EST. Download time for physical copies

Hey everyone, my local EBgames is going to start selling the game at 9 pm. I also have both a physical and digital copy of the game. So my question is, any idea how long the download/install off of the physical copy will take? Debating whether i should delete the digital download off of my ps4 to download the physical copy if that means I get to play the game earlier on the 25th when I pick it up.

The game shouldn't take 3 hours to install and play from disc and the day 1 patch is like 3gb. It really depends what time you get home, if the queues are long you could be waiting a bit.

One thing I have noticed (maybe my imagination) when installing a large game from a disk is to disconnect from the internet. Install game from disk then reconnect and download any updates, seems to go a lot faster.

Thinking same thing as OP I think even digital download will need to decrypt? that probly takes 20-30 mins just not sure how my sleeping pattern is going to be friday
