No, it is not.

 

But in case you didn't know, the workaround is to fit the single secondary machine gun. Then you get it back.

I was recently told to switch back to the single machine gun from the double to make locking work right. Haven't tested it yet.

Yes i know this solution, but for some time i didn't follow the news so i didn't know if it is solved.
But what is your feeling about Akula's bugs, still co pilot can't operate the guns and all of them happens for a long time now.
Is here any news about when ? It seems like no one  know, and we are talking about an aircraft designed especialy for team roles !

There hasn't been a code update since After Hours and there won't be another one until the next DLC (99% anyway).
