Do you mean for buying ammo? Because if you hold down the buy button it will buy the max amount of ammo

So I recently bought a dog at my camp and he’s the cutest. Like if I run around my camp he’ll follow behind with his tail wagging in the air. He’s so happy. I wish we could take our furry companions out and treat them like horses. Like being able to feed them and giving them baths. Like horse bonding but for dogs. I want to be able to take my dog on the beach of Blackwater and jog with him and play fetch. And I want to be able to feed him. I feel so bad I don’t have an option to feed him... I know it’s a game haha but come on you get connected... Also Rockstar can you give us the option to rub our dogs bellies? I mean it’s kinda part of the package when you get a dog.

 

TLDR: My DLC more so small update wish would be to add more features and add the ability to take out dogs out of our camp.

Having your Dog following you and helping you is a very easy thing to add that's likely being held back for a Hunter Role.

The dog I bought though isn’t a hunting dog so I think you’re kinda missing my point... I’m talking about a non hunting dog. As I’ve wrote, a dog to play fetch with and like just take walks with. I know this isn’t the Sims but come on they gave us the option to buy dogs and the least we can do is pet them and kinda play chase with them around our camp.

I have always tried to keep my wishes quite realistic, but for once I will allow myself to go all out:

 

A much bigger map, 4x the current size, so we can discover much more locations and all regions are much larger, but keep towns and cities the same size. Add in some new ones tho, that would be cool. 

 

You want to play for hours in the bayou without ever seeing a city or town? You can.

You want to wreak havoc in not one, but three major cities? You can.

You want to ride for hours through lush forests and huge mountains? You can.

You want to fast travel? There are much more sign posts. 

 

9x the current size (so 3x width and 3x height) would be my personal dream, but I know a lot of you would hate a size like that 😂

Matching suits with patterns would be nice. They also got to introduce some navy and deep brown vests since the alternatives are too light or tan.

1) Sell half, at the Butcher.

 

You can sell ALL, of a stack of venison/whatnot. However, with the camp stews I don't want to sell ALL, I'd like to sell about half so I have enough for stew, but can still get more materials if I have new kills.

 

I hate how long it takes, to sell 10 or 15, with the the thing spinning and trying to catch up on the sales. Again, i never thought of the game needing this until we have the trader stews and such.

 

 

2) Save completely on the horse, just like the Hunting Wagon.

 

My Hunting Wagon is my "in case of disconnection, due to a fault of the Rockstar servers" vault. This should not be the case, believing that it was probably not designed solely with disconnects in mind.

"Perfects? FLEE HORSE, SCRAMBLE FOR HUNTING WAGON!" If the Wagon can do it, so can the horse.

 

I can't believe this could be to save server saves, since so many other things obviously initiate a hard save. Which reminds me:

 

3) HARD FORCED SAVE, on 1/3 arrows collected, 1/3 antique bottle, etc.

 

I've seen this too much, lately. I get as high as 2/3 arrows, get a "disconnected due to an error in the rockstar servers" and then see 0/3 arrows, upon getting back in.

I've ended up having to cave and get maps from Madam Nazar, since that seems to help (don't have a tablet or a way to casually ride along looking at the interactive map for spawns.)

 

Meanwhile, it obviously is Hard Saving 3/3 arrows, or whatever. Again, it is silly to think this saves them a lot on server save overhead. I remember other games that used to take the same approach, like World of Warcraft, then eventually realized they had to save more often for their users. If there was a technical reason for doing it, they figured out a better way to cause less overhead.

 

 

4) Speaking of Canoes, where are the trader missions/whatever making you steal a canoe with supplies?

 

I saw this as kind of a glaring omission, especially since there is even a "travel X amount of miles by canoe" buckle. They have a few missions in game, sometimes involving a canoe, but who does those now with the new stuff (plus, even with those and shooting NPCS for canoes I never got very far with this one.)

 

Instead of the camp, you could be rowing the canoe up to some point nearby with water with a cutscene of Cripps on the shore (or just transfer canoe stuff to your horse and ride back, at the end of it.)

 

 

5) Though I bought the dog for that purpose, out of COUNTLESS hours playing I've only had it ONCE come to me about a raid at the camp (very soon after buying it, coincidentally?)

 

That makes the dog seem superfluous, though I have bought into the possible myth that if you pat it supplies are better (not sure where I heard that odd rumor.)

 

 

6) HARD SAVE on local deliver missions/whatever progress, in case disconnected by a fault of the rockstar servers.

 

This is a big one. Though out of countless ones I've only may had this happen 4 or 5 times, it is still horrible.

It should at least let you still have those 100 materials, having to repeat the mission again when getting back in game. It is to the point where I feel like not bothering, or perhaps just doing them at 25 or 50 just in case. That is ridiculous. From what I've read, this hasn't even happened to me as much as other players; I've made the bulk of the $13000 I have now from local deliveries, as well as what I've spent on clothes/wagons/themes/whatever.

 

My guess is they don't do this in case of a player trying to "cheese" it, disconnecting on purpose if the delivery goes south/wagon breaks or something.

However, they should be able to tell the difference.

I really wish they'd add friend and crew halos like GTA, or something like it.

I shouldn't need to start a posse and invite a limited number of people to know who's friendly and who's not.

Too many times I've came across another blue dot, to ride away to safety, only to look at the map and find out its my mate.

Umm... The game is hard saving on sells. When you start the sell it hard saves that your camp goods are now at 0. You want it to revert to how it was originally and NOT save after the mission has started.

 

The change wasn't due to players trying to "cheesing" in the event of a failure. They changed it becuase of players abusing it to do a money exploit/glitch. (Put it this way, the Trader money exploit made Trader far more profitable than Collector) Instead of fixing the exploit/glitch itself, Rockstar did a "band aid" fix and made it so the game saves the 0 camp goods when starting a sell.

Ah, did not know that (about the change.) I could have sworn that among my first deliveries, when trader was new, that I disconnected from a mission and still had the materials/could repeat the mission. Maybe that was why? I had no idea there was an exploit involved with it.

 

Yeah, that is lame how it hard saves the 0 goods, so you just don't get them even if it disconnects. I even had a time where it said "Delivery completed, goods sold", then disconnected me due to fault in the rockstar server. When I got back in, it had not "hard saved" that it completed, since it didn't get to the part where I was rewarded. I even wrote Rockstar about that, but got no $500.

I also hope we will see mexico one day I mean you can see they have modeled part of the map or at least upgraded some of the models from rdr1 but some of the towns in mexico were so unique and id love to see them

Still want breaking into houses to be a risk. Not sure what the percentages would be, but there should be at least some chance that you'll find someone inside or someone will show up and it triggers a "breaking and entering" alert. Opens up the possibility of a standoff with the law from inside, too. 

 

Another thing that would make the game more immersive without doing too much is to have your actions have consequences in the news. A paper with your face on it saying you're wanted for X, Y and Z or your name and likeness on the Bounty Board once you've gone above the $10 mark. It's cool that bounty hunters come for you, but reactions from the regular folks would increase the stakes.

1. Fix the camps so it stops disappearing at random which forces me to have to pay to get it to show up again.... if it shows up again. I've gotten to where once the camp disappears, I turn off the game.

 

2. More variety in daily challenges. Challenges involving the camera (like taking a picture of lightning, or of yourself in a mirror, or of a certain animal) or studying animals or something.

 

3. I would like to see better framerate in St. Denis. Right the framerate is not good. I'm assuming on PS5 the framerate wont be a problem though.

 

4. Tell us in the stats/challenges what animals we haven't killed so we can get the belt buckle. I've been missing like 5 for a year.

 

5. Easier method of doing gang hideouts. I liked doing them in the first Red Dead Multiplayer. They seem difficult to find or spawn in RDO. I've tried timing them before, but I still can't get 4 done in one game day to get the buckle.

 

6. Allow us to unequip offhand holster.

 

7. Mexico

1.  I’d like the choice of what kind of lobby types to play in, if I want to play alone or with friends without randoms give me that option.  If I want to mix it up with randoms for pvp give me that option. 
 

2. Fix the stability issues!!

 

3. Add Mexico and the other locations mentioned in the game. 
 

4. please don’t add anything else that can and WILL be exploited and used by griefers. 

The biggest problem I have with this game is of my own expectations of what we would get at launch. I just hope we all get at least some of what we all want/expected from what this game could be.
