Buying gold certificates with $RDO cash would be interesting. And the value of the certificates could rise or fall - depending on activities surrounding story missions (Bank Heists or other nefarious dealings)

Since legendary animals are being added I hope they don't use the same ones as they did in single player. I hope they have another giant gator but not the same one from SP, maybe they could make this one even bigger and add different markings and make it even harder to kill, also a spotted jaguar(like Khan from RDR1.) 

 

Also since thinking about the swamp I would love to see nightfolk added in free roam online as they reminded me of the demons from bone tomahawk. 

 

To add more to my wishlist I heard some folks on this thread saying about having Dutch's gang in online and I think having an outlaw role will be the perfect way to introduce them and do work for them aswell as the O'driscolls, skinners, lemoyne raiders, the del lobos and the Lararmies. You could have Dutch's gang be stationed outside Blackwater as that's where they were before the events of SP. Since we ain't getting any SP dlc I think this will be ideal and we can be given jobs by different members, same goes for the other gangs like the O'driscolls and etc.

nothing has been confirmed by R* yet but the legendary animals and new random events have been found in the code for the next update so those are a pretty good bet. As for trapper role that is just a guess.

It still just a guess probably a real good one. But it might end up being Cripps that is the person you have to talk to and end up being an extension of the trader role (which it better not be). Again the only thing that is verifiable is that there is new random events and legendary animals how they are going to be implemented is pure speculation until we get something from R* themselves or someone finds something else hidden in the code. But yeah I do hope they give us an announcement soon.

Hmm, it'd be neat if natives decked out with war paint were added to the random Ambush roster. Some with rifles, some with bows, maybe a couple that run after you to pull you off your horse & try to kill you with a tomahawk. Would be pretty cool

i wish they would let us pick a permanent camp spot. i have a spot that’s right by my moonshine shack right now and i wish i could keep it forever 😭

There is already legendary animals in Online if you do the Free Mode Event where you hunt animals! Did one in Tall Threes and was hunting Legendary Wolf's!

Not to complain but the issues with Trader will be there....

Yes this one I like! But not a spot but an area where we can take permanent residence! As it is now and you pick spawn in camp you can end up all over the map....

Despite game takes place 25 years before the war, i would like Rockstar to break timeline (as they did in GTAO) and add some of the german WW1 trench coats.

Wagons, Carts and buggies. To use in free roam, and races.

The use of owned horses to build a racing team for your cart. Ability to paint and customize your cart.

More color schemes for horses.

 

The biggest one, single and double horse buggy/cart racing. There are many areas around that would be fantastic for this. We really need horse racing!

 

I won't mention buying houses / property or apartments although they do get a mention especially if you buy a ranch and breed horses. (Upkeep of ranch, ranch hands, selling horse missions, rescuing horses from thieves, stealing horses....) Be legit, or shady.

 

There are many places that would be amazing.

Giving more use to the honor system.

 

That could go from NPCs reacting to your presence, to much bigger like they started with the storyline mission. Even for the roles themselves, they could give the player multiple paths to take in some roles. The story mode made the mistake (in my opinion) to not use the honor system enough, and Rockstar can give RDO something really special by improving the honor system.

More customization is awlays welcome, would be interesting some kind of animal pelt giving the player a specific ability, for exemple Bear giving you more damage unarmed and with melee weapons, Crocodile makes you more resistant to bullets, Wolf gives a posse buff, Panther makes you stealth going off radar for X time, needing to cooldown to reuse, and so on.

 I agree, the honor system should reflect your fame or infame when interacting and passing by in the cities, it adds depth to the game, I think it even should be tied to Player Bounty, a player with an "infame" position in the honor bar should not be albe to pay his own bounty, would make NPC's uncomfortable with his/her presence, vendors, lawman and sheriffs would have different lines and reactions depending on your behavior. 

I may be asking too much, but with time, we may see R* add more "rpg" elements in their games, RDR2 itself is a big jump from GTA5.

Hair style like this for male characters. Its allready option for females in the game so they could basicly just take it and add it for male characters too.

The ability to purchase books (like in SP).

 

These books can be purchased or found in free roam missions (scavenger hunt). And will unlock, special features (advanced crafting, horse trading, weapon customization, exclusive items from SP and loads of easter eggs from the Red Dead universe).

 

Some "master class" books are only available to higher levels. Penny Dreadful's are locked to honor/dishonor - with mini missions attached.

 

And customized bookshelves/book stacks - where purchased books can be displayed.

Ok, after playing a month reaching level 116 completing the roles. I have had quite some thought put into this.

 

Red Dead Online is more then  MMO and should be treated as such; with bugs preventing me from doing the stranger missions, I have beem able to complete 7 different ones. Not the topic though;

 

The stranger missions really bring the game to life (outside of story missions) they give you different amd interesting things to do to break up the daily cash grind as your only goal really is to earn cash and gold to buy everything.

 

What would be great is more 'side' missions but not just goto x get mission; kill 10 rats, but in depth mystery and intrigue. Walking through town you hear some npc's chatting about a loat treasure, or where they saw a great beast. Thus giving the player the need to want to go explore those areas.

 

The trick though is not to have any of these be static events, but evolving. You'll hear different chatter at different times of the day, even different days of the week. Like how the collector items change daily, and not available for 24hrs if a cycle was collected.

 

No mission to open and lock out other missions, but something that can interrupt a mission if a player had heard about it.

 

Imagine, reports of a burned out cabin -- a traveler saw something, a ghost maybe and was chatting about it at a campfire. The player over hears this, then later the player is on a bounty and passes this burnt out cabin in the middle of the night. Only to hear some weird sounds maybe see's a light. There is a ghost and it points in a direction. The player follows the direction and finds a chest, or a body. Within this object is a clue to something. Maybe a treasure or a clue to something larger, possibly a murderer or arsonist. It could even be just some old clothes or a photograph.

 

The intrigue will keep players searching high and low.

 

Can't wait for Outlaw pass #3

Cars are to GTA, as Horses are to Red Dead. Unfortunately you can't put spinners on horses.

Rifles, revolvers and pistols. Rich in history with many variations and modifications are Red Deads legacy.

A handgun is a signature of every rancher, marshall, outlaw and cowpoke. They don't need to stand out with any crazy stats or be too terribly unique but they do need to be modifiable by any folk itchin to do some serious law makin' or crime.

Shorter barrels are better on the draw but not on range, larger cal weapons fire slower but do more damage, these are already part of what we know as good mechanics.

Obsidian, opal and pearl handles, silver etched grips, leather or cloth wraped. These add to the signature of the user. The flair and the spectacle.

We have Colt, Schofield, Smith and Wessin, Remington, Walker and Patterson (both Colts) filling the majority of the 'popular weapons. Some sound familiar some do not.

What gives a player their fight is one they can call their own. I remember the first revolver I bought, it even fired a shotgun round but it just was not me. Now I run with my trust Double-Action it is my signature, my brand. It doesn't matter that I can empty it into a target and the target still fights (although bleedout should be a thing) it matters that it's mine and not many others use one.

To pair off with your personal defensive equipment, a sturdy mounting and storage device likewise matching my personality adorns my hip. Thus allowing me to weaponise my person and bring the fight to the enemy.

 

As with the law of the west, I'll let my 6 shooter decide my fate.

New guns are always nice--not going to lie; but I'd prefer to see anything that adds significant new game play variety, like bear traps, new types of weapons, new environmental hazards (quicksand), etc.

There could be swords, since the old west is the post-medieval era, more melee weapons would be nice.


Also, I wish we could hire npc mercenaries when you're not in a posse, a maximum of 3 at a time, average aim and health pool, 15$ dollars a day each.
