The RDR2 map is plenty big enough, without the need to open up Mexico.  

Talk for yourself. I am pretty sure millions (not even exaggerated) disagree with you right there 😂😂. Mexico is seriously one of the most requested features if FB, reddit or twitter are an indication (it is). 

 

Personally I feel like any region is way to small. An increase of scale with 2x would be perfect. Larger forests, larger deserts, higher mountains, much more bayou. Resulting in more animals to hunt, much more wilderness feeling, a more realistic distance between towns (not biome!). + I simply want more of what we have, since the world is so amazingly crafted and beautiful!

 

To me that would be the perfect size, as long as there are enough fast travel options, but that's coming from someone who frequents hunting games. I know a lot disagree with me on this. Still a man is allowed to dream right? :)

With the new roles coming I also would like to see an outlaw/robber class. Bring us the possibility to rob coaches, trains, npcs and banks!

Iirc it was @Fun 2 who talked about hints towards horse fences and wagon fences coming to RDO in the future. Could be next Tuesday or later.

Really enjoying the new Free Roam Events. Where the community joins together for a common purpose and goal.

 

The Wish:

A section of San Denis, is over run by Night Folk. And you have to clean house, using a weapon locked

arsenal.

 

1.Bow (standard arrows and a few flaming arrows)

2.Axe

3.Basic Cattleman revolver

4.A few fire bottles

 

Lootable enemy bodies, with items being limited to what the Night Folk have. Herbs, gold teeth, small animal pelts, etc.

Horse rancher would be good role. Buying, selling, breeding, sourcing, developing horses...

 

Easy to come up with different kind of missions for this role.

 

Would be nice touch to include unique specimens in the world, which you could use for breeding special horses.

I know. That’s how I got there. I even honored the buried by kneeling for a moment and it’s still gonna be a 10x better fit theme for my toon. 😁

Maybe this has been talked about already, but I'm getting quite done with reading up on all the threads I wanna post in.

Tattoos.

Was that even a thing in frontier life? I know the art of tattooing was available at that time, but that's about the whole of my knowledge oon the history of tattooing. Either way, might be the place for some American traditional style tattoos.

 

I really don't see how I can stretch this into two paragraphs, so I'll leave it at this.

You can. It feels unnatural to me, but pulling the trigger again cocks your gun of choice.

Basically you're pressing your triggerbutton twice per round fired.

With the many frustrating bugs and failures we've got so far, I think we should have a "Commit Suicide" option added in the player menu, including the animation like we have in GTAO. It feels so right to use it these days....

..hmmm actually im quite sure theres a big tent you can buy if you choose survivalist as theme of the camp,, that has similar skull with paint in it,, if i remember correctly.

You are correct. The $650 big survivor tent has the same skull, but that's about it. The rest of the camp is still not really much native themed.

I’d like to see a custom hatter added as a shop in St Denis. Where you take a pelt of your choosing [with the different animal pelts having different fur patterns] to make a generic Boss of the Plains-type hat shape. You then are given the option of how much you want the brim rolled, from just a tiny curl at the front to having it pinned up like a slouch hat. With each side’s ‘curl’ being independent options you can choose seperately. Then you could get the option of how you want the crown pinched, with options like cattleman and montana and telescope creases. Then we should get options for various types of hat bands with selectable colours, and finally accessories we can add such as feathers we harvest off of birds or pins. Obviously the hat itself should be colourable.

they could make the hatter have some sort of twitch or spasm as a reference to how the mercury they used to use in hatting would bugger hatter’s nervous systems and make them have involuntary convulsions and mental issues.

 

have the cheapest option be straw, which doesn’t require a pelt. Then leather [cowhide], gatorskin, rabbit, beaver, snakeskin, and bear.

It would probably be difficult with timeline constraints, but I'd like to see Van Horn and Thieves Landing be a bit more lively and have more going on. I know those areas are supposed to be run down areas for lowlifes and criminals, but they just feel very empty to me.

 

At the very least I'd like to see dynamic events like bar fights and hold-ups. Maybe add a butcher and a horse fence and possibly collect and trade goods for incoming sea travelers at the docks of each area. I really liked the area of Thieves Landing in RDR1 and was disappointed to find it's just a shell in RDR2

What I'd like to see is an addition to Defensive Mode added in a patch or new dlc. Instead of 'Parley' or 'Press Charges' on a grief attacker while you're in defensive mode, add an option to directly 'Send Lawmen' after them. 
Grief attackers get to deal with waves of lawmen for as long as they remain hostile (+15mins hostile time added per hopped session), gaining them a $5 bounty + 1min hostile time and no XP per lawmen killed and become viable for player bounty hunters to hunt them down and rake in the actual gained bounty, which comes out the attacker's pockets. In case an attacker hops sessions, bounty hunters who tagged them as a target can choose to hop along and keep hunting them. That'll give defensive mode some extra beef and provoking players less incentive to focus on one player.

I want more camp customisation options - like 5 options for every piece of furniture.  I want my camp to be my camp.

 

I would also like them to have a series of random animations for when we enter the game, like they have in GTAonline.  At the moment, our character seems to just materialise out of thin air into the game world. 

 

Let us  get a hint of what our character was doing before we take control of them. Show them checking their gun, looking through binoculars at a landmark, finishing off a cigarette, washing their face in a stream, stamping out a small campfire, checking their watch, browsing their RW catalogue etc...

Bounty Hunter Role:

Working with or competing against, James Langton.

Idea:

James Langton has a story to tell.

 

Scenario:

You receive an invite for a sit down with Langton. When you arrive, Langton tells you a rumor about Red Harlow. The most famous bounty hunter, in (RDR) history.

Red, had a list of names and whereabouts, of five people with large bounties on their heads. All five had complicated stories and there was some doubt whether or not they were guilty. So Red, let them go. And they went into hiding,  with new identities. But the warrants are still active and the bounties are worth a small fortune.

 

Langton, wants you to find the list and hand it over to him and his men. He will pay you a fee.

 

You have the option, to hand over the list and be done with it. Or collect the bounties yourself (causing hostility with you and Langton).

 

Third option, honor the wishes of Red Harlow, letting the five individuals go. And receiving unique collectables from each NPC, as a thank you.

Rockstar should add missions related to klansmen. Would be pretty funny to see them in Online. Maybe turn them into a gang for some missions.

I’d like to see free-for-all and team based rowing races. FFA obviously just being individual players in their own boats, but team races being built on a cooperative rowing mechanic in a long racing rowboat. The team races could have matches for anywhere between 2-person teams in a boat right up to 8-man boats. So there’s enough room for between 4 and 32 players. Have an A.I. coxwain who helps the team maintain a pace by telling them when to stroke. And the players all have to match their strokes to get the most power and keep the highest speed.  So if even one player gets the timing wrong, it causes the boat to lose speed.

If there’s an uneven number of players then just have the team they’re on not have the speed affected by the loss. But if players bail during the race, then have that team suffer from the lack of manpower.

 

I reckon such a chaotic game mode would be great fun for a group of mates, or be exciting if you’re playing with randoms. Puts teamwork and timing to the test.

While the trader role is a great first step, I'd like to have more things to do at camp. If like it to be like single player where we can chop wood, give hay to the horses, or carry supply bags over to Pearson. Something to make the camp feel more alive and give me a reason to spend more time there aside from the 2-3 minutes I spend at camp giving Cripps carcasses or starting a supply/sale run

Blowgun with a variety of darts. Deadly poison of course, poison must be collected from venomous snakes. Knockout darts (an alternative to the bolas to capture bounties), tracking darts (same as the tracking arrow), madness darts (same as berserker darts in the AC series).

I can see myself now me, my brother and a handful of friends travelling around the map leaving all kinds of bodies laying around the world.........
