Halloween 2018 Event

is there any halloween event planned for this year to GTA Online? Do you have any information about that? Thanks in advance.

There's no information that I'm aware of but I'd be surprised if there isn't a Halloween themed event starting on Tuesday 30th.

 

It'll probably just be previous years Halloween content being made available, x2 bonus on any Halloween themed game modes etc.

With RDR2 about to drop, I wouldn't be surprised if next week's weekly "event" is lackluster. Just something to quell the masses.

Yeah I can't see there being anything "distracting" starting next Tuesday.

Enjoying Halloween event in Destiny 2, maybe i'll drop by GTAO Halloween to grab some of the facepaints.

Probably the Halloween vehicles being able to buy again, for those who never bought any of them. Maybe they'll throw in a nice sale for the Vigilante, bit other than that, don't expect any more than last year, I think.

 

RDR2 is now downloading onto my PS Pro, so I won't be in Los Santos much around Halloween anyway, unless RDR2 sucks balls.

The Sanctus, Lurcher & Franken Stange will return, most likely 25% off.

 

As for the 2x$, I'll probably be Slasher & Lost Vs Damned adversary modes. I can see them doubling the Inferno transform race as well.

Inferno weather in free mode would be dope. They also could change all the pedestrians to clowns, aliens, mimes and whatnot.

An undead nightmare style event would be dank. No traffic on the street and all the npcs are ghouls/zombies. Just make sure ammu-nation is somehow open to restock on ammo. Add hordes to the subways and stuff. I in no way expect something like this but would love it all the same

It is unique to the "Inferno" stunt race, which can be found in the Rockstar created stunt races list.

Last year the event dropped on friday 27th, IIRC. It was the same day the Vigilante released. Halloween itself was on tuesday. So I am expecting them to do the same this year.

Totally get what you're saying here dieseltech. Very over done in general. But I like bully2's thinking too, lol. Wish it had of happened myself.

 

Had R* done it from early on where either the map had a mass one night city wide survival plagued by zombies, I feel it could have been awesome really.

 

Good RP and cash boxes stashed everywhere, like a huge gang attack even. Or at least added a survival or 2 to the list with zombies in it. Just something like the snow where it seems to change the game for a couple of days to really highlight the event. (Leave game modes like races or heists as is of course).

 

Could use vampires, aliens and werewolves too, parody it all by making it obvious that the NPC's have just gone crazy on us in some weird haze. Could've been be a giggle for a weekend.

Yeah except RDR2 drops on Friday so you best believe Rockstar won't be saying a peep about GTAO.
