Do 2 characters share money?

Hey there, I already have my own character in GTA Online, but I'm thinking about creating a second one for my friend. How does this second character work then?

 

1. Do they share money? If so, is there any option how to avoid that?

 

2. Can the second character be named with other nickname?

They share both nickname and a bank account.

You can keep all your money in each characters pockets to avoid sharing money but it's a pain in the butt. To do that you need to withdraw all the earnings you made before logging on to the other character.

Your username is linked to your Social Club account so you can't have two in-game names on the same account without changing your name completely.

Both my characters have their own nickname.

 

I just realized he probably meant psn id or gamertag but he said nickname.

OP you can have one psn id or gamer tag per account but each character can have their own nickname.
