Raising livestock

In the first shot if the release trailer, we can see a few chickens roaming around the gangs camp. Do you think raising our own livestock will be a thing? Would be an ìnteresting way of feeding your crew, while also having to protect them from coyotes and stuff.

I'm not sure that raising your own lifestock will be a thing, i think the chickens might just be there to add to the environment maybe. Unless you can get gang members that are ranchers or have experience as one as that would make sense.

I hope they atleast add it in the future, would be cool to harvest them and sell the meats to butchers and eggs to general stores  would also add that much more immersion into what looks like an already immersive game

Glad you brought this up. 🤗 Out of everything in the trailer the chickens was thing super excited about (apart from the other things Hyped for).

Considering there is a mobile chicken coop

I'm leaning towards can collect 🥚 to use them in recipes by the Chef or yourself. Also 🐔 as a food source if food is "scarce" aka you need immediate food 🍲 or just atheistically pleasing 🤗

Like you mentioned, could also possibly sell them. I would like to see Arthur be able to collect chickens & put them in a Wooden Basket thing to trade live for goods to a General Store (More goods for live or different items same principle for dead, kinda like the pelt mechanic?) (Something probably for Red Dead Redemption 3)

Wonder if there is a animation for opening up the side of the chicken coop to take out eggs 🤔 Also curious if the chickens drop feathers or if you pluck them once killed for food to use the feathers to make fishing lures 🎣

Damn, didnt even notice the mobile chicken coop! With that there im almost certain now that we'll have something to do with chickens, I doubt thatll be in the camp and not usable.

And with 300,000+ animations, Im sure one of them will be for the eggs.

I cant believe Im this hyped about chickens 🐓
