Well even though the home is pre-cut the rooms would be empty, allowing the user to put what they want where they want, if you want a bed next to the front door you can. It would all be in the same cell as well so no magical loading doors. If you want a trophy room then just put all your trophies on the wall in a certain room. A parlour would have bookcases and fancy chairs. DentureDynamite and Rev. Gnash

Hadn't thought of it until now, but that's one thing I don't at all miss in RDO compared to GTA Online. Selecting an item from a menu just to walk through a door was annoying, and really breaks immersion.

I still dislike the need to hold a button to enter Properties. I would have had it all be the same world space but you load into your instance. All Posse members load into yours and to load into other peoples you need to be invited. Destiny did it with the dungeons, you could have multiple people running around the overworld but once you entered a dungeon they all vanished with no loading and it became your dungeon. Assblaster
I think it'd be fun to have more random encounters in town: e.g., maybe a band of outlaws roars through town on horseback, shooting everything that moves; or an angry drunk starts a huge saloon fistfight; or someone offers a reward for the return of stolen stuff; or somebody offers cash if you can track down a kidnap victim; all that kinda thing. Towns could be livelier too: more interactions with saloon gals, maybe, and more betting games. dwarfhamster
I'm sure I'm not the only player to ask for these but here are my two wants: Be able to sell our old guns. Not point it in keeping them so let us have the option to sell old guns if we want. Another character slot! Direwrath, kcole4001, Rev. It would add a lot more interaction and game play fun than the random "duel" encounter where you have some cutesy dialog, two dead NPCs, a handful of loot and a big yawn. lol I would also still like to see R* FIX their lawmen, so that they respond/work like the cops in GTA Online; namely, they go after crime wherever and whenever it happens. I don't enjoy being considered the only possible criminal source in the world of RDO, simply because R* was too lazy to add code for lawmen fighting criminal NPCs in freeroam. One of the worst examples of this was having a wanted level while stumbling onto a gang hideout. I was then being shot at by both gang members AND lawmen. Totally screwed up logic. Poker games, that are occasionly robbed or interrupted by a drunk patron; when you spawn back into the lobby, you are given a prompt to track down the outlaws. DentureDynamite
Had an idea last night for an improvement to treating snake bites--instead of eating some Ginseng, how about a general "snake bite" tonic? Granted, not that we need more tonics, but at least it would feel more like a plausible cure than popping some pretty much medically useless Ginseng. The in-game Alaskan Ginseng isn't even Ginseng... Sundevil
^ If you didn’t already know, vanilla flowers cure poison from snake bites as well. There might be others too, but I’m only sure of ginseng and vanilla flowers. But you’re right, given how many different tonics we already have, a snake bite tonic seems like a big omission, especially with the sheer number of snakes around. kcole4001, Rev. Krommer
Original Red Dead Online had those cool mounts, once you got higher level/whatever, It had Bison and stuff. It would be nice to have more than just "horse." Maybe they don't want "immersion ruining" bison riding, but mules/donkeys would be cool. You can already ride them in the game, so player mounts of them would be cool. Hmm, maybe those could be in a "prospector" job, or something. "Your claim is being jumped, ride your burro back post haste!" Instead of Cripps, there could be a "Walter Brennan" type prospecting guy. Edited September 17, 2020 by Krommer Rev. OREOBOREALIS
-They have already added moccasins, but theres better versions in story mode imo. - This top of Eagle Flies -and the leggins loincloth of Eagle Flies would be so much better than what they added last dlc -this npc in wapiti rez has the best hair style imo and i want it for my character so bad -also the hair style with the feathers Charles has in the end of the game would be cool Spoiler Spoiler Grizzy, Rev. éX-Driver
It’d be rad if they added period drug consumables as things we could take for stat reasons. Think: laudanum [medical opium] as a drink that fortifies the health bar but drains the health core, amphetamine tablets that fortifies the stamina bar but makes your aim less accurate and drains the stamina core, and marijuana that fortifies the dead eye bar [and steadies for a minute or two the aim wobble effect when you’re being shot at] but drains the dead eye core. And maybe smoked heroin that fortifies all 3 bars and absolutely tanks all 3 cores, along with putting a screen effect on that makes it more difficult to see and aim. all of these were legal in the US in 1899, all have similar effects on the body in real life, and all could be used tactically in combat due to their combination of positive and negative effects. DentureDynamite
^^ Despite being historically and medically accurate, I suspect R* would avoid doing that for various legal reasons. I'd prefer to see fewer variations of the three basic tonics; it starts getting unwieldy when you're trying to figure out what that slightly-different bottle style contains. I rarely use any opened bottles; they're more clutter than anything. Edited September 29, 2020 by DentureDynamite

Rev. Gnash
NPC'S need more life and player interactions. Example: Player encounters an NPC; who was previously rescued. NPC, invites player to saloon for a drink (cutscene with dialogue) - possible trigger for a side mission. Some NPC'S invite, player to a home cooked meal (cutscene with dialogue) - exchange of "family heirloom". An item, that cannot be purchased or found. 4eyedcoupe, Megadeus, OREOBOREALIS and 3 others
DentureDynamite
^^ Good ideas--except, IMO, for the cut scene(s). Might just be me, but I prefer interaction to be live (and minimally time consuming) as much as possible. Edited October 2, 2020 by DentureDynamite StyxTx and Rev.
