.
