Will there be a rockstar editor?

For all us creative people, Will there be a rockstar editor in the game? .

 

What would you make?

Not having a R* editor would be truly asinine on Rockstar's behalf. Photo mode is all the rage in the video game world right now and as well it should be. Tons of incredible photos that show off their games in different lights. Not to mention, the awesome clips people will make from RDR2. The world is vast, beautiful and full of life. Different areas to capture. I cannot find a single reason why they wouldn't add it to the game.

 

And the name itself implies it will be. They could have simply called it GTA Editor if it was strictly for GTAV/GTAO. I imagine R* Editor will continue to expand through the games. Maybe it won't be out right away, but perhaps further down the line in a month or two with all new features, filters, design, etc.

It would be a huge mistake on their part to not add this . I see no reason it wont be there. 

 

Gaming companies are adding this more and more . Why? Because it basically gives them free advertising . People post awesome screenshots all over social media. Its a great tool for both customer and company. They already have the basic code for it, just add it in. No reason it wont be there( maybe not at launch but soon after for sure)

Motion picture technology was in infancy at the time the game is set. Unless the editor's capabilities are limited to what was feasible 120 years ago, I oppose it in favour of IMMERSION.

Yeah I'm with you brother ... no Editor.. how dare Rockstar make trailers and take screenshots, do they think this is a freaking game? where's the immersion at? pre-order canceled.

I know what your saying. Rockstar obviously want to keep it pure and stay true to the time period. How hard life was etc etc.

But its not just a tribute to that era, it's also a tribute to alot of the old western movies and cinema.

So I expect/hope there will be different filters for different types of film used along the 20th century.

That's how I think theyl 'get round it'.
