MisFit-138
Rockstar Editor is still my #1 request for this game. The in-game self portrait ability is so ridiculously limited, it's a chore to use, and good luck getting a decent screen grab in cinematic mode. I want action shots! I want to make violent westerns, dammit! After that, it's mostly aesthetics. ‐'Sombrero cordobès' or 'Cordovan hat' -Capes. Like ponchos, I would like a variety of capes, as was the style at the time. -Rapier and/or Cutlass. Preferably with lunging and slashing animations. Like a machete with a longer reach. Most the worlds military were still carrying Sabres at the time. -Bullwhip- Essentailly a lasso with melee abilities. Maybe we could even use it to temporarily disarm npc's and other players. Bayonetta Rifle- Could be it's own rifle of some sort of expansion, but I would like a usable Bayonet. mgeoff88
The hand-to-hand melee system and the physics in this game are just begging to be utilized in an underground fight club. As much as I would like to see a pugilist/boxer role, I just don’t think there is enough fighting content to flesh it out as a proper role. I think doing a fight club would be a lot of fun. You could challenge other players, friends, even griefers, to fight with you. You wouldn’t have to worry about weapons (free aim against lock-on aim), ability cards, just you going mano y mano in a good old-fashioned fist fight with someone on an even playing field. It could work as a ad-on in the shack or basement in major towns.... Could be really awesome if it don´t need a buy in except to the shack! Like fly school in gta I would like a swim school for red dead online where we can do like ten lessons where you in the end learn to dive from high places, dive under water and swim for longer with less stamina drain. Maybe even learn to tow players and/or animals in deeper water! Sootyjared
Rockstar editor/director mode, I want to go around as a lion killing people in Saint Denis. Apart from that, I hope they add in something to do with “the man-made mutant”. Maybe bring it’s creator animals to use or have us hunting down their creations. It’s such a cool location even without the pig/bear/human hybrid with some pretty unique objects. Aside from that, maybe a grave robbing role or something involving medical stuff. Maybe supplying bodies to some mad surgeon. Also a curio shop or circus. Shotgun-Pauley and Rev. Gnash
DuduLima
Well ... let's go ... - Some of the horses and horses coats from RDR 1 and RDR 2 story mode. - If we ever have a Mexico expansion (Or not) in RDR Online ... i really hope to see and have the ability to buy Mules or Donkeys. - More coats, pants, vest, shirts and boots from RDR 2 story mode. - M1899 pistol from story mode. - Proper story-styled missions for the RDR Online strangers based on their backgrounds, some with multiple finishes with actual consequences which would affect the honor and the next mission/missions. - Legendary fishes, maybe with a throwback to that legendary Channel Catfish from story mode. blackwolfred, kcole4001, Rev. Guns a-Blazin
This is just my concept DLC. Title: The Crimes Of Saint Denis Update "Due to a massive surge in crimes, the city of Saint Denis has seen the demands for luxury goods and special services hit an all time low. Angelo Bronte, a successful businessman, needs your help and is willing to pay you anything for eliminating rival gangs and releasing the pressure off of his international working-class business. By working for Bronte, you can explore the criminal underworld of Saint Denis, delve deep into hidden secrets of the past and start some surprising new business ventures in this exciting new chapter of Red Dead Online". Content: 6 Main Story Missions that involves Angelo Bronte, Catherine Braithwaite and Henri Lemieux 2 New Roles (Bare Knuckle Fighter & Illegal Trader) 1 Purchasable Business Property (The Underground Bare Knuckle Fighting Club) in the slums of Saint Denis 4 Customisable Mansions & 6 Customisable Apartments in Saint Denis 2 Weapons added from SM (The M1899 Pistol & The Ornate Dagger) 1 Piece of Transportation (The Bicycle) 50+ Clothing (More Luxury Clothes) 3 New Emotes ("Italian Pinched Fingers", "Flexing Your Muscles" & "Punching The Air" ) Josiah Trelawny moving to Saint Denis on a permanent basis for the rest of RDO The ability to get away with crimes in Saint Denis (Bronte has connections with the Lawmen) The ability to go on the Saint Denis Riverboat and have gambling tournaments What do you guys think? Yes, a little goldrush type town, like Deadwood, so you could provision and return to the wilderness, or run mission out of would be ideal. I'd say another such town in the desert would do nicely too, but I don't think there's room without a map expansion. Rev. I was, thinking more of an encampment. Something that is not a permanent settlement (for continuity purposes). There are several spots that could work. And it it's almost needed to explain bandit activities in that part of the Grizzlies. kcole4001

Would add some nice variety and danger to the water areas... Lakes And Rivers have their own dangers, which could be explored better. Some Rays, Moray Eels, Barracudas and Houndfishes are fishes which can be dangerous to humans, i think the only two other big water/aquatic animals, close to the American Alligator in terms of size, danger to humans and capable of coexisting in Rivers/Lakes in a U.S RDR/RDO setup are the Bull Shark/Tiger Shark, which are the most adaptable species of shark around (RDR have a model of a Tiger Shark which we can see in Guarma, so it should be easier to convert/adapt) and the Burmese Python, but this last was introduced almost 100 years after the time which RDR2 and RDO happens. (Since the game doesn't need to properly follow patterns ... maybe a Python or a Boa can be a possible danger around). A aquatic DLC/expansion made as a extension for the Naturalist, Trader and Collector setups would be interesting. Edited August 21, 2020 by DuduLima Fix typo Rev. Guns a-Blazin
My 2nd DLC Concept. Title: The Law & Order Update "Are you tired of running from the law? Are you worried about getting caught again? Are you scared of actually getting hanged this time? Well, FEAR NOT! You dirty outlaws have been given a life line and it is up to you to decide whether you want to redeem yourselves in this brand new update for Red Dead Online. Either join the law and make up for your past mistakes, or continue your journey of being a nasty and unforgivable outlaw in the wild wild west. Whatever you decide, there will be consequences... Content: Note: To start this new role, you will need to buy the "Law Book" for 15 Gold Bars. You also have the option of working for Sheriff Freeman or Police Chief Benjamin Lambert. It doesn't matter which one you pick as they have unique missions and the same overall outcome (20 levels). Multiple Sheriff/Lawman Missions Multiple Honourable/Dishonourable Missions For Sheriff & Lawman 1 Customisable Sheriff/Lawman Office (features an armoury, a jail cell and a place to rest) 3 New Strangers (Landon Ricketts, Obediah Hinton & Tilly Jackson) 30+ Clothing For Sheriff/Lawman 1 New Walking Style ("Above The Law") Lots Of Random Events (breaking up saloon fights, stopping store hold-ups) The Annesburg German Pub Finally Opens Up (shuts down before 1899) The ability to protect Towns/Settlements from Gang Attacks as Sheriff/Lawman The ability to take your Dog out of Camp and use them as "sniffer dogs" in Missions and for the Collector Role What do you guys think? Would this role be good for RDO? Edited August 22, 2020 by FortifiedGooner86 berzelmayr
AStiffBreeze
I just want the ability to set a ‘default’ item in each weapon/item wheel slot. I don’t want to have to scroll through 30 horse provisions to find wild carrots every time; just let us specify a default item in each slot so that it comes up with that one by default, and you can scroll through the rest if you like. Leftover Pizza
An option to 'Cook and craft max'. While riding your horse, tap X to gain speed, then hold X to maintain that speed. Grizzy
I'd eventually love to see the Horse fence added. But give it something extra to make it something people actually use. Just like legendary animals, add very rare horse breeds that you can find randomly in the world. Then you can either sell them to the fence for a high price or add them to your stable. RyuNova
Said it before but here's the condensed version... The ability to buy land, one from each of the games "biomes" (Forest, fields, plains, swamp etc). Once bought you can Fast Travel to it, it is its own world space. Like Beechers Hope you start out with a little shack with a bedroll and a camp fire, you can then travel to Blackwater and buy a precut house style (lets say, ten options) which is then delivered and NPC's start building it, just have different stages using the multiple house building animations from SP and Beechers Hope. It takes about a week in-game. Once its built you can then furnish it by travelling to a new shop in Strawberry, Blackwater and Saint-Denis. You can buy "themes" like the Moonshiner Bar, this would be wall paper, flooring colour etc as well as buying individual items like chairs, bookcases, side tables etc that you can place either using a drag and drop system or the same system the Casino Penthouses uses in GTAO. You then have the option to use the extra land to put down stuff like Stables which come with a Stable hand who you can buy Horses etc from or plant crops or graze animals. You can either employ Ranch Hands to automate it or you can do it yourself. You can then sell the stuff, when sold you will spawn in a wagon at a train station and have a destination to take it to. One can only dream... As far as I can tell that sounds like the perfect way to implement properties, with all the bells and whistles too. Separate world space means no sharing the lawn / land with another player, and it also adds the potential to even add newer biomes. Maybe my homestead is sitting atop the desert pine-forested cliffs overlooking the state of New Austin. That would be a new biome, reminiscent of somewhere in Utah perhaps, like Zion National Park for example. Some other examples would be across the Lanaheechee River (hope I spelled that right), Mexico, west of New Austin (California?), and even Guarma (although it would take some mental gymnastics to make that work immersively). However, I think having unique room options, rather than a whole pre-cut house, could be cool (but definitely a lot more work for R* to make it modular). If they did though, and we saw something like Hearthfire from Skyrim, I'd be really pleased. Cigar lounge room? Yes please. Parlor to show some legendary animals you've hunted? Also yes please. Rev.
