The cats in towns, Thieves Landing, and other places are not wild feral cats. They never hiss or growl.
Those cats look pampered, well fed, and content. Easy petting followed by purring should be expected.
Petting cat should be added and then a new daily could be "pet a cat until it purrs"
Yes i love cats and want a camp cat and a bar cat. Also breed/color choices would be available.

"Stray cats could be vocal – you could hear them meowing and could respond to your voice while feral cats won't meow, beg or respond.

Stray cats are active during the day while feral cats are primarily nocturnal"

Yeah, I read that adult cats only meow for humans. So even a "stray" cat is still a regular cat, which hasn't gone feral.

I think they still have a huge problem with those feral cats in Australia, where the small fauna has evolved

no way to deal with them (so they decimate the wallaby/whatever populations.) Yeah, crazy stuff:

Heh, when you have something called "The Feral Cat Taskforce", you must have a problem... (Australia.)

Plenty of stray and feral cats in my neighborhood. They are cool with me, until I get close. Once I do, away they go. Key is getting close when you find them as kittens. Have rescued two of them so far.

I was feeding all the adults but the fleas got so bad I couldn’t walk to the car without being swarmed.

The Shakermaker

As mentioned above, cats for camp.

Talking of camps, how about buying or hiring people so I've got other people to "chat" to other than Cripps. They can provide the camp with herbs, ammo, maps, etc. Play some horseshoes and Liars dice. Be cool if Micah or Charles could join the camp.

Also I would love the ability for my character to talk.

Camp hands, just have them mill around doing the camp animations from SP like moving saddles or brushing your Horse that's hitched, chopping firewood etc.

I wish Rockstar, would add the RDR1 interiors to Rathskeller Fork, Thieves Landing, Manzanita Post and Fort Mercer.

1) If you take a player out of Defensive mode for a mission, put them back into Defensive mode after the mission.   It is a pain in the rear to have to do it manually all of the time.

2) Do something about the jerks that hang around town to shoot/ram/dynamite you or your horse the moment you get off the horse to deliver a bounty - they are completely immersion breaking.

One more wish:  Fix the lame Rockstar Services already.  It is really frustrating when you do two (2) supplies runs in a row, are almost done or even already delivered but didn't register it yet... and you get thrown out because Rockstar Services yet again goes belly up.  I am about to do a 3rd run.

The sad thing is that game services fail constantly, ruining not just supply runs, but bounties and everything else.  You have to be very lucky to get onto a stable server, but when you do it then works fine for hours... which leads me to suspect the problem is server-specific.

What platform are you on? On regular old Xbox One, with Cox ISP in Nebraska USA, I'm always very stable in the game connection now; it fails once in a blue moon when I play for hours, and hours, and hours.

Today I had my one rare failure again, the "spinning" revolver "loading forever" wheel when I start the moonshine delivery.  So it is pretty "Rock" solid (ha ha!)  for me, most of the time. I'm not sure

why it is the Moonshine Delivery "first try" that does it for me sometimes. I then close game, go to free roam so I'm near the shack again, then do it without a problem; this

is also something I have to do sometimes when the "drink own strong moonshine" won't count =/  In fact, most of my problems seem to involve Moonshiner stuff!

The "loading forever" moonshine delivery is weird, upon Marcel finishing his babbling; what I don't get is why when I then exit and load into Free roam to do it, the thing starts instantly on that try.

It almost makes me think the original issue might have been a problem with another player, using the same moonshine shack in that session, started a delivery at the same time?

I wonder that because in all the tons of deliveries I've done from there, I've never once seen another player also doing a delivery? It seems like with 14 people in the lobby it might

happen sometime...?

I easily got to bounty hunter 30, then 10,000 more xp after that to turn in for a gold bar and now 5,000 of 10,000 again; so the bounties are pretty smooth for me without disconnects.

The one problem I had was the second "Blackwater Infamous Poster", which would just have me by the board with a "Gray X" forever and not able to fast travel or anything because

it said I was on a mission. This newest update seems to have fixed that for me, since It started right away this time (the one involving a train, in free roam for some dumb reason

instead of being in a private lobby like some of them.)

Ha, YES!  On the "free roam kills in cover" for today, I was again lamenting how I have to switch to Defensive again when it ends.

I wish we could purchase, gang affiliated themes for the Moonshiner shack.

Del Lobo, O'Driscoll, Laramie Gang, Skinner Brothers, etc. - the theme selected, would add that gang to your customer base. And maybe, a few contact missions.

I would love easier and quicker access to more emotes. I don’t know how easily emotes are accessed on PC, but on console it’s limited to 4  favorite emotes with additional emotes requiring menu navigations to use them. I like the emotes a lot, and many of them can be implemented in many scenarios when playing with others. They could be used to add to immersion to different situations or just make someone laugh. When I browse and purchase emotes I think about all the interesting and funny ways they could be used, but unfortunately it’s nearly impossible to execute the desired emote for unique situations in a timely fashion.

Maybe adding an Emote tab to the selection wheel would speed things up? We have tabs for Weapons, Items, and Horse. Maybe an Emote tab could work too?

They should use the same mechanic that they use for player bounties for attacking deliveries and other missions.

i.e: If a player doing a delivery or mission that you can interfere with cones near you, you get a notification asking whether you want to  attack them.  If you do want to attack them, then you get flagged as a hostile red dot to the seller, so they at least have a chance of taking defensive action and aren’t a complete sitting duck.

Even better would be if the prospective attackers have to pay a fee to launch the attack that gets paid to the seller if they successfully complete the sale.  That would mean that both sides have something at stake in the PvP.

I do not think I would favor such a mechanic, I mean I do not enjoy being attacked while making deliveries and I never attack others, though I have been shot myself by posse`s making deliveries because they have thought I have posed a threat wiouth me ever having intended to attack them, but I do not really complain about it.

Reason for that being the feeling of unease that is created between players that met eachother in RDO, which is a strength to the game as I see it.

Removing that unease or uncertainty would take away alot of the overall feel of the game in a negative way as I see it.

Not an entirely bad idea (a reasonably fair method anyway)--kind of like the alert below, which I rarely see, BTW:

Yeah, I do think it would at least weaken immersion with yet another GUI to deal with before doing something in-game.

That sense of paranoia towards other players is one of the worst aspects of the game.  Any benefit it provides is far outweighed by the positives.

Under the current system, a player undertaking a delivery is nothing but a sitting duck for an even vaguely interested attacker.  Defending cargo isn’t fun, because it is practically impossible.

Something has to be done to even things up.  At the moment it is like shooting fish in a barrel.  At least this way the poor sucker attempting a delivery can see the attackers coming.

Not sure that immersion breaking is a big concern.  It isn’t a big deal with player bounties.

We already open a UI every single time we eat something, pull out a gun, accept an invite, chug a tonic, go  fishing, craft something, interact with Cripps, accept a bounty, feed our horse, pat our horse, groom our horse, set up camp, change clothes, look at the map, use the catalogue, pick up mail, start a Posse, join a posse, accept a free roam invite etc...

Adding one extra UI interaction to attack a trader would be probably less than a 1% increase in UI interactions for the average player.  So not a big deal.

Its one of the most iconic old west clothing type so its pretty strange they have not added more of it to the game.

Originally native american style and material of making clothing, but back then everyone wore buckskin.

Dont have much hope they add it back any soon. It did not return in newest pass right?

I do think the issue stems from other players nearby.  If I do a moonshine delivery in a solo session by myself, I have never gotten the infinite loading screen.  Add a posse mate waiting outside or near the shack to that same session, and I will more then likely get the loading screen.  What I started doing is making my posse wait in the shack until I spawn outside with the wagon and I haven't gotten it since.

An option to attach, bird feathers to existing hats and/or hat bands, would be cool.

I also think players, should have access to the outfits we purchased for Cripps.

yeah that would been cool, but probably too late to wish something like that because they would need to adjust all the already added hats to work with feature like that.

It was option in story mode for Arthurs hat to add feathers etc

I wish, each city and town in the Red Dead universe had its own mini DLC - content, missions and role.

The world of Red Dead needs its version of GTA: Liberty City stories, GTA: Vice City stories and GTA: Chinatown Wars.

Lemoyne outlaw

i know i will probably get hate for wanting this. and someone may have already mentioned it. but i want a modern type role. or a city slicker role whatever they call it. so basically it would be mostly set around saint denis. and maybe a little with blackwater. and basically have all sorts of modern stuff to use. and when i say modern i dont mean modern for today. i mean modern for that era. the 1890s. i want to have cars. and motorcycles. even bicycles. and much more modern weapons. my favorite guns in the game are the semi auto and mauser pistols. i want to see more guns like them. and also add more fancy and modern clothing. now i dont know exactly what we would do to rank the role up. but as long as they add this stuff. i would not care.

and yes i know a lot of the red dead community hates the modern guns. and i have seen many people voice their concerns about adding cars into the game. and i can understand that. but i think it would just be fun to drive a car from the 1800s. and its not like it would be overpowered. but i tell you one thing. if they added a car then i would probably never ride a horse in the game again. unless it was forced.

and lastly i really want them to allow us to buy our own boats. this should have been in the game since day one. but it would be so cool to have my own boat and maybe even add some cosmetics to it. and also why not have a fishing or naval dlc to go with it?
