Signed Bugstar Keyring

So this one is a bit random: we've all seen the common promo bugstar van keyring, but mine has a bit of a twist. A while back I was buying some rockstar merch from a guy on eBay - the descriptions said "rockstar employee having clearout" or something. Eager to hear some stories I asked about his job and we exchanged a few messages - turns out he's worked there for 21 years - GTA 2 was his first full game and he's involved in design. I asked if he was involved in merch design at all, and he told me that while the designers in his team aren't directly involved with merch, a lot of their designs end up being used for promo items. 

 

He personally had designed the logo used for the Bugstar Keyring and offered to sign it for me before sending it out. He wasn't selling this or anything else signed on his page, it was only through me asking about his work that this happened. He only charged £20 so wasn't using his signature to make money. Of course I accepted. Anyway, here is it, and while it's not 100% verifiable that he created the logo, he seemed very genuine, and it's an unusual thing to lie about lol. I doubt it's worth any more than it is it without the signature, but it's special to me. We've agreed to have a length chat on Skype or something soon.

Bro I didn't even ask yet lmao, no idea why - I checked the package and he didn't put return details on there either. The email address gives his second name I think, but I don't wanna leak that. I'll ask him when I speak to him next.

Oh f*ck. This basically confirms my previous suspicions that he did quit Rockstar. He has been selling a lot of merch on eBay. He was one of the remaining veterans.

I have no idea, but he answered my questions as though he was still there. Maybe just being low key, I didn't wanna pry too much lol.

You should really get him answer some questions, I want to know the production for the trilogy everything from Vice city & San Andreas merch Its funny because of that cocaine mirror. Mate your awesome if you get this interview, doesn't have to be his face for confidentiality but his voice maybe. @universetwisters do you even collect bro??

That's probably one of the best finds i've ever seen , just for the signature . If you can , could you ask him something about GTA 2 Merchandise ? It would be awesome . Hope you'll become part of the Merchandise Staff in the future ; it would be great !
