Stone hatchet and double action revolver event

I completed both the stone hatchet and double action revolver quests and was expecting the 500k from each cause that's what the event is. But I only recieved 250k from each. I know that within a week I will also recieve an extra 250k from the event, but I'm worried about not getting the extra 500k the event told me that I was getting

 

If you can explain this, that would be great.

The 500k is the 250k's together. As far as I'm aware, there is no additional 500k what-so-ever.
